[Request] Any Brazil open device user

Ok, this request is for ALL the 920h/925/925G users (anyone with an 850 UMTS band). We need ANYONE from brazil with a device that has or was going to update to the Brazil V20a to enter the following link and get us the bin format link back as the bin format firmware is what we need to get JUST the baseband. Elsewise we may need to flash the WHOLE firmware and bin flash downgrade to root and recovery partition. I'd rather not put more people through this headache....

I tried to do it but I get only a blank screen on explorer and some information about my serial number and imei on Chrome. No links were there.

Using another browser won´t help, but the file is in fact a XML. Use view source to see it. It´s a list of fields and values. We just need to know how to use this info to build the BIN file URL.

It's being done right. With the information provided, I was able to try a few things, but I was not able to find Bin files, but only KDZ. I've also reached out to others in the community for possible outside the box root options. I'm not making any promises, but I'm resourcing. I'm sure we'll find a way.

1). Download all The Files Below!
1.2). Get Your Firmware Files are HERE!
1.3). Download R&D FlashTool & Other Files :Here
1.4).Download Drivers HERE!
2. unzip
- LGMOBILEAX
- LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix
3. install B2CAppSetup.exe in
LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix\KDZ_FW_UPD_EN
4. go to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
remove all files and folder
5. copy all files and folders from LGMOBILEAX that you unzip from step2 to C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX
Method 1. work with vbs script
1. run Automatic Offline Procedure.vbs in \LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix folder
2. now R&D test tools appear please select KDZ File
3. select Normal web upgrade test
4. Select Upgrade start
5. In Select Country & Langauage Please Select Country to Different Country (do not worry if does not has Langauage to select )
6. Process Flashing firmware start...Please waiting just moment.
7. for process 100% you is finishing flash return to stock firmware
Method 2. edit host file

1. Go to windows/system32/drivers/etc/ and open your hosts file! (open it with wordpad)
2 . Add this line at the end of the document:
127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
3. Save hosts file
4. Install msxml (you can find it in the downloaded KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder)
5. Start http in the shttps folder
6. Start Windows Enabler and turn it on (system tray!)
7. Start UpTestEX_mod2_marwin
8. Flash your .kdz as you normally would

Just for clarification, I now have this device after previously having a G2 and have this set up for the G2 on an old windows 7 laptop. Will my set-up now work for this device or is it different in any way?

It has been working on my G Pro and now on my G2. So I guess it will work on the G Pro 2 as well.

[Q] Debrand Dead End: Nokia Product Support Tool V5

I've downloaded an unbranded stock UK ROM (i think) for a Nokia 1020 64Gb to replace the O2 rubbish.
It is file
RM875_3051.40000.1345.1003_RETAIL_eu_euro1_212_03_336753_prd_signed.ffu
It was automatically downloaded to C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-875
I try to 'make' Product Support Tools for Store 5.0 find the download. It will not.
Regardless of which folder I place the download in (and alter the supposed location path) all the Recovery Tool sees is the software
already installed on the Nokia 1020 - filename. It defaults to this file.
RM875_059T1Z9_3051.40000.1345.1003_062.vpl
This is the nasty O2 branded crap already on the Nokia 1020 and all it wants to find.
Have I just downloaded another O2 branded rom ?
Dead end and out of ideas.
All answers on a postcard please to Muppet The Wonder Dog.
Do I have to remove something that makes it default to the installed
version of software ?

The download was successful. The 059T1V6 files are downloaded to C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-875. I used NaviFirm+ to download.
Alas, Product Support Tool for Store 5.0 does not want to locate the files. Why ? I have moved the files (and changed the path) to different locations in an attempt to persuade the software to locate the 059T1V6 files. But NO ...it will not.
Every time I try to change the address path to where I've moved the files is adds "\Products" to the path address. Not helpful.
When I create the path it thinks it wants .C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-875\Products...and place the files in this folder..it still refuses to locate the files.
Going round in ever decreasing circles.

The reason I paid & used NaviFirm+ to DL the FW is the DL worked.
I am unable to get Nokia Data Manager to accept any text entry in any of its fields to start a DL.
I am unable to get Nokia Product Support Tool V5 to see/locate the (apparently) identical FW downloaded via NaviFirm+ to start the 'Recovery' process.
I'm on fully patched W7 (x64)
It's a mystery.

As I said the problem is not in the downloading of the ROM.
It was very easy in NaviFirm+. I recommend the software for its simplicity and ease of use.
I have identical ROMs downloaded via Nokia Data Package & NaviFirm+.
The problem appears that the data path in Product Support Tool for Store V5.0 appends as a suffix '\Products' to the data download path. This is not the default path given from the Data Package Manager. The path is not user editable. If I create the additional folder and move the files to the folder it says it is looking for.... the Nokia package still fails to locate the FW it is trying to Recover. There are no screenshots to illustrate any error message. There is no error message.
I appreciate that it is very difficult to convey the exact steps in unambiguous English. I have been very fortunate in both multiple JailBreaks and the application of Cyanogen Mod to a collection of Samsungs..

One possibility would be to use thor2 to change the product code on the device, then let the WDRT do its job.

Back to Stock from Future 3.0 and Drake v1 or CrossDL error

Here is some guide as i faced problem to go back once from future 3.0 and the other time i installed drake v1 and it changed to d838 so when i tried to install tot it gave me error like crossDL so i figured it out after alot of search that how to go back to my stock 4.4 and now I want to share this method with you people, it may help some those who are really stuck in there. It's my own effort so if you find it helpful then plz appreciate.. thanks.
Steps to follow:
1. Download Winhex software: https://mega.co.nz/#!IUFnRRBb!JlQpWk_PiQ5NIpE2Pc7y7ovRuv3Fx-slT0A3W7ARpMc
2. Extract it and open it and there will be folder inside winhex. its pre-installed app so you don't need to install it just open folder and run the application and it give some message that you can not save larger file with evaluation version.. just open and click on help and then register option then a dialogue box will be opened and past the key you will find in the main folder text file named with "key". it will be registered version now you can open your tot file and edit it.
3. Open your tot file and click on edit and then on find then search for word "F350" and you will be there. Just change the last word with "L". if you have F350K than K with L and if you have F350S then S with L. if you want to go back from future 3.0 rom and change whole letter with "D838" and remove last digit by putting 00 on left column. you can see the pics for guide.
4. Now save the file and with this file flash your lg g pro 2 and for that i m sure you guys already have guide to flash tot file otherwise you can search for it..

Can this method be used for my phone which is now on Future ROM, but originally is D838 32GB?
I just need to get the tot file?

There is easy way to go back on stock for d838 model.. Use kdz method..
Secondly i didn't check on d838 model but u can check by using tot file n tot flash method.. Just search for F350L tot file.. I guess its available online.. Then u can try if it works may b it work but i m not sure..
Thirdly its my guess.but u can check if d838 firm can be edited then.edit that file and change it to f350L then use it through kdz method..
But u have to check it at ur own risks..

From what @orsonwang posted, his phone goes to bootloop when flash using kdz.
Your guide, I can get F350 tot file and change the hex to D838? I have found a working F350S v10e tot file and DLL. Can I use these file?

yes orsonwang eventually did the same tot method to get his phone back that give more confidence in this method. you can check this as this modification works for all tot files.. if it works i hope it will go beyond 80% and then its ok even at the end it gives error on flash tool because in my experience it didn't able to make to 100% not even a single time but it worked for me.. you can check if didn't start flashing then you have you current at least and if it started then hopefully it will go beyond 80% and i hope it will work but not confirmed you have to make your own mind to take risk as i have no such experience i am just guessing it might work..

no it went beyond 80 but didn't complete 100.. it normally went to 92 to 93.. but once phone rebooted by itself then it should be ok..

How can'i revert back to STOCK D838 ?
I have D838.tot but when I try to flash it back, there is a many error messages.
I edited the build.prop to correct anything in it.
KDZ not work, only hope is the TOT method.
Please help me !

Are you using the correct DLL file?

I was on Drake v1 and i flashed 4.4 rom after that phone is giving security error at boot. I downloaded tot and dll for my ph (F350s) and following your above mentioned post i edited F350s to D838 but still i am getting cross dl error. Any help pl?

This is a lie. The google drive link posted in the description of the youtube video referred in the OP contains folder names and filenames of V10 model but the TOT files contained therein are of LG G4 models. You can check yourself by searching xVLG in the TOT files using any hex editor.
And that is also why the LGUP says that its an invalid TOT file.

i downloaded the file for my model (f600l) it's size 1.66MB , it contains 4 files: PrimaryGPT_0.bin , aboot.bin , abootbak.bin , BackupGPT.bin .
tried to extract them but it took 220 GB then my hdd part empty it need more space what is that even windows os don't need all this space lol
will give it a try now , as my phone bootlooping
