Reminders problem in Agenda - HTC One S

Hi everybody,
Does anyone have the same problem as me.
On my new HTC One S, if it set an item in my agenda with the phone, even if I set reminder as "no reminder" on the "My planning" view, there is a small bell coming and at my item time, my phone rings to remind me...
If I set another item with Google Agenda (on the pc), still without reminder I do not have that problem. (No bell on "My planning" view and no rings at my item time)
By the way, in the general option of my agenda, my default value for reminders is set to "no reminder"
A friend of mine who's got the One X has the same problem....

How to change the default action for a favourite contact

Hi,
I have a little annoying problem. One of the contacts in the favourite list has the default action set to "Send Message" (I'm talking about the little icon just below the photo and name).
The problem is that all (but one) of my favourites have the default action set to Call Contact (the little earpiece icon) except this one.
I want to have every action set to "Call Contact" but I can't find any option where to change it.
It's the only phone number I have for this contact and it is filed under Mobile.
Can anyone help me with this?
scroll down to the contact, then press right or left
I think he is talking about the favourite contacts and not the contacts app. only way i know to do that is to delete the contact and then add them again and you will be able to choose between send message and call

HOX keeps alerting me to birthdays that I don't care about.

Nearly every morning I wake up to a birthday reminder. I never set my phone up to tell me about said birthdays, but damned if it doesn't tell me anyway. How can I make this stop? I checked the calendar app and the birthdays that I'm getting alerts about are from the "People" calendar. I unchecked the People calendar from the drop-down list, but today's birthdays are still showing up on my "Productivity" lock screen. Hopefully it will cease the alerts in the morning, but I'd rather not have irrelevant birthdays on my lock screen either
Is the a way to fix this without doing each individually? I also can't swipe away the birthday notification thing from my lockscreen.

Did you try Lockscreen settings?
Settings > Personalize > Lock Screen Style > Settings > Display Calendar Events from: "Check/un-check as you want"
Do you use the Facebook app? If you are getting birthday reminders for people what you normally not even have birthdays info, that's probably it.
I know I've had this issue in the past, but I can't reproduce it now. In the past when I've had this problem, I've just turned off the option to sync Facebook to my contacts. But this means you won't see their status messages or FB photo in your contacts. But I can care less about that. Might affect Friendstream too, but I don't use that either. If you want to try this, in the FB app go to Settings>Sync contacts, and select "Don't sync" then press done.

How do I properly use Reminders with notification at a location?

Hello, I have predefined locations of home and work in android on my Nexus 6P.
I usually set a reminder with "ok google" in Google Now. "add reminder send email to Joe when I get to work" or "add reminder do dishes when I get home
both these are recognized as a reminders when I get to a location.
But, they only seem to work like once in a blue moon. It worked the first time, but I don't think they've worked ever since. Yes I have location through both gps and wifi ON, always.
I can see the reminder is in android reminders, but has not sent me a notification when I got to the place.
Should I use Google Keep/Inbox to manage reminders? Is there a difference in just using the Reminders app?
Reminders with a time seem to work properly.

Gear S3 Calendar alarms on non-Samsung Phone?

My Gear S3 used to do an alarm where i had to dismiss (bezel left or right). I've since moved to a OnePlus 6T and my company has moved to Outlook so i lost my calendar alarms. I recently synced my calendar to google stock but i only get notifications, I no longer get the alarm... is this a feature only for Samsung phones? Is there a way to get it back? This was one of the main reasons to have a smart watch, as i would get a notification that i had to action on my watch, and all the information for the meeting was available.
Any options?
Never see an "Alarm" on my Gear (1,2,S,S2 or S3) for calendar event, just notification or for the Samsung phone alarm (but different from calendar).
Otherwise I use "Calengoo" for my Calendar event and I have customized Snooze action or dismiss. If I do nothing it auto-snooze.

I searched for Calengoo, installed it, but there's no galaxy wear app for it and it doesn't do anything useful. All it seems to do is add entries to my google calendar and does meeting reminders on my phone and nothing on the watch. Am I missing something? I already have my calendar synced into the google calendar that appears on the watch. I get notifications, but I don't get the full screen dismissable/snoozable alarm for calendar events.
To be clear, I am asking about a full watch screen alarm based on my google calendar where it vibrates just like a phone call, and i need to either rotate left or right. These used to work fine and now the feature has vanished and I can't figure out how to get it back.
Calengoo is just an app witch add action and notification action for Calendar event.
When an event occur you have a notification (with sound or alarm sound you want) on phone and on the watch.
On the watch you have all action set on Calengoo for exemple for me when event occur, on the S3 I can select "Snooze for 5min", "Snooze for 15min", "Snooze for 30min" or "Dismiss". If I do nothing on the watch I have another same Calendar notification 7min after. Similar to an alarm with a "Dismis" and a "Snooze" and an "Auto-Snooze" option (but not with the bezel) .

Question How to create a Reminder if call is declined with a Text message?

Hi,
Can't find that setting anymore neither in Phone app settings nor in Reminders settings.
Not available anymore?
Thanks!!!
Well.. you need to slide up during a call and Remind me in 1 hour option is on the top of the text message list.
Who could have thought..
