So I've been around the forums searching how to fix the problem and I tried the PD15IMG but it gave me a error after the second part. I was installing a game apk file when my phone froze so I turned it off battery pull and when I try to turn it on it gets stuck on the HTC screen. I try to access factory reset but it just freezes when I do it. The phone is also unrooted and I get CID incorrect update failed.
can someone help me please
What error did you get after flashing PD15IMG.zip?

He should have gotten them from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1476745
I got the CID error and then it asks me to reboot. Another time i treid with a different file it passes the blue bar part and goes to the yellow one, it finishes then nothing happens. from the link above ive tried 2.3.4 2.3.4new and 2.3.2.531 one.
Are you rooted? On which android version and ROM were you?

When your phone is plugged in check to see if odin recognizes your phone.one of the com ports should light up when it does flash away and it should be all good.

Hold both of your volume buttons down and plug in your USB (connected to your computer) to your phone. Keep holding onto both of the volume buttons until the yellow download triangle pops up.
Phone..triangle..pc icon screen is download mode. You can flash with Odin on that screen.
Did your drivers install?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
try the drivers from this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1001759
if you cant get into download mode again, try another method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069032
method 2 worked with me when i soft bricked. since you seem to get the triangle screen, the biggest thing is making sure the drivers are properly installed. reinstall them and reboot the computer and then follow the instructions on the odin guide. hope this helps.
I have a sensation, so was eager to try the revolutionary rooting method, but every time i try it, it gets as far as rebooting into fastboot, then doesnt do any more.
its stuck on "Waiting for fastboot..."
Any suggestions?
EDIT - all sorted now the forum i was using didnt mention having to download a certain htc driver, which i previously looked for but failed to find.
sometimes it says it has failed but if you check the fastboot it'll say s-off
it doesnt actually say it failed, just waiting for fastboot
oh, i havent updated the system yet.. will see if it works after the update
EDIT - nope, still stuck on waiting for fastboot...
Further than me, when I try to open the exe file, it closes almost immediately and nothing happens

Run revolutionry in console mode, don't double click it
Uninstall HTC sync and see if its still stucked in fastboot

My dads phone has an issue with his headset port so he is sending it in for warranty. so he wanted me to un root it and put stock rom and radio on. but the phone will not let me boot into any roms after they flash it loops on the splash screen. ive tried multiple roms and they all do it. then i went into hboot and restored to factory settings and now whenever i try to go into recovery it gives me an error code and i cant reboot because it just boots into the loop of the last rom i tried to install.. can anyone help please!!!
If you have a card reader you can use this tool to return to factory condition.
genepoole's tool.

Hi!
My i9000 don´t boot anymore. it has got a boot loop. i just can see the galaxys logo. i even can´t access the recovery mode.
after every app crashed since yesterday, i tryed to reboot. then i got a boot loop (boot animation). when i had it after i flashed ics 2 weeks ago too, i fixed it with deleting dalvik cache and flashed the rom again. so i wanted to do again. i deleted the dalvik cache. then i (stupid ) thought before i flash again i try to reboot. and now nothing is working anymore.
Any ideas? my data is gone, right?
please help.....need my phone!!! can´t even access download mode
Try taking the battery out and have power through USB. Sometimes fixes my download mode issues.

i already tryed it. when it is connected through usb i can´t even turn it on. i only see the battery (empty, but it is not empty) and the loading circle....then after few seconds only the circle...then agin empty battery.....
even battery animation is not working...
the phone isn´t recognized by the pc at all...
now i got something new oO a blue magenta pattern on the whole screen
now its gone :-(
....

maybe it´s because of i thought about buying an ipad2
My only suggestion left is let it sit without a powersource for a little. I haven't had any bricking issues so I don't have first hand experience

i tryed this for nearly an hour....no success :-(

what can i do now?
You'll have to odin to stock. I don't have any links or files on hand right now. Maybe someone will pop in and drop it for you. If not I'll have it up in a few hours. Grats on getting into dl mode. It's a start.

Stock is stock. I'm having trouble viewing the webpage but if it is an odin image it should work. You'd just want to find the latest stock image. Let me see if I can "try" and dig up a link. Don't hold me to it though. I'm in a building that eats mobile signal.

Tars+pit. You'll have to find the one for you. I can't get it open.
There are odin guides everywhere. Especially here on xda.

can´t i flash ics again with odin?
if not....how can i find out whats the right version?
Ok so Im trying to install the latest firmware, i put it on the root of sd, checked the name and everything and when i go to boot nothing happens. No prompt.. nothing.

did you hold down the power and volume down? It should automatically start up. Maybe you renamed it as a double .zip. Windows hides that by default just make sure.
Uncheck the "fastboot" option also

Didnt work.... None of it. But i finalllyyyy got it to work on its own. After like ten times booting it, it finally scanned on its own and its all good. Idk what the problem was or how i solved it other than just booting over and over lol.
