okay guys there loads of these about. i have a nexus one and was wondering what you guys find best.
i am primarily looking for a full 5mp camera software, which supports full 720p recording, and if theres any app which record directly to avi/xvid/mp4 that would be really good

I need a screen recorder for the g2x. I was looking into Screencast but that app doesn't work with tegra 2 devices. Anybody know any app or any way I can record my screen?

Screencast works for me. Here's a video I made about it.
Great video. But is there no other way to record ur screen because the major disadvantage of your method is the low fps

You could always use a good HD camera, set it up properly in front of your phone and record away...

Just came to know recently that there is a app screen cast which can record your screen your screen. Its available as demo in market and you can buy it if it works with your phone and it worth buying.

hey I have installed free version of screencast. it is recording screen activity however the videos are appearing stretched. does it happen in pro version also? any better app?

try playing the recorded videos in other players like mx player or bs player.
I am not getting any issue in the demo version too.
