The right place to post this but I have to say how much I love this forum and appreciate all the work and genius constantly shared here. I'm a mom of 2 teenage boys who are often surprised about what I know and the "cool" phone I have. I come here daily, read and learn. I really want to start learning more about coding and development. So thank u for keeping me tech savvy! Lol! I hope to contribute one day to this community. That's all. ;-)

I have to say everybody who doubted we would get mods and updates on our phones without waiting 6 months to a year, was soo wrong. 4-5 months after it was released and look where we are now thx to xda!

Hello all,
This is simply an introduction.
I've had my Galaxy S since May, yes first android, and XDA has been THE most visited/read site! (In all actuality this site is the reason that I still have my phone.)
I have learned so much that I feel indebted to this site and the developers that make this site what it is...
Though I would like to thank everyone by name... I just don't know them all, and they are many.
As smart as this community is as a whole, I'm certain you all know who I'm talking about...

Agreed this is the best place around. Also it helps that's most devs here are ahead of the game and the first to get anything android working

I have to say that this site along with my own experimenting has made me VERY familiar with odin. My phone performs so much better now because of the people here and there is always someone there ready to help when something does not go as planned. Thank you for this.

Yeah the infuses xda section is falling apart to be honest. I think that the moderator needs to completely wipe the Infuses section except for ROMS, modems, and other development tools. We need a fresh start at development. Does anyone elese agree? Or am I just ranting?

This exactly. Some idiots that complained a lot, meanwhile the devs mother was in the hospital and he was helping out, which he clearly stated in thread. Some people just don't have any patience or understanding...

I completely agree. We need to send JordanElliott a big thank you card and see if we can get this ball rolling again. He's only been off the MIUI thread for 2 days and everyone is lost.

The infuse is falling apart, our development is ruined. We do have a few great devs, but not enough that can truly make this a good phone. New ports are coming everyday, but seems like people running the aosp roms (not me lol) seem to just want updates and updates only. Not to go hating on people, but please, please be nice and lets make this change!
It would be nice but I don't really see anything changing, too many new and better phones, it just seems the devs get bored quick and jump to the next best thing. Can't really blame them but it would be nice if the infuse could spake some more interest.

Man I just spent 1hr finding out how to port. I give it to the Devs boy its time consuming.
Which I had the time to cook in the kitchen.
If any of you decide to take a crack at it let me know. I will gladly be a test dummy.

Dude you should do it. Maybe you could just release it every 2 weeks or so and then if anyone gives you any bull or something then just ignore them. I Understand how jordan got mad and there were people giving him crap, but shutting it down is like killing off a lot of people who loved it lol (I never tried it). I think there should be a main post stickied saying read this, and saying how if there is any bull, it will not be tolerated and you will be ignored. Someone should seriously do that haha!
There needs to be a weekly or even monthly port and no comments. If you have questions GO TO THE Q AND A SECTION! That way we can still get our sweet sweet rom and the douche bags can go flame else where.

I think more of us would step in to help after seeing what happened last time. That being said, the age for getting smartphones is getting lower and lower. There are a lot of little ****s on xda now, so the devs have to have a bit thicker skin IMO.

Got accepted for a Weather Radar Network undergraduate research and changed a library class for another technology related and it made my schedule much organized and beautiful.
My gf visited me at my lodge these days and now Im going to take a nap.
It could be perfect day if I end up eating sushi and flashing a new rom.
I got paid today. That makes me smile. Well, until I look at my bills anyway.

I haven't gotten anyone from Team Acid to reply yet, so I guess it's over for me. I'll just have to wait until next february when I get a new phone and move over to another forum.
