half my apps arent in the market! - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Why are half the apps missing in the market? I'm running an ics rom and changed the density with rom toolbox and it still won't show up...Facebook won't even show...anyone help? I've tried clearing data

Settings > Manage Apps > Google Play Store > Clear Data / Force Close.
(If applicable) Settings > Manage Apps > Market Feedback agent > Clear Data / Force Close.
Reboot. Try again.

The changing density is what's causing it. Download LCD Modder Pro. It's the only density changing app that I know of that has a fix for the market.

Open up titanium, find the app that's not in market which you want in market then long press on it and choose force link to market.

+1 changing density does this on every device. Unless done right...apps will not show up or report incompatible

Control Apps Opening On Startup

The android system is meant for apps to be opening automatically. Now if you are rooted there is an app that you can manually choose which apps you want to run or not. Inside the app it even let's you stop system app from opening also, but I don't recommend stoping those. You will see system apps in yellow and regular app in white. When you click on the app you want to disable it will tell you if you want to disable or enable. Since I did this my battery saves a little more and my phone runs smoother. If you have problems downloading app message me I can send apk.

[Q] Help: App Download That Wont Go Away ?

Ok. I downloaded a free App Locker from the market. I believe it was S.A. App Locker. But then I got a diff App Locker cause i wanted to lock a few personal files. So i go to delete it from the apps menue. I noticed it wasnt there. Had no clue where it was at. But then i found it in my DL File Manager i believe. It was like hide for sum reason. So i deleted it. But its still present lockin my text and personal files. So its like a double lock on the same things i want to lock. I took the App Lock off that i want to currently use and the other Lock App is still locking the files. So im wondering is there some where else that i can look to delete this file or will i have to do another full wipe to get rid of it ?
no one has any info..?
Did you try contacting the developer of the app?
You might also want to clear defaults amd settings throuh the app manager.

Go into settings> applications> manage apps. Find the app and clear the defaults.

[Q] fixing google play store.

I ended up changing the dpi on my phone and then eventually the market stopped being compatible with a lot of apps. I changed it back (240, right?) , but the market is still being dumb. I uninstalled the updates and even downloaded an apk to over write it. How can I fix my market problem?

How do I remove Movie Studio?

I'm basically purging all the useless applications i'll never use from a fresh install of CyanogenMod 10.1 Jellybean 4.2.2 and I can't find the .apk anywhere in the app folder. Does anyone know what the .apk is called so I can remove this garbage please?
Thanks.

Don't worry about finding the APK. You can unistall it using Titanium Backup or System Tuner or any of 100 similar apps to unistall it. In those options it will appear in the App list as Movie Studio and not whatever goofy name the APK file has.
You can also freeze it in the Manager Apps section of the settings. That won't delete it but will disable it competely.
Cool thanks. So far all i've done is go into Settings -> Launcher -> Drawer -> Hidden Apps and basically ticked that, will that do for the time being? Also, is Titanium Backup free and can I get it of the Marketplace?
Thanks.

No hiding it only removes it from the app drawer. It may still be running in the background.
There is a free version of titanium on the play store...using it you can uninstall or disable any app.
Hope that helps

That is 100% wrong. I just personally confirmed it. Disabling an app in the settings menu formally freezes it and makes it completely unable to run in any capacity until it is unfrozen.
Please don't post something as a fact unless you are certain its a fact. Posting wrong information will confuse new users and others searching for help later.

So am I alright keeping the method I used to hide it? Will that stop it from running in the background etc.? or do I still need Titanium Backup to remove it?
Thanks.
Disabling the app will render the app unusable until you re-enable the app. If you need to use the app sometimes then I would try the app greenify from the play market. Greenify simply hibernates the app.
