Sense Weather Live Wallpaper - HTC One S

I have noticed that the weather live wallpaper stops it's animation after opening any app on the phone.
Am I the onely one having this problem ?

Same here would be nice if it works....

The 'live' wallpaper seems to animate completely randomly.
It doesnt animate when the phone is unlocked.
It doesnt animate when the weather is updated.
It doesnt animate when you return to the home screen.
The only time I've seen it animate by itself is after it has automatically updated itself.
TBH it's getting a bit boring now. I might ditch the fancy colours and go for something black which should have a significant effect on increasing battery life.

HDWall + Animated Weather Problem

Hi all, I've installed a wallpaper using HDWall and now whenever I turn on my phone and it shows the rainy animation (wiping water off the screen) it shows it on a black background that covers my wallpaper until it has faded.
The top and bottom bars are transparent, so I can still see my wallpaper at the edges.
On the weather page itself the animation does not create a black screen behind it, it just wipes my actual wallpaper.
Does anyone have any ideas how I might resolve this or make it work like the weather page?
Thanks!
I have the same problem.
using stock rom 1.66.

[REQ] Screen Saver App

When the phone is docked/plugged in and "stay awake" is checked, the screen saver app would come on and display a pre-determined live wallpaper. All the foreground objects (icons, widgets, status bar) would disappear, leaving just the live wallpaper to do its thing.
Seems simple enough. Is there any existing app that does this? I searched the market and couldn't find anything.
Further advancement to this app can include customizations to the screen saver beyond a live wallpaper, such as displaying the time, displaying news/RSS feeds, making your foreground objects bounce around, anything like that. It would make my phone much cooler when sitting on the desk at work, rather than staring at a blank, dead screen.
I'd like this also!

[Q] lock screen circle clock - I want it gone

How does one remove that ugly ass circle clock from the lock screen? I guess I dotn care about the clock part but the circle part just doesn't flow with the rest of the stuff on the lockscreen.
OK. The honest part is my ocd hates that thing and I bothers the crap out of me every time I see it.
Enable widgets on the lock screen in Lock Screen settings. Lock the phone and unlock it. You'll then get the option to add a widget. Add the clock widget or any other preferred widget.
Try this

On the lock screen, long press the circle clock and drag it to the top to remove. Then click the plus sign on the screen to add the widget of your choice. Hope this helps.

Turn off weather on homescreen

Is it possible to turn off the weather display on the home screen widget with the Pixel launcher?
I prefer the date widget that was originally there, since I use a different weather app. The fact that they display slightly different temps bugs me.
Thanks.

Transparent Bar At Top of Screen

Just got an S7 about a month ago, and it's all been smooth-sailing until this morning.
I was browsing through my gallery when I noticed a transparent bar at the top of the screen, where the Status Bar usually is (The Status Bar is hidden in the Gallery app when viewing pictures). This bar is consistent throughtout all apps on the phone, including on the home screen, and the notification bar. It's a different shade to the rest of the phone, with the look of the image "behind" the bar being distinctly different from that of the rest of the screen. I really don't know how to describe it. This is driving me crazy, because it's a new phone and I'm not sure if this is issue is software-related (an overlay of some sort) or a problem with the actual screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: The phone has been dropped once, but it wasn't major enough to cause something like this to happen (I think).
EDIT: The transparent bar is exactly the same size as the status bar.
Sounds like burn-in, nothing you can do other than replace the screen
Happens to Amoled screens when you leave the same image in the same place on the screen for extended lengths of time / high brightness
It's what screensavers were designed for PCs back in the days of green screens
Sounds an awful lot like what happened to my moms phone recently and it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Maybe you accidentally took a screenshot and made that your wallpaper. So see if changing the wallpaper makes it go away.

OP says the bar is showing even inside of apps
