Hi Guys I have A i896 rogers capativate...i installed WeUI 2.5 rom that is ICS rom..but after installing I am having No Signal..i ccant make calls anything...I know its a modem issue...so please can some1 help which modem will work for me coz i tried 2 modems that dint worked...I am from India and on Vodefone Netwrk??

Have you set up your APN settings?
Do "modem dance". Search it up.

If you call the operator (Rogers) they will say that they won't be able to help you because you're not operating the default system. Try changing modems like Bravomail said.

Hello there,
Just got a used samsung skyrocket with At&t and upgraded to the 4.0.4 android version.
My problem is that I have no data and wifi will not work. I tried changing the APN settings which would get my data to work but still no Wifi or mms. Any suggestions of how I can fix this? Thank you.
Need more info:
1. Are you on stock or rooted?
A. If rooted, what rom?
2. What radio do you have installed?
It sounds like your radio didn't flash correctly. You can either ODIN to a stock 4.0.4 or just flash a ROM thru CWM Touch.

Try going to the Sky ICS thread in the development forum, grab one of the radios from there, and flash through CWM or TWRP. If it's a bad radio flash, that will fix it.

I'm on stock and I just upgraded to the 4.0.4. How do I check my radio?

No I just checked it and the number clean.I got the wifi to work but the internet is still weird. IM guessing I might have a defect phone.where do you guys think I'll have the biggest chAnce of getting a replacement Att or contact Samsung directly?

If you flash V20I you won't be able to connect to your cell network anymore, V20I is for T-Mobile UK which uses different frequencies from T-Mobile in the US, try flashing one of the old baseband fixes.

try using LGDMP to just flash a new baseband. thats what i did and works perfectly

If you are aiming at ICS, then I'll recommend using a uclb3 odin or heimdall pack. You can find those in the iset thread stickied on the development section.
You probably will also need to flash GB bootloaders.

i have tried to search in the forums and google and could not find a original version of froyo for ROGERS P925G (VERY IMPORTANT)
why? because i have tried flashing v21e and the phone is not usable, tried ICS from xsball its reallly cool but phone or internet doesnt work... so i found a original GB 2.3.5 with v20e in it (WITH GHOST CALLS !!!)
now i want to put back the original froyo but there is nothing that i could find.
i need a bin file for use with LG FLASH TOOL , it is the only way to flash something on this stupid rogers phone!!
anyone have any clues?

i read alot that V21E have corrected the ghost call issue, i tried to flash it and then bricked my phone!
is there a v21e specific to rogers??? , i mean that will work for sure with a P925G rogers edition
like i said i tried flashing a V21E but bricked the phone in a bootloop, perhaps i didnt do the right thing hmmmm
and will 4G work? hmmm many questions!

I'm using normal v21e on my P925g just fine. Worked with every Canadian carrier.

I think you may got a bad flash.
I am using 21e on my rogers P925G, working very well.
i use lgfkashtools
its the only method that worked for me at this moment and someone gave me a kdz to bin converter so im gonna try again someday

hi my friends i have a problem about 3g at my skyrocket. i have root my phone 3-4 times before everything was good. But after last root i can not change the network mode. it is working only at 2G , i was using 3G before but not now. what is the problem ? i tried some ways as root to custom rom.i rooted my phone 5 times for different roms after this problem but no solution has been founded. i can not have a solution.network mode not working. Anyone can help me ? i will upload a video about this problem soon.

Thank you jd1639 i have solved the problem. format and flash to the stock rom by odin then 3g and H+ come again. Actually stpck rom must be flash by odin , i have learnt that.
i am using jellybam now,it is working fine.
