Hi all, I want to restore my tipo to facory settings, can anyone help?

I want to restore my Tipo (Note the dule sim just the normal 1 sim Tipo.
I want to restore to factory settings and start all over again with my phone! Now that there seems to be some bit of movement on CWM and a ROM I just wanna have my tipo back to stock as when I got the phone. From there flash to get it rooted and try all other mods. My tipo seems to be bugged down with no space 4 more apps... I dont know why r how as I dont have that much installed and moved most of the bigger apps to my SD Card. Anyway I wanna do a full factory restore, How do I do this ya`ll??

If I do it this way wont it update my phone n wont have a root method anymore?

I wanna root, unlock bootlocker and install cyanogenmod.

Well, then you may try to download one of the old firmwares on the forum and flash it to your phone with flashtool.

Lads how do I use flashtool to use the ftf file to restore my tipo. When I open flash tool, it gives me a img of a older xperia phone with silver buttons that it says hold
until u plug back in the usb. ow on the tipo what button should I hold own? Im lost here n I really wanna start a fresh with my phone.

Congress after that you got factory reset set
no root,no cwm etc.....

Yep sure when it gets to that screen with old sony phone and usb animation on flashtool turn phone off ,hold down lower volume button insert usb and that light should turn green here u need to get a firmware there one on this forum somwhere in the tipo threads

Procedure:-
Download Google Now port_VSBRT (see DOWNLOADS)
Copy it to SD card
now boot into cwm
wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache
flash "Google Now port_VSBRT.zip"
now again wipe dalvik cache and reboot

Just tried it today.
Works smoothly with my xperia tipo dual, Gimlo 1.2 Rom.
Always missed the google now of my old nexus, thanks again.

Hi, I have ported this successfully and its functional and loving it on Gilmo 2.0 ROM.
But though, I have started working on some thing with autovoice and tasker, the tasks are abruptly failing , which has run very well before.
I doubt this is causing the issue, but i am not sure though.
If you can let me know how to revert the changes it would be helpful, other wise I have to re-install the ROM again.

Did you wipe everything in recovery before flashing? Wipes are mandatory if changing from one major version to another and are recommended but not required for the same version.

i wiped the data & cache... then installed the rom.

Xperia j problem

Hello
I really dont know if this is the right place or there is allready theme like this but i really need your help.
I root my device and it work for few days everything was OK and then i install CWM, after that i turn of my device and now when i try to power it up i just get SONY screen and it shut itself down... does anyone know is it possible to fix it?

As the SXJ Jelly bean version doesnt support permenant CWM so you hav to flash back ur stock KERNEL
Just flash ur kernel in fastboot using flashtool and it will be fine as before! Best luck
If you dont hav the kernel file ask google
Google is ur best friend!

Try This One Bro(This One Always Works For Me )
You can repair your phone with SUS (It Will Flash The Stock ROM But That Is Not A Problem,You Can Flash your Custom ROM again)
Update Service (SUS)

I have karbonn A7 and custom ROM from XDA

Perhaps you have downloaded a rom of different region or unspecified language, isn't it? Just check again the sources from where you downloaded your rom

Of course there would be a way to change it.
Try going to recovery and wipe cache and data.
If that doesnt help then go to the thread of your Rom ask someone to tell you what number is the language and input option in your settings menu.
Navigate to it and then you may be able to change the language

dude thanks for the help .but i tried that way also dont go the sucess
after rooting the phone still not able to customise it is still 2.3.6

there is also a play store app called more locale 2 that can change the language even to a language not in the rom

You cant update your phone to ics ? I dont understand what you are saying
It would be better if you move from gb to ics.
If it fails or something you should follow up on it, in that thread, ask the OP there.

Dude i installed the listed ROM On XDA bt the problem is My mobile is not detecting the SIM card
then i download all the Baseband file .bt i dont know how to flash them.one two link i got i have download the fastboot bt the i thing is that i dont know how to flash it.0ne two ROM working properly bt that has same sim card detecting issue.
