Hi everyone
I've got few problems in theming my phone, I dun know how to do although i've read a lot of articles about it. So I hoped that someone could help me
Here is my phone's spec :
My phone is rooted
Firmware ver :2.3.5
Baseband ver : I9003XXKPM
Kernel ver : 2.6.35.7-CL696171
[email protected]#1
Build no : GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Then come to the questions

What should I do in order to apply it ?
Do I need to DEODEX or can I DEODEX my phone using this method ?

If yes , will I lose everything like sms , apps etc stored in my phone ?
I am so scare about losing everything in my phone as I dun really know how to make a backup of it
If I can't use this method , what else can I do?

HK firmware? Latest is I9003ZHKPE.
For latest rom i already deodex..
ys its hk firmware
but after upgrage to zhkpe
which cfroot should i apply in order to get cwm

sorry buddy.. It wont work with ZCLA1 ..
both roms have different framework...
But.. I can release for your ROM too... but after my NEO ROM v2 ...

Between sir...I still got the lag problem while searching names on the phone book..... I cleared cache and all just today morning...now I got it back again

well.. me too using my own NEO ROM .. but haven't encountered such lag ..
I'll upload stock Phone.apk and Contacts.apk tomorrow.

Its very easy buddy, just download build prop editing app (rom toolbox, root manager etc) open build prop edit option than find ro.build.version.release and change it to ur desired value and restart

We don't have official JB yet. But that doesn't mean that we cannot enjoy the JB goodies.
For now, i have ported the animations from JB to our stock 2.3.6 ROM.
Please test whether it works.
Download : JB Animations
Installation :
Download the zip and place it at the root of the sdcard.
Flash through recovery.

Oh my god !! Just tested flash your animation but won't work & my phone show the message "the application Twlauncher process have stop unexpectedly pls try again ! &(process com.android) process have stop unexpectedly pls try again ! i just can go in to TWRP recovery mode only... Lucky my phone still can go into download mode & Just can flash original Firmware now it's fine ...... BUT become unroot status....

No, I'm using the stock ROM ( T T T ) "I9070UBLD1_I9070-UUBLC1_I9070UBLD1" Trinidad and Tobago.

Deodex it means your rom could be run slower than odex, but you can hardly theme it. Odex, just a little bit faster, but you cant theme your rom as what you want. Sometimes people have android is upgrading every reboot, and deodex-ing your rom is the solver..

Its a custom Rom
not just a custom rom..
It certainly means a rom with odex files removed.

as far as i know Android packs up most used code of the application into something called Odex file for faster access.Deodexing will put that part back into the application, hence making the application complete for editing without errors

is better if u flash monster rom build 3.
some installing guide here
1st - root your phone via framework
2nd- install cwm
3rd- n then flash cutom rom
notice : before u flash custom rom dont for get nandroid backup your stock rom .
n follow the rom dev install intruction to flash cutom rom..
hope i helped u dont forget pree :thumbup: buttom.
