DONT USE DARKSIDE SCRIPT WIPE

1.Wipe factory data reset ....3 times
2.go to mounts and format system 3 times
3.then install the rom..
3A.when finished.. immediately install busybox cwm zip below
4.then go back and reboot system now
5.Then let it settle atleast 5 min...select a launcher
..
6.then continue to let it finish...and dont touch anything until screen times out !!!!!
(if you have alot of pictures it will take a few minutes longer to media scan)
7.open rom manager and fix permissions
8.Reboot back to recovery[/CENTER]
3.AFTER INSTALLING BASE AND INSTALLING THE LATEST UPDATE

1.Clear cache partition
2.Go to Advanced, click clear Dalvik cache
3.Find Latest Sky Ics Update.zip
4.Install and reboot when finished
5.open up Rom Manager and run Fix permissions
6.One last reboot and Voila!!!!

Just make sure to wipe a few more times and clear your dalvik if

Basically you need to do a few things
1.step one install modem of choice (see below)
2.Reboot phone to android and go to
settings/more/mobile networks/access point names
then click bottom left haptic button and say reset to default
Att users should have ATT PTA
Now click bottom left haptic button followed by Add apn
now either copy exactly what comes up in your apn Again and hit save
or for ATT

Everything you need is on your sd card (only if youve updated to 4.2-7)
Open Smanager
and browse with root permissions
then look on your external sd card under Zmods
you will find V6 Supercharger script
open it and click the superuser button above and then click run
Now i have updated Su and Services.jar has been hacked to allow this
script to run with ICS
It will basically take about 5 or more minutes
and run you through a series of prompts
i usually take its suggestions.. i set the superminkiller settings
i turn on set emissions
i allow it to run scripts as necessary .. These are all up to
you and it being a guided install once complete.. your good to Go

i just got rid of my iphone 4 and bought the skyrocket on ATT for 150$ ! new and i all must say is this phone is beast i just notice i cant edit or add widgets on any of my pages theres only 2? any ideas also 4g icon is gone
so flashed the rom. here is so far what I've got the Rom is pretty much running fine no 4GLTE icon or 4g, stays on a 3g never changing now i checked phone status under mobile network type it says LTE and i can confirm LTE speeds of 55MBPS whick is great but seeing that 3g icon phucks with the mind..lol the swype issue does work with the instuctions given by DEV.. BUT on reboot swype goes blah again with just FC'S
so fix the LTE icon and that swype issue and this WILL be the best ROM out so far...

just was playing around with cm7 the past 3 days
and this is what ive come up with

so i dunno
Please follow my directions 100% or else i cant help you
they will be clear and easy to read,but do not miss a step ..
even if you think you know.....you probably shouldnt have skipped it then
im also not going to be obvious to save space
download everything and put in on your sd card
and you should know by now to have a backup
DIRECTIONS DONT SKIP
(unless you are tmobile and have an apn skip step 15)

1..Boot to clockwork
2. Factory data reset
3. under mounts format system
4. choose Cyanotouchwiz.zip
5. when done reboot system now
6 there will be 6 to 9 seconds of black (scripts)
then the boot animation.... the boot will be quick
(if it doesnt boot past samsung screen
pull battery and get back into clockwork
flash da_g kernel (provided below) and reboot
and continue down the list
7. wait for sd cards to read
then choose launcher of choice and set default (not permanent)
8.once the launcher has finished loading
open up theme chooser in the app drawer
and choose ics and apply..
Ignore what it says and apply
(ive supplied what was missing)
already installed so just say accept
9 now go back to your home screen and hit settings
and then navigate to cyanogen mod settings
10. choose interface
11. then choose notification power widget
12. scroll down to indicator color and select it
13. when the pick a color screen comes up
type in #ff00b2ff (zeros not O's)
and tap the color in the middle to select it
14. now back out and go to
wireless networks/mobile networks/accesspoint names
and hit the bottom left haptic button and say new apn

19. lastly open up rom manager and run a fix permissions then reboot

i'm having problems installing this rom i'm following the instructions on how to install this rom carefully but i'm stuck at the boot screen i've been installing roms since the g1 first came out i'm no noob to this i'm a veteran to this lol i've install every custom rom on the skyrocket and was successful but this one i can't seem to install this one for some reason i did everything you said from 1 - 6 i'm stuck at the samsung boot screen and it does nothing please help

1.Clear cache partition
2.Go to Advanced, click clear Dalvik cache

Heres how to Swap internal and External Sd Cards
Here is the modded vold.fstab for swapping internal memory with external memory.
(This allows you to use your sd card (upto 32-64gb) for apps instead of being stuck with just 11gb)
Two methods to applying this-
1) use adb or root explorer, delete your current vold.fstab in system\etc and replace with the one i have provided.
2) RECOMMENDED Open up your roms zip/rar file and delete vold.fstab in system\etc and replace with the provided one.
(This way is PREFERRED because then your ROM will be started from scratch with this storage configuration)

almost all things are half way done brother.. extended menu is out there, power 14-15 toggles, reboot/shutdown issue fixed/radio,kernels basebands done, except faux's kernel, and aosp lockscreen i saw on your project is something you might wanna think twice, me & alphadog ripped that apart and he changed codes around to get it going to = failure what samsung has done with this rom or lets not hope for this ics or any future releases is that aosp lockscreen in smali its been turned into two touchwizes , you'll see when u do .smali you'll rip your hair out like we did ..but yah if anything gimme a shout on [email protected]

and also the latest update .an email package
and whatever other mods and add ons you like
and a radio if you are coming from gb
-reboot into team win recovery
-wipe system
-factory data reset
-then go to mounts and choose external sd
-no go back and find the rom by choosing install zip
-swipe to confirm
-then install the radio you downloaded
and when complete reboot phone
-at this point everything will be settling and caching
which may or may not seem laggy.... and yes that white line is normal
its a battery representation mod
-im sure youll be eager to update busybox immediatly but let me tell you no
first open super user app.. find preferences and update user binary
hit it twice giving it root permissions
now .. is when to update busy box through the provided installer
-after you have done this
-power down phone
reboot into recovery and flash the latest update
and email package only
-reboot phone
now
-go into settings/ and applications.. and find rom manager
clear, app cache and data for that app
-now open up rom manager and press fix permissions
give it root

It's actually not IP based but cookies based, so basically you can just wipe cookies/ go into and out of private browsing and vote as much as you want.
I already voted like 10 times to test it :X

LOL, I had it downloaded and was about 10 secs from flashing. I was saved by Metalsucks where my attention was again diverted. BTW, anyone else see Zappa's eyes lookin back?
