Dungeon Defenders

Immediately after getting into a game, the entire app just disappears and I get booted back into the home screen.
Anyone else getting this?

Not the same problem.... I almost got to finish the first game with all its waves, but right at the end it crashed.
Today I re-tried: entered the Tavern, did some poking around, shooting at dummy... and after about 3mins: crash to homescreen...

I am also having random crashes back to homescreen with this game.
1st crash, was right after loading.
retried
2nd crash, played the first mission, partly into the 3rd wave.
Haven't tried it since.
I am confused. This game was available for the Adreno 205 chip in the older phones. The Adreno 220 found in the sensation should be fully backward compatible + new features and speed ups. The CPU should also be compatible, why does it not work?
What is the cause? Bad HTC drivers? CPU? GPU? Bad Sense 3.0 implementation? OS (I don't think google will mess up that bad)
Just to confirm, I did buy this game and downloaded it from the market, so it wasn't sideloaded or anything

It has to be because of Sense 3.0
There's too many other phones with similar hardware that work fine.

It usually runs for me with a very occasional crash.

runs great for me. i do have spare parts installed with compatibility mode on if that makes a difference

Just crashed for me too, is anyone running stock loader etc? As stated erlier it is almost certain to be a sense conflict, but the game will have to be updated before its fixed.

So if you use Launcher Pro or ADW etc the game will work fine?
I gave up and deleted the game and all the data...

Chainfire
I've been getting crashes too but then i tried to ran this app through chainfire with nvidia plugin loaded and now it works. But you will have to go through almost 10min lag when the game is loading which is pretty annoying so i don't think this is some kind of fix. Well I guess we will have to wait for some update :-/

can you guys temme the settings for chainfire 3d and spare parts as it is crashing a lot on mine

I've been trying to run it first with a Sense rom, crashed after the intro.
Now I've tried it on a CM7 Rom and it crashes while in a game in between waves.
A friend of mine is running InsertCoin and he says he's running it without any problems.
I've tried reinstalling it several times thought it might be corrupt data which is downloaded to your SDCard but I don't see any difference.
Hope this problem will get fixed I'm only able to play it it on my PC now.

Gameloft Games Help!

I Am currently running Infused v2 Custom ROM on my Samsung Infuse and was able to successfully download many gameloft games without even having the initial SD files (which I couldnt do on Stock ROM.) After downloading Shadow Guardian, however it gets stuck at the loading screen and crashes my whole phone, causing a reboot.
When trying to install Backstab as well, I am stuck with "your device is not compatible with this game" although I was able to successfully install it on the stock ROM (with a downloaded apk and SD cache). Does anybody know why this is happening? I love the Infused v2 ROM but I want my Gameloft!!!
I have Splinter Cell, Fishing Kings, Asphalt, etc. installed but the games I really want won't work!!!

I hear your pain, i have the same problem, i have Order and Chaos, and i can play it only in a froyo based rom, but for some reason gingerbread based roms are not working with these games. I have no idea why.

My first guess is it's SGH-I997R (Rogers) vs SGH-I997 (AT&T), and the whole Canadian locale thing.
Unfortunately none of the devs play Gameloft games so no way to easily debug since they are paid apps without logcats of crashes.

Temple run crash

Hey ppl,
I installed temple run on android on my hd2 and it worked great but then the next patch (1.0.1) made the game force close any ideas how to get it working again.

reinstall the old version and wait for a stable update.

Agreed go back to the older version and wait untill a more stable version.
on 1.0 on my GNex whenever you selected "Run again" it would just close, not a force close with a message just gone. But then they updated iot and it's great. It is still a really early product and now that they hear about bugs like this they should be working to make it work better

Some games not compatible?

One of my favourite game "Blood and Glory" from Glu won't work on my H8. It would install fine but wont start when I open it and simply close. I had the same problem with my old honor 5x. It worked fine on my old S4 mini. There are like 3 versions of the game and none of them would work.
Any ideas? I could not understand this....

This game was last updated in 2012 which means it's way outdated. And I believe it's not an issue with the phone, probable this game is not compatible with latest Android versions

the game might be not compatible with current android framework, it seems that it wont open as well in marshmallow.
perhaps you could try another game called 'I, Gladiator'. this one runs fine on my phone.

The game wasn't updated since 2012, that's why it won't work with most modern phones
