You can pull it out of any rom from system/app and then throw it into MIUI in the same spot.

Did a couple searches and couldn't find an answer. Im looking for the standard android keyboard apk, not sense or droid x. Really like it and don't want to have to switch

You can make you own theme, easy as point and click(be sure to click froyo). donwload the .apk and install. it's awesome.
would the stock keyboard in cm6 count?
it should be the keyboard from stock android
grab an update zip of cm6 (6.0.1 is latest atm) and grab LatinIME.apk from system/app/
Yea that's the one im looking for. Could someone post the zip or guide me through adb deal?

I'm using Airbourne RC3.1 ROM and everything was fine. I installed a cutom theme and it seems to have deleted my stock evo gallery, the phone app and the people app. Does anyone have the stock evo gallery.apk, phone.apk and people.apk's?

Hello all. I appreciate all of the custom roms out there. I agree withe the fact that the touchwiz ui uses garish colors, but the additions actually tend to improve on android's functionality, unlike other skins lime motoblur. Does anyone have a copy of the stock calendar apk. It seems that gummy rom got rid of it and all the roms based on gummy don't have it. I would really appreciate it.
I would like it as well. Would some one be kind enough to post it and tell how to install it?
I like the stock calendar as well.
+1

I can attach the apk's from the deodexed EE4 version...but I dont know how to install them correctly. I keep trying to get them to work but have no clue. If someone can get them to work please let me know?
I have tried deleting the original apk's via root explorer and putting these in there place with no luck
I wish I had a way to install this. I really prefer it.
oops, I thought the op was asking for the aosp version

Are you sure that it is the stock calendar? I have the latest GummyCharged but still can not find the stock calendar in the apps.

I just copied the apps you have posted in the system/app folder and they work. My Calender now finally syncs with gummy chccharged 1.9.1.
Thanks for posting the apps.

Does anyone have the apk for the ics keyboard in the zeus rom? I have found some ics keyboards in the market, but I dont think its the same one. I really like the one that is used in Zeus, but I have temporarily reverted to stock gingerbread.
thanks
Pull it out of ics revamped theme... Its called LatinIME.apk
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
Here you go. I am using it on Zeus with no issues. Copy it to your /system/app folder, get playing
thanks guys, headed back to Zeus shortly anyway...stock is very laggy compared to zeus. I will type a text message to go back and see that several letters are missing.
once again, thanks.
OK... First and foremost all credits, thanks, kudos and appreciation for this solution goes to Virus, this solution comes from their work.
This will restore the original Green icon VVM that many of us have been missing, and cannot find in newer roms.
(Screenshot at bottom)
The difference between this one and the newer version is that this one is integrated into the MMS/SMS layout which in my humble opinion is the best looking and most elegant solution. the last time i saw this working was in one of the earlier versions of
Eternity ROM mecha_signed_060812_063718
so i started there and extracted both the VVM and MMS apk, both are needed.
then i tried to simply install into the latest Eternity ROM without success... : (
On a whim i tried to install via a theme... and Voila success. : )
so here is the solution, i modded the theme zip for Eternity 1.0 so that it only replaces the MMS and VVM and this worked twice in testing.
So far as i know this should work in any rom with HTC Sense, ASOP will not support the mms.apk therefore it wont work on those roms, but i can only guarantee the rom i tested in...
this will replace your MMS.apk in Sense roms, but this shouldn't be an issue
For ICE CREAM SANDWICH look here... http://www.teambamf.net/topic/4331-romics-leak-for-htc-mecha-7006052-403-08212012/
let me know if you run into any issues
instructions
remove your current VVM
(I recommend a rooted uninstall such as Titanium, Rom Toolbox, or whatever)
then boot into recovery
wipe dalvick
wipe cache
install update zip
reboot
I never knew there was any way to get vvm on any aosp rom. That's why I switched to gvvm. I would have kept vvm had I known.. Great work.
ok nevermind, i just loaded up MiniBAMF and the ASOP version did not work.
The MMS.apk needs sense to work, and therefore since that wont happen on an ASOP rom the VVM.apk didnt load.
i have removed the ASOP version.
Sorry guys... : (
Since I already have gvvm set up and you cannot delete your phone number once foolish enough to give it to them I won't be changing back to vvm. It is still a great accomplishment and I hope others can use it. Nice to see folks still putting this kind of work in the tbolt.
Wonder if this is gonna work on the liquid ics ? The version. I had on liquid 3.2 won't work.
that depends, i have a thunderbolt therefore i cant test ICS, but if ICS can run a gingerbread version of the mms.apk then yes. but i dont know enough about the mms.apk on ICS to speak intelligently on this...
Awesome accomplishment!!
+1!!
Thank you for helping the Thunderbolt community!!

What's the difference other than the icon? And I wanna say mine wouldn't work straight out the market On liquid 3.2. That's why I searched fire this one. Its the same version but I guess they had to make some changes.
OK nevermind ...I reread the OP
