So i was reading the description of the app and it said that it will not work with the terminal that came with the rom and had to reinstall it, so i try to delete it and dun dun dunnn.
the tf stops functioning properly, terminal will not start, nor any other I download.

I used the app Android Ubuntu Installer that show you some steps,
Installed

First question: Did you just download ubuntu 10.10, because that will NOT work on an ARM processor, you must get the ARM processor version. If you try to update the ARM processor version from within itself, it will break, so make sure that isn't the case first.
Your VNC client seems Wayy out of date, for two. Also I see a error message, do you have more than 255 apps installed? That messes up the loop and makes it unable to mount the .img to where it can display via VNC. Finally, try a newer ROM with busybox preinstalled and reinstall your terminal app etc, it'll probably fix any issues you have with it all.
P.S. That method of Ubuntu is REALLY slow, so natively dual booting would be much faster, if you're willing to set it up.

How to install:
Make sure you have "install from unknown sources" checked on settings.
Different methods
A) Download to PC, then upload to dropbox, and download to phone.
B) Use ADB:
Code:
adb install -r com.android.vending-1.apk
C) Mount USB to computer, dragg .apk file to sd card. Unmount, use a file manager and install.
Enjoy!
Thanks.

Is the Movies section on this? I installed the new Market a few days ago and it doesn't have the Movies section included...
Just installed this... Haven't rebooted yet, but so far it seems to run very slowly... Getting 'not responding' messages nearly every time I touch the screen. Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon, because I sort of like the idea of book and movie downloads.
Edit: Just gave it a minute, it's running faster now, but I don't see a movies section on this one either... Bummer.
Edit: It seems that movies section doesn't show if you have a rooted device - see the outpouring of rage here.
Nope not true.. I'm rooted and the movie sections shows up and works fine.
Locked & Loaded
I downloaded it, installed, and can't get on. It has a instant force close. Any ideas?
Wipe data in app manger. Then boot into recovery and wipe cache and davlik-cache and try it again.

Am trying to root GHT Maestro
ADB cannot find the device with the ADB devices command. However, I can mount the SD Card for file transfer and can use WonderShare MobileGo to manage the phone!
Here is the hardware profile screenshot

I believe it is because the SDK can't find the correct ADB USB driver!
Installed software environment
a. Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate x64
b. Android SDK;
c. Java SDK;
d. Java Run Time;
I successfully ROOTed and installed Android 4.0 ICS on Amazon Kindle Fire through BurritoRoot3 last night but this one has no reference on the web for the correct USB driver information for ADB!
Can someone help me ROOTing this phone please? Thanks in advance.
Finally found it, was so easy! Can't believe this.
Just grab the GHT Phone Suite from the official site, install it and yes... ADB now finds the phone connected
Note: I preserved the drivers installed by GHT Phone Suite, later uninstalled the GHT Phone Suite, updated drivers for the phone with the preserved drivers from GHT and ADB failed again to find the phone! Looks like you need to have the GHT Phone Suite installed for the ADB to work with this phone.
Hello. Recently I got my hands on this device. Never had experience with flashing Roms/kernels but did my research and got familiar enough to explain the problem.
The phone is very slow and unresponsive. I have checked and it is rooted. So I decided to flash new ROM to it, CM11 ROM + OnePlus One Conversion Kit for Nexus S. However, there is a warning:
"YOU HAVE TO USE CWM Recovery 6.0.4.3 or HIGHER otherwise you will fail during install and other problems will occur!!! You can easily update to latest CWM Recovery by using ROM Manager from Play Store."
So I downloaded ROM Manager to update it and that's where the problems started that I do not know how to deal with, and I don't want to risk bricking. ROM Manager installs fine, but when entering gives following message from first image.
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So when I tried to ignore that and update it anyway, got a message with error, which resulted in red triangle when booting into recovery. After a while system loads up as usual, phone is working but painfully slow. So if anyone is kind enough to help me restore it to working condition? What to do?
I found it always easier to use the fastboot method. This method it quite primitive and thus might have less problems. Mainly one makes sure that fastboot is installed on the PC (this is ridiculously simple for Linux, but I don't know about and am not interested in Windows), connects the device via USB, boots it to bootloader and issues some commands on the PC to push all parts of the so called "ROM" directly to the device.
And: I used the latest version of TWRP which is similar to CWM, but prettier.
I installed the "Bliss OS v11.4 stable official ..... iso" file on the C: disk without any problem. I installed it with the file "androidx86-Installv26.0003.exe" in the iso file. For minutes when I start BlissOS, I am facing the animation in the photos. It's at least 30 minutes like this.

These photos are also the photos I took from the starting animations stuck in different BlissOS versions. I don't really know what to do as I don't understand much about the linux system.
There is clearly an issue with Bliss OS doing this. V11.10 stable does the same when installed onto a surface book. The live usb boots every time. installed onto a 16GB Ext4 partition it boots first time only, after that it starts to boot and just sits on the Bliss logo.
I have no such issue rebooting Androidx86_64 CM or 9r2 or PheonixOs when installed to the same location.
Unfortunately it seems there is also an issue with the way Androidx86 Pie which I first noticed in Bliss 11.10 deals with games such as War Planet Online being able to launch. This is a permission related issue as on first launch of such games they download additional game files to storage but cannot do so due to a permission issue that seems is not fixable by an end user. I noticed the same issue on Androidx86 9 R2 which I guess Bliss 11.10 is based upon.
OK the Bliss being stuck on animation logo after first boot could be related to SU getting updated on first boot.
