I'm looking into WPA2 cracking. The biggest problem is I don't think the Desire S supports packet Injection.

Turns out WPA2 cracking is almost out of the question

I've just flashed. NO network for me. Tried to search for networks manually but gave me error while searching for networks. 10 secs later found network itself. Just wanted to let you know.
just trying this out right now.....
edit: just to confirm, Bluetooth doesn't turn on and the Camcorder doesn't work. Also, there is quite a bit of flickering on the rom....but I'm not sure how much of this is due to a cracked digitizer....
Nice and minimalistic Rom with AKOP tweaks, though wifi tether and bluetooth isnt working.

Uhhhh, really nice
Thanks for the early comments guys, for all those that kept supporting me (Simplistic Plus), much respect and its an honor to be back.
More ICS ROMS are awesome
Very interesting.
I think its an idea to help with fixing the last bugs and than considering making your own ROM based on Ice Cream Sandwich.
Keep up the good work however, it took a while.. Your other topic was "under construction"
Hey Durch, great to see a new Rom from you. Perhaps this can replace Simplistic Plus Final I as my Rom of daily use. Hail to the King, Baby

It's good to see You again! Simplistic was my first and the best light custom rom. Now I'm waiting for download links this going to be awesome
PS is it possible to return to stock ics music apk? I personally don't like Apollo.

omg hes back !
my phone runs still with simplistic plus !
you rock !
And I thought you're not interested in making rom anymore, it's such a nice surprise. I'm gonna test it as soon as you post download links .
Goooooood to see you back
Now i'll try my first cm9 rom when it's available for download...which brought something in my mind...mod's are gonna lock this topic aka it's not allowed to have rom post in dev section without download link
Its better to release the ROM along with the new forum, better than waiting for a whole 24hrs :silly:
Wow Dutch.ly TNX
Download link?..
At least! Glad to see you back Dutch! Can't wait to test your new project.
why did you open the theard if you don't have a download link?:|
Good to see your project stills on xda.
I really like the simplistic project, now it will be updated to ICS, great!
Is there any info about battery life ? Is it better than original cm9 ?
What is your thought at "better"? It has excellent 'deep sleep' and for me the battery lasts long enough for CM9 standards. I did tweak some functions that 'should' give the battery some more juice though. I am testing the final BETA 1 build now and it will release 'soon' so stay tuned!

It's based from CyanogenMod 10, 4.1.2, Jellybean. I will be keeping up with the official X-UI, as well as adding my own stuff to the ROM. Thanks.
anyone having issues getting the rom to download on PC ?
This is indeed a very light ROM (300 mb free ram after first boot) and it's fast and resposiv. But there are still some Chinese text here and there, even after i choose English language (UK). Godt FC a few places in Settings and Developer option and Performance.
But best off all is the cool new features and new approaches to different things, eg. the secnond screen in Notifications.
The very light theme is a matter of taste, but it'sis certainly not like the inverted gapps.
I think it's still to early to be used as a day-to-day Rom, but absolutely has potential!
Why don't you just help MIUI's team instead of making the same rom?
Just asking :/

ROM installs and runs fine. No sistemui FC after switching to dark mode. Not even after installing thyrus's kitkat dark theme
Not too many options present in the ROM yet but things will get better in the future I am sure.
Camera works and has some additional settings, still HDR mode is not in yet.
Overall good ROM but it doesn't have anything special. Looks like an CM11 with a dark switch

So far the battery life is great on my personal build. This is my daily driver as well.
I download zip for unlocked version(couse I have unlocked phone) and I install it but my phone stuck on boot logo...
Thanks for the feedback.
Links have been pulled temporarily
I pulled the Metro-PCS and Unlocked variant Alpha builds due to them being stuck on boot animation.
Stay tuned for updates.
I'm so happy that someone is giving some attention to this device! Following this thread and can't wait until you hit a stable build .
Quick Update:
I have spoken with numerous users here at XDA over the past few days. What I've gathered is a large network of information that we will be compiling about our devices.
I apologize about the Alpha builds boot issues and hope to solve this issue very soon. While having a "Stock/Debloated" ROM is a good starting point for the Desire 530 community, I think it would be in our best interest to focus on AOSP.
If you have any questions or concerns, please Join Us On Hangouts and show your support.
Thanks and keep posted.
