My kids like slice-it, fruit ninja, bubble block, leave the devil alone, lightsaber ( okay,it's not a game but it keeps a 7 year old boy amused ), and doodle jump.
I like alchemy classic, shift and nomnom.
Angry birds was a big favorite but everyone seems done with it.

Even after being out forever now, Dead Space still looks GORGEOUS.
As someone else said, Dead Trigger is definitely graphically appealing (and great gameplay, just finished an hour long session)
Oh my goodness I almost forgot...C.H.A.O.S. is a beautiful helicopter battle game with online play.
Mc3 and max Payne and the dark knight rises and asphalt 7 and the amazing Spider-Man are awesome games with awesome graphics

By far the most fun game I've played on android (still playing) happens to be a free game, Hobbit: The Kingdoms of Middle Earth. It's the most addicting game I've ever played, I literaly wake up during the night to play it (retarded), it's also in my top 3 most addictive games I've ever played PC/Console/phone along World of Warcraft (back in the day) and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
