Have you tried reflashing recovery using adb?

same problem, trying to solve it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24776300&posted=1#post24776300

if your bootloader is unlocked it should say : “LOCK STATE – UNLOCKED”.
If you have a dead android and exclamation mark, it is the stock recovery. Press volume down + power button + volume up, in order. This will give you the stock recovery.
For some reason the new ICS update still has the 2.3.6 security.
use this http://nexusshacks.com/nexus-s-hacks/how-to-force-your-nexus-s-into-clockworkmod-recovery/
to flash CWM Recovery

Can't get to recovery mode (TWRP)
Hello everyone. I got this phone for a year now and works really nice. I decided to start to mess around with it a little and managed to install TWRP 2.8.1 in it.
The non-sense is that I can only get into TWRP once inside android and use Uncletools or similar to boot into recovery mode. With key combinations I cannot get to it.
Vol Down + Power goes into Factory Mode as screenshot shows.

You need to install TWRP Recovery through ODIN
you need to install custom recovery (google it)

GT-N8013 can't access to teamwin recovery

Hi! I have the tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013 and I want to install a new ROM. First I installed TWRP with odin and then I tried to go to recovery mode but it never appears. When I press the power button and volume up, I just access to the Android System Recovery.
