Hi everyone, I'm new here so I hope I'm posting in the right forum.
I put the generic french Android 2.3.3 build 4.0.A.2.335 ROM on my argentinian Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro. The problem is that, and I didn't realize it before, the european ROM (SK17i) supports different H/3G frequencies, so here in Argentina (where frequencies are the same than in the USA) the SK17i ROM isn't compatible with 3G network.
Therefore, I need the SK17a ROM, the american one, to use my phone here. Can anyone please tell me where I could download the official SE ROM of Android 2.3.3 build 4.0.A.2.335 for SK17a devices ? It'd be so cool !

I bought to my wife a Motorola XT300 AKA "Spice" in Argentina and after a few weeks using it with the stock ROM (which btw sucks), I rooted it and flashed the Brazilian ROM.
That ROM solved almost all the original ROM's bugs (freezes, lags...) but also changed the baseband so now I'm unable to reach HSDPA network and have to use just EDGE.
I have a Defy with Quarx's Cyanogenmod 9 and that problem can be easily solved using Baseband switcher but unfortunately it is not compatible on XT300 so I was wondering if anybody might be able to give me a hint about how to manually change the baseband if were possible.

Hi there i am new member of xda developer i have sony ericsson w8 and i want to update this phone to latest android version i.e. jelly bean (if possible) my phone currently running on company installed android and cuz of this i cant manage my phone wel.l somewhere on internet i saw there is something 11w29 and its not safe to perform action(update) if you have 11w29 or later and when i checked mine it was 11w32 so is it safe to install latest android ? if not what can i do to get latest android version on my phone i currently have Android 2.1 please help me guys

so I'm new to rooting and custom roms and i was wondering how do you know what roms work of what phone and are they even phone specific. and if they are phone specific do you know of any custom roms that work on the xperia Z3v and help would be great

Hey guys! i have a xperia c (3204) brazil version and a want to install some rom (preferably one closest to the google edition, more clean as possible) but, i know that if I install a 2305 version will not work... What can I do?
