There are two methods : fastboot (boot.img & system.img) without erasing recovery and flashing via recovery, but you lost your recovery.

Sense-o-Maniac - Cleaning mission:
I hear you ask "Whats the purpose of a new Sense 3.5 rom"
Well I have a philosophy that a rom should be stock look and feel all the time.
But also has to be clean as far as possible, i only want apps and services which i need.
Thats why i keep it stock and bloatware free.
I really mean bloatware free, my purpose is to minimize the rom to the bone but i must still be a fully functional Sense rom
Where user can chose and install there own apps.
Although i wanna keep it clean i will develop it overtime with just little tweaks for speed and memory improvement
This version has been cleaned to the bone.
Still some work to do but it's a fully functional Sense rom.

Install Notes:
SuperCID your phone first (Read @Step4 how to)
Download the latest S-o-M ICE rom and put on your sdcard.
Download PG58IMG firmware, put it on your sd-card (Download)
Now flash the new firmware by booting into your bootloader (if connected to your pc select bootloader and press powerbutton)
Follow the onscreen instructions for flashing the new firmware
Now flash the rom zip via your recovery. (No need to full wipe, the installer does the job)

If you run a custom kernel and experience FCs on camera: Go to settings -> manage apps -> select all -> Camera - > and press "clear data"
Although it works the edit button isn't visible in HTC Album

What do mean by Superwipe?
Do you mean the Superwipe script?
The superwipe script doesn't clear all data.
You also have to do a full wipe in de recovery menu.
But i can only guess what you did.
So please give me more information also what Sensation do you have "Sensation or Sensation 4G for example"

looks great is the weather lockscreen thing a 3.5 only thing? would love that on sensation!
I'm sorry to say, and yet this may be to early. But as of today I will no longer be handling MIUI and moving too something better like CM7, ICS, or run MIUI-Singh-UI. I'm going to be busy after that week going to Senior Prom, Getting a job, going to college, etc.
I am really going to miss all the great experience I've seen in other users. I did this for fun, and not for the donations to keep me going or motivation like some developers. But they are better than me and I give thanks to them for doing so. They need it the most.
So goodbye G2x community, well goodbye RG2x

NEW BOOT ANIMATION
So thanks to Whitehawkx article on, "How to Port O2x Miui to G2x", I've updated the MIUI to the latest version as I'm a HUGE MIUI FAN!! Basically I'm new to this so please bare with me as I learn some of this new developing stuff. I will be including tweaks from the O2x as an Addon later

2. Place in SD Card
3. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
4. Make backup (if have another ROM installed / if not skip 5 & 6)
5. Wipe /data(Factory Reset)
6. Format /system in Mounts & Storage
7. Install via SD Card & flash FAUXMIUI_RG2xV2.3.24.zip or STOCKMIUI_RG2xV2.3.24.zip
8. Go to Advanced and select "Wipe Dalvik Cache".
9. Reboot & Enjoy

I want to eventually put a new rom on a G2X, but I really want one with a great camera. Has this rom fixed the camera issue for MIUI? I've read in other threads that the CM7 camera is the best for this phone.

so far.....GPS locks in under 10 seconds, and everything looks good except the miui camera (not only on this rom). but to fix i always flash CM7 camera for miui.

Yeah CM7 camera is easy to flash in there, just search for it in the forums. Also this is Faux CM

CM7 camera is flashable...what??? Awesome. Must go find the zip. Right now the camera I am using is the stock gingerbread one, which is just atrocious. Tomorrow I'll be flashing this and just wanted to do my homework and have everything prepared.

Just depends on how you use your phone. I recently got up to 18hrs on my phone, on heavy texting, medium browsing, and facebooking
How about bravia hack with cm7 cam .. not trying to.hijack thread, but wanted to do rom myself too..
Reason cm7 cam is preferred cuz miui cam has shutter lag n cm7 app is better.

Dear Boys and Girls as user of the Elegancia Roms Series,
It's a sad day for Elegancia.
Don't gonna discuss it in detail here.
But just had a 4hr Gtalk chat with m0narx in which i made a very personal decision.
I hate to give up, but i had to.
You all know that we use the Tweaks app for over 3 months now.
As said i had the permission to use the Sense 4 look app.
But there is a problem, m0narx decide to withdraw his permission.
And it's his word against mine although i have good arguments and backuped pm chats with him.
I could chat for another 4hr to prove i'm right.
But his is a never ending story.
There for i made a decision.
Since it's his word against mine.
And i want to be a happy Dev and not one who is constantly in a fight to prove i'm right.
I wanna cook for fun and not being in war every day.
So the next version of Elegancia - Sense 4.1 will be without the tweaks app.
m0narx withdrawed his permission and i take my loose.
As Elegancia can run perfect and nice without the Tweaks.
I can only say for now that it is a pitty we loose this one.
But i'm also happy to say that i don't have to fight and just can continue to be a happy dev and not a fighting one.

Install Note for v3.6.0 or higher:
Make sure you meet all requirements mentioned in the previous post
Put the latest Sense 4.1 version on you SD-card
Make a Nandroid in Recovery (Just incase)
Just incase, backup your save games folder to your pc
S-ON users need to flash the boot.img for v5.0.0 or higher manually
S-ON users need to flash the 4ext touch recovery rc9 or higher manually
No need for Step 5 and 6 if you enable Smartflash in 4ext Recovery
Full wipe your device except your SD-Card in recovery wipe menu
Start Elegancia - Sense 4.1 Aroma installation
Choose desired Sense 4.1 rom version (Stock or colored themed)
Choose full-wipe option
Setup your rom installation and choose every desired app or mod to install
After installation your device will reboot.
First initial installation will take several minutes and colored version up to 15min
After first initial installation you must wait for 3 min to let the rom settle down
The reboot you device once more and your ready to go

FAQ's Tips and Tricks for ICS SENSE 4
- Helpful Tips and Suggestions! -Before flashing the rom make sure you read the changelog for your specific rom where Steve will state whether you need to perform a full wipe or not. If you install a rom using a different base from your current rom then a full wipe is recommended, but if it is listed as optional then it's your choice! However if a full wipe is not mandatory, you are still going to want to reboot into recovery and clean cache and clear dalvik cache before installing the new rom build. In addition if a full wipe is recommended and you did not do one and you are experiencing problems that other users are not reporting then please do a full wipe before reporting any problems.Formatting your µSD card is always a must, to do so a nice tool is available permitting to optimize them. Using generic formatting utilities may result in less than optimal performance for your memory cards. Find it HERE. Don't forget to press rorycs' THANKS button!After you install the rom, the first boot is going to take longer than normal (sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes). Similarly after you clear cache and dalvik, the reboot will take longer (likely not 10 minutes) but it will take longer than normal and you will see a message that Android is upgrading and all of your apps are being optimized.It is recommended that you give any newly installed rom time to settle in to build caches and to allow system files to settle down.After your device boots for the first time it is good to let it sit for 5-10 minutes before touching it (ie let it settle if you can). Once 5-10 minutes has passed pick it up and go through the setup procedure. Be sure to set up only email and google accounts at this time.
After setup is done click on Play Store and accept the terms. This will allow your device to populate all previously installed and backed up apps. A) Try unchecking all auto sync options and after that do "sync all". Circle should be removed from statusbar.
B) Go under Accounts & Sync then click Facebook and uncheck "LIVE STREAM". That's what's keeping your sync icon on.

It work but few glitches are still to be resolved. To have it worked, try this with the already cooked in 3rd party app named WiFi Tether. Open the program and click on Menu > Settings > in Device-Profile select Generic ICS > then select Change Setup-Method to WEXT (ad-hoc). It should work. You will have to reboot your phone if you close it to have it work again, this is the glitch about this method, but tether is working that way.
FIXED! THIS IS NO MORE REQUIRED IF YOU USE THE KERNEL INCLUDED WITH THE ROM, OTHERWISE THESE SETTINGS CAN BE HELPFUL. I don't know how can I verify MD5 Checksum of a file?

- Helpful Tips and Suggestions! -Before flashing the rom please read the changelog for your specific rom where Steve will state whether you need to perform a full wipe or not. If you install a rom using a different base from your current rom then a full wipe is recommended, but if it is listed as optional then it's your choice! However if a full wipe is not mandatory, you are still going to want to reboot into recovery and clean cache and clear dalvik cache before installing the new rom build. In addition if a full wipe is recommended and you did not do one and you are experiencing problems that other users are not reporting then please do a full wipe before reporting any problems in the thread.Formatting your µSD card is always a must, to do so a nice tool is available permitting to optimize them. Using generic formatting utilities may result in less than optimal performance for your memory cards. Find it HERE. Don't forget to press rorycs' THANKS button!After you install the rom, the first boot is going to take longer than normal (sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes). Similarly after you clear cache and dalvik, the reboot will take longer (likely not 10 minutes) but it will take longer than normal and you will see a message that Android is upgrading and all of your apps are being optimized.It is recommended that you give any newly installed rom time to settle in to build caches and to allow system files to settle down.After your device boots for the first time it is good to let it sit for 5-10 minutes before touching it (ie let it settle if you can). If you are coming from a stock rom there are many requirements, but first of all you need to S-off your device and you will also need a custom recovery....Look HERE for a guide on how to do this. Should your device have a newer hboot version (1.29.0000) then unfortunately this guide will not work and for now the only option available can be found HERE. Elegancia ROM's have the 4EXT custom recovery included, but for initial setup purposes please follow the guide.

The most likely problem is that you have not SuperCID'd your device before updating the firmware. You can find information on how to SuperCID your deviceHERE or look HERE for directions on how to flash the firmware if you prefer not to use SuperCID (thanks to Kohr-Ah). You may also find THIS POST useful! During the process your device will reboot a few times. Do not touch your device until instructed to do so. Once the instructions tell you to "reboot", remove your sd card and delete the PG58IMG.zip from the sd card on your PC or another device, then place sd card back into your device and THEN "reboot”.

It has to do with the Paginated/Non paginated tweak.
The following usually solves this issue :
1) Go to Leedroid Tweaks and select Sense/appdraw then select non paginated. Restart and select back paginated.

Yes, you should ALWAYS backup your rom and data before any changes. A good idea is to back up all your data and settings from the phone before flashing a new ROM with a full wipe as well. There are two ways to do this. You can use Titanium backup (or similar app) or do a Nandroid backup. Titanium can be found on the market (Play Store). Nandroid is when you back up from inside the recovery. Nandoid will give you an exact image of your rom, I prefer this method. If you just installed the ROM let it settle for a while system is still building. Give the ROM a couple of battery charge/discharge cycles. If after a couple of days you still see a large amount of drain check your settings and apps to see what's causing the drain. It's a stock kernel so you will not be able to change the frequency until HTC releases the source and someone builds a custom kernel.

Well I have been all over the forum looking for an answer. There are a couple sensation ICS roms with the fix but no one really saying anything about a TRUE fix....After running ICS for almost two days now I am liking it more and more. A little slow and a few bugs but nice, this tiny MMS issue is driving me nuts though.....Please Steve before putting out a new ICS can you look into fixing this please!?

No dice on that...I get sent a mms 98kb it comes in at 9-10kb. Guess ill try and experiment some more.
EDIT: If I hard press the pic from msg app and view as slideshow i can see full size but its distorted.

Shooting pic while recording a video aint working (Missing hardware issue)
How to check for updates (OTA):
Q: I noticed there is a update but can't find the link
A: Go to: Settings -> About phone -> Software updates -> Click on Check now
If there will be a update then you'll receive it and after downloading it will be installed automatically.
Don't have New OTA update notification:
Q: OTA seems to be out but don't have any notification
A: Reboot your device and check again (It seems Rom-Cleaner kill the OTA Support)
Don't have New OTA update notification:
Q: Sudden strange FC
s, malfunctioning apps, ect after restoring apps
A: It's know you can screw a rom up when restoring apps (TB for example)
So please avoid restoring System Apps, User apps can be restored but can also occasionally cause issues.
If you encounter issues try to undo the restore and do a fresh install of the app in question.

Have some bad, good and very good news to tell you...
First some good news:
It looks like Friday i can/will release v1.0.5 as a full rom.
With this rom is a Full Wipe needed.
A OTA aint available since there are to many changes (System Side) to make a OTA.
With this rom comes all fixes mentioned in this thread in the past two weeks.
I and four others tested these fixes without any issues.
Some very good news:
I have some very good news.
I think you all know Steve0007 from the Elegancia Rom series.
We have decided to co-develop Elegancia Roms
Two of us could bring more to users, so this is our main target in this Rom co-development
While building Sense-o-Maniac v1.0.5 from scratch I was thinking how to cook Elegancia.
I would spread the Sense-o-Maniac love (Less is More) to Elegancia.
And Elegancia would bring me also its love.
So we will bring all the following goodies to Elegancia: OTA feature, Tweaks app, Aroma options, kernel options and much more..
Thanks to the VillianTeam scrip, we will be able to bring the Elegancia stock look and the colored Rom into one single Rom !
Steve is helping me with the theming stuff since this aint my thing.
And to keep the overview i made a new Sense4.1 rom
Two roms into one zip, Since Elegancia is supporting two version (Colored and Stock) i choose this to have a better and easier way to bring OTA.
Now i can send one OTA for all version.
There for i needed to rewrite Aroma which nows contains a extra 7000 lines.
To keep the rom.zip as small as possible i make use of VRtheme.
The Theme package is just 38mb and can be applied when choosing the colored version.
The total rom.zip size is 593mb for two roms and all the goodies in one zip
Some bad news:
In order to keep my overview i will discontinue cooking finally for the following roms:
Sense-o-Maniac - Sense 3.5
Sense-o-Maniac - Sense 3.6
Sense-o-Maniac - DeSensed
What about the Sense 4.1?
Well i will maintain it until it's stable.
Also have some things one my ToDo list which has to be implanted.
When I will finally stop cooking?
Well until it's done that could be in a month but it could also be a year.
I will fix issues if users encounter them.
But there will come a time to rebase the rom or it's to old to maintain when no one uses it anymore.
My main focus will be on Elegancia and will be cooking for Sense-o-Maniac - Sense 4.1 until it's finished.

But the same problem, today mentioned: sweep2wake doesn't wake up my screen, only the buttonlights.
AND: Talk.apk doesn't work and i can't install it, it aborts with an unnamed error.
Any ideas?

perfect like sharm ^.^ but I have some bugs during installation. I've chose tweaks, but it didn't install. I've installed it later manualy. And one wish: put weather lock screen into weather section

Tweaks install just fine here.
Have a nice Leedroid icon in my appdrawer.
All the lockscreens are now bundled in one optional install folder.
I will give them a sepperate section in the next version.
And one advise: to use stock camera. HQ Cam have video only 720p and its not stable. Stock cam works fine. And for video playback I prefer BSPlayer. it don't have lags

I've been using 4.0-unofficial for a good while now and not experienced this error.
Looking forward to flashing up to the official version with the working Bluetooth though
