Someone has the HBoot 1.18.0000 S-OFF revolutionary?
I can't find it.

There is only one zip for ALL supported phones and hboot versions! I posted the direct link above since you seem to be just a little confused. Here it is again:

Yes I understand but I look for someone who has installed the latest update from HTC and then used Revolutionary, so he can make a copy of HBoot 1.18.0000

Download also contains radio and other firmware updates, just extract the hboot and do with it what you will. BTW once you run revolutionary that hboot gets replaced by the hacked revolutionary hboot so getting it from a device that ran revo is pointless!

He wants someone who ran the revolutionary exploit on the latest hboot to make a copy for him to flash.
But iirc, the latest revolutionary downgrades you back to 1.17 so trying to get a 1.18 is futile.

whats difference between 1.17 and 1.18?

Actually I've got S-Off and Hboot 1.18 and if someone tells me how to extract it I would do it but I don't know how to do

You must have flashed the update after you got s-off which is fine but then you'll be missing out because fastboot cmds are not enabled in the stock hboot.

So there's no option to have hacked HBOOT 1.18.0000/1.18.1111 with revoultionary? Only option is downgrade to 1.17.1111?

You can S-Off it on 2.3.3 and update it OTA. I think it's the only way right now

Is this safe? Any info about differences in 1.18 / 1.17?
Btw my phone is sent to HTC because I did some mistake and bricked it.
When it will be back with OTA 2.3.4 then downgrade to 2.3.3 -> S-OFF -> upgrade 2.3.4? It will be safe?

did you try it more than once? took me 3 or 4 times with one of the phones i rooted with revolutionary...

I try it more then 20x :-(
And found other people, who have same problem.

I don't think it has anything to do with the OTA... I just S-OFF'd my mother's brand new Sensation 2 days ago. It was running the same bootloader/software as you stated. Just trying to help you narrow it down...

I have tried factory reset, change PC, new drivers, reinstal old drivers, nothing helped

It look´s like, that HTC blocked revolutionary, so i looking forward to new release

Make sure you rename ruu to PG58IMG.zip reboot into bootloader it will auto update just like flashing new radio.

Well, it´s not so easy.
It's branded Sensatoin and the RUU isn't on web.
If I try to flash original europe ruu, i get error.

there is one t-mob ruu for german sensations.. but it doesnt match..

Very odd problem indeed. When htc returned my phone to me they flashed it up from 1.45 to 1.50.206.x and it was branded to o2, but again I used revolutionary to unlock & had no problems.

I'm surprised the the EU versions don't work cause theirs a bunch. If you have guts try older ruu like 1.35 and under don't try 1.45. If not sell it get EU version.

[Q] How can i root my Sensation XE after the latest OTA update?? (hboot 1.18)

I did the OTA update and now whenever i run revolutionary, it says failed to get root... I have been searching for an answer for about 2 weeks and still nothing!! Hope u guys can help I have all the drivers installed and i disable antivirus, but still nothing -_-

to flash the ARHD you need the 3.32 fw which is the ics one and then if you want warranty back you just need to run a RUU from your pc...there are a lot of guides out there that teach how to unroot....

I tried to flash the Gingerbread RUU over ICS and it did not work for me, so I just flashed the 1.17.1100 hboot and use my backup of gingerbread that was rooted and then I ran the RUU and it worked for me.

Hello everyone i am new to this forum and also just got sensation a week back even i want to root and flash custom roms available here but i also have same problem cant root because of my hboot version 1.18.0000 and same Rom 1.52.720.3.
I tried revolutionary tool but it said failed to get root i know its because of my hboot version but i dont know what to do to S-OFF.

you need to use taccoroot.bin to get temp root and then use revolutionay

Yes thanks for the reply it worked i used tacoroot.bin in adb setup and rooted my phone and super cid also.
Now i have installed latest ARHD ICS update working superb brilliant mod love every moment and lots of thanks to mike and his team really awesome rom.

Plzzzzzz help somebody after doing taccoroot my phone is just showing htc logo and nothing more...plZz HELP WITH SOME IDEAS

[Q] Want to try JB ROMs don't know what to do next.

Hi I'm a noob and I don't know what to do next. I have a T-Mobile Sensation 4G that I S-offed using revolutionary before taking the ICS update but I really don't know what to do next.
Attached is what my Hboot shows right now.
I have read this forum and several of the how to guides but it's not clear to me what my next step is.
I assume I need to unlock the bootloader next but can someone explain to me how to do it using either the KGS tool or the Hansoon2000 tool without using HTCDev, (they keep saying registration is closed).
Next am I supposed to flash a recovery? SuperCID? Flash PG58IMG.zip? Root?
Could you please list the exact order I'm supposed to these steps in? It's very confusing.

S-off that's good. Now unlock it via HTC-DEV Website (very easy 5-10min)
Root the phone then install 4ext recovery APK
then install any rom you want

Is there a way to unlock bootloader without using HTCDev? From reading the board it's simplied the HTCDev off is not a full (or real) unlock. Unless they are saying the bootloader is unlocked but it remains S-on.

Flash engg hboot .. use kgs utility for that .
There is option to install eng hboot in kgs utility
After that flash 4ext recovery , then root device.
All options is there in kgs utility..

HTCDev still hasn't sent me an email so I can't confirm my address yet. By Engineering HBOOT you mean option 10 in the KGS utility right?

Ok I will try that when I have some free time. Flashing an Engineering HBOOT on an S-OFF stock sensation should be safe right? What about super CID and firmware?

U already have latest firmware ... Vs 3.3x , dont need another , all jelly bean custom Rom work with ics firmware
Cid for flashing carrier independent ruu
It is good to have ability to install any ruu.
So get super cid ..
