The Best Solution is to do a reflash...
Flash XXKPE first then XXKPQ (or any rom of your choice)
This problem has happened to me... Found out that the firmware files got corrupted somehow... This may be due to flashing and modding of the device...
Well, its really annoying if your phone does not work... Imagine if someone's already calling you and your phone is right there, not working...
Hope that I helped...

[Q] G2x stuck at S/w Upgrade screen (please read)

Okay. So I've had my G2x stuck at the S/W upgrade screen fora couple of days now. I have tried reflashing back to complete stock and that didn't help me. I flashed a new ROM (all of the ones in the G2x ROM list) and that didn't help me. I flashed the restore ROMs that were stock (was in the ROM list. said it'd help me) and that really didn't go well either. They all flashed successfully and I made sure to clear the restore data, but I still get that darn S/W upgrade screen. >_< I've cleared the cache. Reformatted everything including my SD card a million times. That S/W screen still popped up. I did everything that was posted here that would work to help my phone. No go. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this screen? It's driving me crazy.

If you don't mind formatting your internal sd card then you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590523.
Let me know how it goes. Remember to flash a gb rom afterwards.

[Q] Stuck at the Galaxy R boot image

I was carrying the phone in my pocket....may have been subject to some sort of pressure....when i took it out, it was switched off...when i tried to put it on....it wont get past the galaxy r boot screen....i have already tried to put it on by removing the sim, memory card, battery....even flashed a stock rom through odin......nothing helps....any suggestions or should i take it to the service center...plz help!!!
you have already flashed ??? so there is nothing you can do more at home, better take it to SSC.
Go to recovery clear data, cache and flash the stock ROM using ODIN if you are still facing the same issue then try to format the system partition in CWM and flash the Stock ROM...
I had the same problem 3 weeks ago. Dont know what was the reason but flashing cwm did the trick for me. Its working great after that.
Something wrong with recovery partition may have triggered the problem after I flashed stock rom.

try that saurabh, i thought flashing was the only thing...but u have got more suggestions...try try
Thnx for ur replies guyz....but out of desperation...i took it ot the SSC...n now its working fine. I tried to ask the guyz at the SSC what the problem was...but they seemed reluctant in divulging the details...only said that it was a software issue.....my system partition was wiped out and now i have a brand new stock rom:laugh:

haha....was hoping for something different....but as expected...same old 2.3.5 indian stock rom
The last time I have my phone at ssc, in march, those idiots returned it to me with 2.3.4, which was itself a bug.

For software issues we've more qualified & talented members here to help thn any samsung sc..plus u gain some persnl experience to play with ur fone differently:thumbup:
u shud visit thr for hardware related issues only....
Few weeks back i was in ssc for getting my father's phone repaired(C3322)...it took more thn a week to them to notice its actual problem.... It'll be a nightmare for me if i have to visit thr again ever...
It happened to me too, but i managed to solve it just removing the battery.
A few weeks after that the phone died, not sure if it was related. Not charging, not booting, nothing. I sent it to Samsung and they replaced the whole main board. But they sent the phone back with a problem: there is like a pressure mark just in the middle of the screen, it doesn't matter where I press on the screen, the mark is in the same spot. I sent it back to Samsung after that, but they returned the phone saying that they didn't find any problem... what should I do? Send it back again?
The problem is hard to see if you don't know where the mark is, it's not a big deal but is annoying, and I'm afraid the screen could get permanently damaged.

First, Remove the battery, wait for some time and insert it again then start the phone. or
try starting the phone by removing the sim and sd card. or
Try wipe the dalvik-cache and cache partition. or
unmount and then mount system and data or
Also try flashing the stock Indian ROM through ODIN.
Wipe data / factory reset...last option

[Q] I have a backup of Explorer Default ROM. How do I restore it?

I tried custom JaggyRom. I got low internal memory(4mb) and I cant able to access my SD card too
Now I want to restore the default ROM of Explorer. Thank God!! I have back up of it. Now the problem is how to restore it? Pls explain clearly. :good:
I'm not sure, but I think if you have it in sdcard, you can go to recovery mode and use restore option. Not sure, thought the solution from this post.
yeah.. I got the default ROM now...
And,..... I tried "factory reset" from settings menu.. Phone shuts down and restarted... It showing HTC logo with white screen staying constant for abt 15 mints. Its not proceeding further.. i tried again by removing the battery and also rebooted from Recovery.. Still its showing the white screen What should I do now? Should i take my phone to service center?

Install the JaggyRom again. Or download a different ROM and flash that in recovery.
If you made a backup of the stock ROM before flashing JaggyRom then you can restore that from the backups and restore option in recovery.

ya i got my stock ROM back. it has only 52mb internal memory. I decided to 'factory reset". After doing reset, again it got stuck into WHITE SCREEN
Try by doing factory reset, from recovery this time, if this doesn't help, use your backup again. And next time please read everything before doing something!
Ahh... today's kids with their low internal memories...
After you recover from this situation, use link2sd.
Also, try out CyanogenMod 9 or 10.

Heres something you should know...
One does not simply,
Use factory reset from the phone settings after rooting the phone.
If you wana use factory reset...use it from the recovery ONLY...
Now go to recovery..
Wipe everything and flash a new rom...i suggest cm9 or cm10... and install any one of link2sd, s2e, ungaze, int2ext, d2ext for increasing ur internal memory.
Say goodbye to your stock gingerbread rom man...android has long moved on from that

Some people love Sense though, don't they, so they're sticking with GB until Sense 4 is ported. If it ever is, that is.
JaggyJags did say in the root/custom ROM tutorial not to use factory reset. You need to follow instructions when flashing or doing things to your phone or you run this exact kind of risk. It's easily fixed, but also very easily avoided.

Don't do factory reset after a rooting a stock rom from bootloader - it is buggy and soft bricks the device.
Do the reset from recovery.
If you really want to go back to stock. Use an RUU

HTC Evo Loading issues

Ok I have read eveywhere and searched google for it but can't find a solution. Ok the problem is that I am having booting problems. My phone boots up most of the way but right before rom completely loads the only thing the shows is top tool (signal & time) and the walpaper nothing else loads up and it just there cant do anythin not even shut it off only way to shut it off is to pull battery. This problem occurs when I do factory reset or data reset or when I restore from nandroid. I have no idea wat cause this problem and i have never had this problem its jst started and its fustrating as hell. If anyone can help please i appreciate it.

can someone help me plz???

You have to flash V18 baseband if you are in Europe. If you are in America you can search the forum and see which one people use.

thnx bro
can you give me link how to flash basebands
i tried using smartflash but not working
and i am from africa ... do you know best BB for me or for middle east?
AW: phone keep restarting o3d ics??
You dont have to flash new baseband, make a factoryreset it work, had the same problem. Go in twrp or cwm and do a factory reset
Edit: but you need the right baseband too, you flash it via smartflash like xbsas ics but tgis time you choose only fls file. Which baseband you need can you watch in baseband thred for first ported ics.

the same annoying problem!
I have exactly the same problem. After flashing xbsa's ics my phone keeps rebooting like...crazy!! I flashed with smartflash both fls and bin twice and also performed factory reset but no luck at all!!
If i flash only fls of the baseband will the problem be solved?? Any other suggestion?what shall i do in order that my device works normally with ics??
And last but not least:is rooting a bit complicated or is it my idea??Thank you in advance
AW: phone keep restarting o3d ics??
After you flash ics and your device works normally, you have to root it and to flash recovery, i consider you to use OS_Hackings All in one tool its easier.. you said you flash xbsas portet ics and the device keeps restarting every minute, but did you have after flashing the rom a factoryreset in recovery?

No luck at all!! I flashed the xbsa's baseband v18a but my device still keeps rebooting like crazy and also i have no signal at all!!!
i also tried to return back to GB but whatever i do my signal is still lost Is it the smart tool which does not flash properly or is it my fault??I can't figure it out!!
just close wifi and all other connections like gps data sync
and 1 more thing connect your charger and everything should be fine
i had the same problem and i did that anf problem fixed
and about signal i think v18a works for most people if not try restoring your imei and signal should be back
i had same problem too but i flashed BB v18a and signal is back
try and tell me the results
