The latest version of super one click works well to root the infuse and install the super user app.
Just thought if throw it out there.
I'm not a dev so won't be much help if you have questions but I will do my very best to help anyone.

I have Unlocked Samsung infuse. Can't get data to well edge is but no 3g some says it can't be working on 3g but other say it can so my question is there a step by step thread or someone willing to help me find looking can't find and sorry. Thank you

if you're on T-Mobile or one of its subsidiaries its a no go, tmo is weird.

Because what you need to do is against XDA rules as its not legal, just bump your other thread...

Well from using the search button I see no ways for NS4G but if there are you would need a donor phone from boost

I could use a pm on how to do this as well, is it relatively close to the same as the epic? because I can't even get the phone to connect. I pressed ##8778# and it did nothing.

u got lucky. they got to ur question before I did
I bought the unlock code for my Samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket and I originally had it rooted on 4.0.3 I believe and I would insert my tmobile SIM and it wpuldnt prompt me for the unlock code. It just said invalid SIM. So now I thought maybe I did something wrong with the root or the firmware so I updated to 4.1 and it works greats no bugs but I still won't ask for the unlock code if someone could help me out here that would be great havent really messed with a galaxy s2 in a while since they first came out and not to good with gsm phones as I use cdma for the most part. All help is appreciated

Maybe be wrong but I think you have to be on a stock ROM. There's a thread in general about unlocking.
