Hacking around in apks of latest ICS leak, found a self test mode.
Dial *#7353# (i.e. *#self#) to bring of the self test menu.
For what it's worth...
BTW, UltraCfg is hidden from the apps drawer in UCLD2 build. Just dial *#638# to bring it up.
Neither of those do anything for me

Worked for me. Kinda cool to see those functions. How did you figure out the combos?

Apktool to decode them, then check the android manifest xml. Codes are listed there. ServiceModeApp.apk has got a ton of codes for debugging and dumping, checking them out now.
It doesn't work on CM9. Sucks, what does it do anyways?

No one knows the codes?? :/
In order to find the secret codes for the Samsung Skyrocket, you will need to follow the steps listed below
1. Open a web browser
2. Enter www.google.com into the address bar and access the Google website
3. In the Google search bar, enter the following "Samsung Skyrocket Secret Codes" (minus the " " of course)
4. View the search results
5. Select the search result that best matches your search request
At this particular moment in time, the the best search result is the 5th one listed (the one directly above the search result indicating your post requesting the secret codes for the Samsung Skyrocket)
Don't forget to slap the Thanks button if I've helped.
Ya I searched Google before posting here. None work for me? At best after entering it says "USSD RUNNING" then a fail window pops up.

Can I use one of these to enter an "unlock" code for the phone? I know it wouldn't unlock the phone itself (a code is needed), but I wonder if it will get to the screen to do it on?
It is my understanding that a "sim" card from another carrier must be inserted into the SkyRocket to access the "unlock phone" screen. But if one of these codes can be used it will save me the trouble of having to get a T-Mobile sim. All of this is "if" I can get an unlock code...ofcourse. Has anyone unlocked their phone via one of these codes? I understand there is a limitted number of attempts and I don'y want to try one of these codes to get to the "unlock" screen if it doesn't work. Thanks.

I guess not. I tried and it says "unable to process request". So I think the only way to do it is to put a different networks sim card into the phone (ie T-Mobile).
How is it that I missed this extremely useful post? Many thanks to the OP, I just started looking for a good list of codes and found this. Bump worthy.

Hi!
I have CM9 installed in my Skyrocket, and these codes don't seem to work (except for #*#*INFO*#*#). I've been told they only work with stock ROM. Do you know if there is a way to make them work in CM9?
Nope
Sent from my SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Most of these codes don't work. First of all any dialer code longer than 12 digits doesn't work, at least not in CM10. For example using *#*#4636#*#*, the last * in this entry triggers the entry and you're in that menu. Where did these come from, what source?
*#60# IMEI should be *#06#
There's also *#0*# which will open a full hardware diagnostic screen.
Can anyone confirm that *#*#4636#*#* works on the STOCK build of UCFL6? I think AT&T might've disabled it.

the reason that some codes are coming up invalid is because you're not using a stock dialer. most codes wont work unless you're on touchwiz

As stated in another thread for the SCH-I535 the codes were disabled long ago. If your on the 4.4.2 NE1 update then your out of luck. There is no way to re-enable them

U have to unlock it by using a file explorer i.e. ES File Explorer. Go to /efs then carrier, then hidden menu and change text from OFF to ON. Then codes will work. Need root too*

Use an app like Shortcut master lite to access those codes.

didn't work for me, but thanks anyway..
I called Samsung, who couldn't figure this out, recommended that I will take it to best buy as they have a tech there.

They still work. I got 4.4.2.
Keep in mind that you got a completely different model then the I9505. These codes are for the I9505 and might not work on your device.
Are you rooted? If not then that's the reason shortcut lite won't work.
You will probably find more answers here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303905
