hi all just picked up the galaxy tab 7 plus today . 6210
have it rooted and cwm installed and nandroid backup created,
is there anyway to install apex launcher on this ?, play store tells me incompatible i did download a version .apk but it said error parsing file when i tried to instal.
also i;m not seeing much out for roms yet for this device only 1 or 2 unless i missing somthing., in the devlopers section.
Nope, its ice cream sandwich only. The our tablet has honeycomb

Hi Everyone, i'm new to XDA so I'm not to to slick with the website and how to do things so please bare with me.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S WIFI 5.0 (YP-G70) running android 2.2 and I would really like 2.3.
When I plug my galaxy into Samsung Kies it tells me that i'm up to date with my OS.
Yet i've heard that there is a 2.3 official update for my device in some contries.
Can you tell me how to upgrade my Galaxy to 2.3 without having to go down the un-official root or having to install a new ROM. My device is rooted but dosn't have CWM. If you could get me CWM i would be happy to install a ICS ROM but only if CWM is provided. Thanks
You can go to market to download rom manager to install cwm recovery. I have just install that.

I Have ROM Manager and when I try to get CWM it displays a list of devices and mine isn't in the list so I chose the Samsung Galaxy S and it said it was successfully installed but when I boot into recovery CWM still doesn't come up
It is a bit more complicated than that. You need custom kernel to get CWM. You can check them out here in the Galaxy Player Forum.

Is there a version 3? I can't find it in the google play store and the version there states: "Your device isn't compatible with this version". I'd like to find one that would work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (ICS 4.0.4).
Hi everyone, I don't think another post covers this so I hope it's ok. Anyway I have a Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 UK version. I have recently installed 2.3 ROM and now it runs like butter. The only niggle I have is that it runs Touchwiz 3 launcher not 4. And When I try to install the apk it says application not installed. Any Ideas?
ok so i installed cyangenmod on my tablet and nothing works! so i wanted to uninstall it but recovery says for 2 firmware packages that it aborted installation. can anyone help me? it would be helpful to post a link to download the latest firmware of ice cream sandwich or jelly bean that is official and i can download thanks!!
i am also having some difficulty downgading my ipod so if anyone can give me some shsh blobs for 6.1.2 or like a way to downgrade without shsh blobs

i have a galaxy m11 os korean version can i update it to new version of andriod i have try to install kit kat but my phone wasant able to play audio and video file then and also it have no sim option then it hang to recovery screen and i was not able to get out of there then i got it repaired from mobile shop and they install default values and now it is in working position but now google play store cannot be open any more what can i do and also can i update it to new version of adriod like jelly bean or ice cream sandwitch kindly help me and i willbe thankful to you
