hi
i searched for ways for fix my NV2 with the BAD imei i have (012****)
but with no luck, the tools i found on XDA won't help too much, or i'm just to n00b to use them right
i have the NV2 from my current imei
i also have the original box with the imei on it (this isn't a fake imei problem, it isn't black listed, i just want to restore the original one)
can someone having all 3:
* current NV2 file
* original IMEI
* current IMEI
fix the nv2 file so i can restore it and use my device?
Give me .nv2 file, box label photo and phone label photo.
Thx
i've sent the picture to your PM, will send the NV2 later on today when i get back from work
And everything is sloved. You have LGP509TN for T-Mobile US. In USA IMEI start from 012. It's valid.
the imei is of 509 the device is 500 or at least it should be...
how can i find out if its 509 or 500?
csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=[your imei here]
please help

Whatever is written in your battery compartment is what model you have. The P509 is identical to the P500 in terms of hardware. But the P509 was designed for TMobile and the P500 was designed for AT&T. They both use different frequencies for their radios, not FM radio but cellular radio. One will work with the other but you will run into issues.

thanks.. but this is to backup and restore
i am looking for a repair for a non backed up EFS.
i didnt backup my EFS initianlly, and the EFS is corrupt and need to repair it.
otherwise, if it is possible, i am looking for someone please who has an SM-N915S who can backup their EFS for me and help me by adding my IMEI or whatever else is needed to get my phone working
2 weeks now, and no where to go. (my phone is from korea, so sending it would be a waste of time, since i cant reach anyone there anyways), so i read somewhere on the web that it can be fixed if someone has the same exact model, with a good EFS backup, then they can modify the files by changing the IMEI number stored in the backup and other stuff, and thats it.
Willing to pay to anyone who can help me

I have 915s but i dont know how to do it twll me...

Actually I don't know how to do it either. I found out about that way after doing 3 days of research. I appreciate you offering to help but it's the how to make the changes. The efs backup is easy. Tons of apps can do that. But to edit some files and change the imei and mac address and stuff. Requires someone who has the tools and knows how to do it. I don't sadly. Wish I did.

But am willing to pay anyone who can help me that has the same phone with the efs help please

If all else fails, search for a JTAG Riff Box owner. It can repair some hard bricked devices and I believe IMEI. If it is not yet compatible with your device, unable to repair IMEI or owner lacks knowledge, then Samsung is your only hope.

Nobody in their right mind should give you their device IMEI.
It's unique to the device and a way for the carrier and authorities to identify a device, particularly if it's been cloned, lost or stolen and possibility used for illegal purposes. Tampering with or modifying (unlike repairing) a device's IMEI is illegal.
I have only heard of one (ex) XDA member "Odia" being able to repair a corrupted IMEI. I think it was a Samsung Galaxy S2 or similar. He did it remotely via TeamViewer.
Repair is the only legal way and any other method should not be openly encouraged in these forums.
Best of luck.

Thanks. But I never asked anyone for imei. All what I was asking if anyone knows how to do and I would provide him the imei to modify their efs backup. So basically deleting their imei from their backup and putting mine. Not planning or wanting anyone's imei or anything regarding their phone. But thanks for the input.
