i want to know what is the difference between cyanogen and cyanogenmod .?
I believe that cyanogenmod was based on a Rom called cyanogen, wich to my knowledge is now nonexistent.

Cyanogen is the handle of the guy who first started working on a modified version of the Android Open Source Project. Cyanogen + 'mod' == Cyanogenmod.

Can such a zip be created by which the multitasking of ICS is ported to other roms just by flashing?

The multi-tasking is part of the framework, its threaded into the whole ICS base, you cant just make it work on another ROM like that no.
So I'll have to wait for ICS then huh? Any idea how good the alpha Is?

I was just wondering that now that we have a custom kernel( a few actually)? is cyanogenmod possible for our device?
No It Stucks On Boot Already Tried By Devs And Triers

We have kernel sources but we need android sources so i think its difficult to get cm im not sure about it.
Sent from my A110 using xda app-developers app
No it is impossible for now to get CM.
Because android framwork sources are missing. And the most important one is RIL if someone manages to boot cm it will be of no use.
