HI
Noob here. I have recently bought a Sony Experia Arc S and would like to install a custom rom. The main reason is to bypass the home and back button and have screen ones instead.
Can anybody put me in the right direction?

Apologies for posting in the wrong part of the forum but I didn't know where else to post this. I have been searching around XDA to find the section of the forum for the Sony Ericsson Miro as I want to root it an use custom ROM's. Anyone with any info or help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot! :good:

the miro is also called ST23i. hope this helps.

Thanks for your help but doesn't look like there's much info on there either, I don't understand why there's no support for the Xperia Miro on XDA?
It's a new device, be patient.
U can try this method for rooting, it works on allmost all xperia ICS devices:

I understand that the device is new but it's been out over a month. I found it relatively easy to root the device but it's more about there being no development for it. It's a cheap handset that a lot of people would go for so I would of thought there would be custom ROMs and development for it by now?

I think u should make a new thread in Xperia S, P, U, Sola, Go section, maybe someone has xperia miro. Don't wait for something to happen, be a initiator for new things!

I am a newbie at this forum. i have a sony ericssion live with walkman which is updated to ice cream sandwich i am looking for the latest cyanogenmod for my cell i tried to search the forum but could not find my cell phone related threads please if someone could help me out it would be awesome
also how to root and flash my cell......a link to that thread would be good too i know it seems that m making others do the work but i tried finding threads but i wasn't satisfied with the answers

You can find pretty much anything using a bit of gumption and a search engine.
ok,l need just litle help-l have two xperias and since yesterday and desire s. but l get the phone that isn't working. in attacmhent is picture off phone. l am very busy this days,so some quckly sugestions is welcome. tnx in adv.

dude, l this month work 12-14 hrs...l was-l am very activ on xperia''s forum,you can see that...l just won't some directions for quckly finding solutions for my phone. l never use before htc. and if you don't wont to help-don't reply. tnx for your time

by the looks of it i would run the official ICS ruu and you should have a working phone.

I'm brand new to this, and was looking around for an aswer to my question for a while with no lucks. Not even sure if this is the right place to ask.
Anyway, I recently bought a used Sony Xperia Z Ultra, with a custom rom, and found that the call and bluetooth function is not very stable. Thinking to flash the stock rom, but have no lucks in finding that.
I'd really appreciate if someone can direct me to a working link for this.
