Hi
I'm using a cm7.2 kang with an ics theme and I noticed that when I pull down the notification bar, some show blank but are visible when I touch them. It's obviously because its black text on a black bar. Any fix?

Oh man, That's so lame. Same thing happened to me on a CM6 KANG ROM (ICS Themed) I tried out on my G1, I wan't able to find a fix. If I were to try again, I'd start by PMing the maker of the ROM. Sorry my friend, I wish there were an easy way.
i had a similar problem when using the ice9 theme for theme chooser i was unable to fix the the notification pull down with black text but i was able to fix the alarm time not showing but using deskclock.apk found in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330983
sorry for the late reply mate

I't possible. However it's a lot of work. You have to redo all the icons with a paintprogram. Rynoons actually made a white statusbar for the X10, see here:
rynoons modified framework-res.apk: (post #43)

The white statusbar looked really awesome on my white X10. However a white statusbar has some problems though.
-The color of the clock can't be changed as far as I know. That's why Rynoons added a black box. However when a message appears in the statusbar (like when connecting the phone to the pc), the clock (letters) will disappear. However the blackbox stays (as it's part of the statusbar background).
-Some SE apps (like mail, Timescape, Mediascape etc) include icons with a blue background. These icons will remain when using the white statusbar and thus will just not look right.
That's why I removed the white statusbar after some days of use and reverted to a black statusbar. Still some icons appear to be on a blue background. However they don't stand out that much on black as they did on white.
U can adjust the font colors by modifying the odex files. I have wanted a white status bar and black letters since I got the phone too. I'm working on it but it requires a lot of work. Hopefully this weekend.

I've tried deodex the whole framework, and changed the color in services.jar. And then transfer the jar files to the x10 and odex all the files. but after restart the mobile phone froze on the bootscreen.
If I change the services.jar, I need to deodex the applications too? or just the framework?
As I understand it everything needs to be deodexed, then pushed back to the phone where it will be reodexed. Keep in mind the phone will take a while to startup bc its odexing everything.
I may be wrong and I still don't fully understand it. Lots of stuff to learn, not enough time.

Edit: if the phone gets stuck at boot is there a way to view what went wrong? Would ddms work for that? I would try before asking but I'm not at home. Thanks
How do I install Rynoons theme?

I can't seem to find any black notification bar with all icons and text in white?
I currently have Enom's latest ROM
CM6 allows for themeing the color of the both.
so basically CM6 allows me to even change the battery from green to white and the vibrate icon to white also? I know I can change the color of the text but I didn't know I could change the color of the battery since it is an image

So for quite a while i've been using morph designed by formel-lms in the nexus one, its worked with the evo cm6 pretty well besides a few kinks. So i spent a little time playing with it this afternoon getting it setup the way i wanted, i love the look of stock CM6 just wanted the clear bar.
Much thanks to stericson for metamorph and formel for the initial morph i started using and working off of. Also to myn for the tinted status bar idea.
Transparent status bar with a bit of tint to make things easier to red. Using all the stock status bar icons. Using this on CM6.1.1 haven't tried anything else. Pic and zip attached.
Post up any issues and i'll try to fix them, if i can't maybe a theme pro could lend a hand.
Thanks dude.
Thank 4 posting

this is only for ADW isn't it? Do you think you can try using launcher pro with it and letting us know? Usually LP creates a Black status bar instead of the applied clear one.
I think its a launcher pro issue, because you can get the same black bar issue with adw if you disable the wallpaper hack.
I'll load launcher pro on my phone and see what's up. I might search around and see if I can somebody else's solution.
I flashed this ROM last week and love it but have encountered a small problem. When I get a notification in the notification area, sometimes the text is black. The problem there is that the background is black. For instance, my CNN app sends news alerts and today I couldn't read it because black on black.
Is there anything I can do within this theme or ROM to rectify this issue?
Thanks!
Check to see CNN app settings if you change notification text color in it. This is more of an app based issue, and not ROM based. Looks like the CNN app is for ROMs with white status bars.
I'd recommend a different theme.. EXPERIMENT has some excellent ones... You could always make your own theme in the uot kitchen if you're not happy with your current one...
Side note: Diablo it's nice to have you back dude.. missed you.
i don't know if this is just me or what. i try to flash battery percentage hack ( ics themed ) and it turned zeus green-ish to blu-ish now. and loved it . ha
Updated my OnePlus One to 5.0.2 via the ota update today and lost my status bar. I've changed every option and setting in status bar and nothing seems to bring it out of hiding. I've searched the forums and haven't found this issue, so I apologize if this has been solved elsewhere.
Are you using another theme or is it the stock theme?
If it's not the stock theme, try to change it and reboot your phone.
I got the same bug, while I activated the XPosed-Module of my theme (Dark Holo Green).
