Rooted running IceGlacier & Royal Thunder. Custom Splashscreen/Bootanimation.
Rooted! Running RoyalGlacerV1.2 with custom boot animation.
rooted 10 days after purchase, currently running CM7 RC4
Came from rooted O.G. G1 and lasted a whole month before rooting! Only made it cuz ADW Launcher Ex allowed me to hide bloatware and I was so blown away by this phone compared to G1.
Now on Orange Glacier, always with Faux123's most current kernel.

faux123's kernels are always freaking awesome for me, especially his Froyo kernels for Froyo ROMs. No other kernel could get Microbes working without a crash, but his awesome kernels can ^_^
There are a variety from him, it all comes down to what ROM you're using.
Rooted with CM7 RC4. Waited a month after purchase to root because it was my 1st Android. Started with themed IceGlacier then went to CM7 RC2 and I never went back.

Rooted and running royal miui Rooting process has become easier.
Royal MIUI rooted here. Wallpaper and lock screen are the extent of my modifications. MIUI doesn't really need modification imo.
I just replaced my Dell Streak with the Inspire a couple days ago and I want to flash a new ROM on it to get rid of the ATT bloat on it. What ROM seems to be the best? Thanks for the help!
Coredroid or LeeDroid for a sense Rom
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Or CM7, MIUI, or anything based on CM7, if you don't like Sense.
CM7 Inspire 4G
If you were running DJ Steve roms you will like the interface of CM7.

I flashed CoreDroid last night and I love it. I assume that I'll get the itch to switch before long so I'll try a bunch of ROMs but this was a good starting point.
I did run DJ Steve's ROM's so I'll have to give CM7 a shot next.
Thanks!
Here is what I am wondering is it possible for a flashed phone with the MikMik rom on it to be flashed to 2.3 gingerbread. I recently purchased this phone with MikMik on it and want to go to 2.3 Gingerbread. Any help would be appreciated.
What version of the rom are you running? The current versions (MikShifted-G at least) are a GB rom (2.3.3)
Yeah mostly all our roms are Gingerbread base. If you look at the software information under settings it will tell you what Android version you are on

You can run the RUU to go back to stock gingerbread but you will lose all root access or there are stock gingerbread roms with root access on the second or third page of the development section. I would link you to it but I'm on my phone

Could be that the ROM just isn't compatible with custom kernels, Try flashing some other and see what happens. Why are you keeping the stock ROM and trying to flash a new kernel?
Hello I am looking for a stable ics Rom for my wife's g2x any suggestions and will optimus 2x Rome work on the g2x
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
Start here. As for O2x ROMs, the info is stickied at the very top.
Short answer, there is no ICS ROM at this time. O2x ROMs will remove phone functionality, so don't flash those.

No and no. There is no ICS rom yet for the G2x and you should not flash an O2x rom to a G2x. It will screw it up for sure.
If you want the ICS look, download the Weapon rom and flash New Clip over it. Then install the IceCreamComb theme in the dev forum. I also use adw ex with an ICS theme. It looks nice and runs great.
