Dude if the original dev (which I'm not sure of) is not on our forum could you post it in the ROM/Dev section with all the details / Should I do it ?
I'll link this ROM along with GLX R ROM in the FAQs, so we'll have 4 ROMs which are currently working for our R and three in the making.
Thanks.

Sorry
Now it's ok

Is this actually a rom.. From what i can see on the original thread, it looks like a launcher only...

I wonder.. whats great in this launcher. I used this on the ZCLA1+ProjectS rom and i just thought the analog clock widget seemed nice.
Yes, its intuitive but not as snappy as LPP or say ADW.

The only part of lpp or adw that is snappy is application drawer. if you add some widgets, icons you'll notice lag during scrolling between screens.
With the exception of TW launcher , xperia home has imo the smoothest screen scroll. If it only was more customizable...like ADW it would be perfect.

Edit: cleared cache and dalvik cache issue solved now no lags with poweramp, xperia launcher is fantastic

Thanks a tonne for the 360 launcher.. reminds me of the great miui rom...
lots of goodies along with this launcher .. downloadable.. will take few days to try all out..

I really like xperia home - really smooth and elegant replacement....however 360 seems laggy and slightly too candy like. Not bad but not my cup of tea.

hmmm...I never saw smother performance than with 360. Don't know maybe some transitions effect seems worse, I use cube effect and it's smooth as SGS2.

Maybe I didn't write right...It's not laggy but transition-effects are slightly too slow

Hey nedooo.. 360 is quite a powerful launcher with a lot of dev support. And, so far its great..
1stly it has great set of themes (homescreen and lockscreen) reminiscent of miui.
2ndly some inuitive customizations on the launcher.. like screen lock and default apps settings.
There is a widget called 360 safe..?? its completely in chinese. is there an english version of the same? looks like it can do lot of things like miui backup.

Better have some performance fixes. I want to love this launcher but it's so damn slow compared to Launcher Pro.

[Q] Recommended Launchers and or ROMs

Hello, I was just making this new post for anyone that has been playing around with the I727 or I727R
I have used ADW launcher but it does not seem to have ALL the features of TWlauncher
Anyone have any recommendations on launcher or rom? have a post
I used ADW in the past but after a lot of freezing and other problem, I switched to Go! launcher and love it.

I use Rom Toolbox for my fonts. Great app! you can download a free or paid version. after installing the font from Rom Toolbox, select Default in settings/display/screen display/font style.
I'm using GO launcher. I used to use Launcher Pro but I didn't want to pay for all the cool widgets that this seems to come with for FREE.

Thanks for that reference, hadn't found that one yet. Going to give it a try. Regina home works great on this phone, tried it once on my captivate = lots of lag. With the dual processor it flies though. Its a resource killer but great for showing off. I use adw for everyday purposes and LCD resolution app, set to 200. This let's you take advantage of the 4.5" screen IMO.

what do you mean like buttah??? its SUPER CHOPPY.
the only smooth launcher is launcher pro.
I'm using Go Launcher and love it.
But it does crash sometimes in the sense that the launch icons all turn into "+" symbols. Also sometimes I'll have to press more than once to launch something.
TW is not choppy for me. I don't know man...I have also flipped Willy nilly between different roms (stock root, all alien builds, s-stocketeer (1.0 & 1.5), back too nandroid, & once odin»to stock (almost forgot i flashed CRT off zip as soon as it was posted as well). All without a hitch, not sure if its dumb luck or what. I got my I727
on launch day & have followed forum ocd stylee. I have read several more experienced users @ least temporarily flame out with fc's. My device has been a rock.........so far

I've been using the ICS Launcher now on mine and have been enjoying it. Very fast scrolling and I love the looks.
I've used Launcher Pro, ADW EX, and SPB Shell in the past. All good launchers. For customizing, ADW Ex is one of my favorites.
You may just have to try them all.
You can use ROM Toolbox for fonts, they have a ton on there. I have tried a few of the other tweaks but they have not worked and I end up restoring.
The Best and most supported Launcher
I have tried ADW EX and all the launchers out there. I am now using and loving " GO LAUNCHER" it constanly has updates, widgets, SMS app and themes for everything- VERY VERY customizable- Alot of themes and wigets are absolutely free !!! Runs fast also- Try it out- you will now be disappointed....

I'm using Launcher Pro and i love it. Its clean and simple and the scrollable 5 icon dock is amazingly useful in eliminating screen clutter. I used launcher pro icons to download the ones i didnt have and now it looks slicker than ever. I'd used the free version on 2 older phones and now on the full version (only difference is being able to resize widgets and usse LP+ widgets, both which did not affect the user experience). Also great to be able to adjust animation performance and such.
I would say go launcher ex all the wayyyyyy
The touchwiz from the market is a really good imitation. Only stock touchwiz is supported by hardware acceleration, which makes it incredibly smooth.
I really like pure breeze. Having the kite anywhere on the phone is amazing. Somewhat simliar to wave launchers usefulness.

Touchwiz is NOT smooth....
Why do people keep saying that? it stutters. It Jumps. The only REALLY SMOOTH launcher is launcher pro.
Guess it depends on how many widget and background apps you have running. Mine has always been silky smooth. No jumps or skips ever.
Edit: I'm on a ogsgsii. No lag here
But I agree that launcher pro is amazing.

This is a combination of an app called
Multi Live wallpaper
Go launcher Ex
Check the effects and combine the 2
ENJOY!
I am a fan of SPB Shell 3D, that makes it wow
Ok seems to be Go launcher with 'Cylinder' home screen effect, and Multi Picture Live Wallpaper (Free in Android Market) Combo, and Go SMS pro.
Yeah its Go Launcher and as I see with custom DPI set to 240 I think. I am using it that same exact way. Great feeling.

Is there any good launchers?

I have a rooted xperia play. Im kinda bored of the UI of Xperia Home (the current launcher for me) since theres no cool effects or transitions when switching between homescreens or browsing through the menu. Ive tried regina launcher and go launcher. I liked go launcher although the some of the widgets i used in xperia home arent compatible with go launcher. And just to have a clock on the homescreen I had to download a clock widget from go launcher when I already have one! So is there anyway good UI which is compatible widgets that I am currently using in Xperia Home and also has transitions/effects when swiping through the homescreens and menu?
The stock Widgets wont work on other launchers
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
AFAIK, all (most) the Xperia widgets are built into the Xperia launcher so they won't work with any other launcher.
There are loads of different launchers out there. Some I have tried and some I have not (I am on ICS myself now and using Trebuchet from CM9).
Try these:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.adw.launcher
This was my favourite when I was on Gingerbread. I bought the pro version of it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=info.tikuwarez.launcher3
Windows 7 style launcher. Actually looks quite nice. Never tried it though.
Others with high rating -

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neomtel.mxhome <- this one looks neat
