GUIDE & HOW TO & FAQ'S
HOW TO INSTALL (ICS LEAK TO ICS OR GB TO ICS)
1) MAKE SURE YOU USE ODIN TO HAVE THE LATEST RECOVERY IT DOES HELP -->
2) The ROM Will Wipe Just like DarkSuperWipe!
3) MAKE SURE ROM,KERNELS,WIPE ZIPS ARE ALL IN YOUR SD CARD INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL PREFERRED EXTERNAL.
4) REBOOT YOUR PHONE INTO RECOVERY VIA HOLDING POWER + VOLUME UP & DOWN AT THE SAME TIME AND DON`T HOLD IT FOR MORE THEN 5 SECONDS.
5) INSTALL THE SUPERWIPE ZIP FROM YOUR SD-CARD, SIT TIGHT AND LET IT FINISH, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.
6) INSTALL THE STOCK ROM WHICH WILL BE ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE WITH LATEST TWEAKS & HACKS.
7) REBOOT YOUR PHONE.
8) YOU WIL COME ACROSS SAMSUNG LOGO & THEN BOOTANIMATION AGAIN HANG TIGHT ITS GONNA TAKE TIME TO SETTLE THINGS INTO THE STRUCTURE, ONCE BOOTED ONTO MAIN SCREEN WAIT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.
9) NOW AFTER COUPLE OF MINUTES OPEN THE LAUNCHER & START SETTING UP YOUR STUFF (I.E. MARKET SIGN IN, EMAIL ACCOUNTS) & ONCE SIGNED IN GO TO MARKET & UPDATE ALL THE APPS & DOWNLOAD BUSYBOX. INSTALL THE LATEST BUSYBOX AND OPEN ROM MANAGER, ONCE OPENED SCROLL BELOW TO FIX PERMISSIONS. LET IT FIX PERMISSIONS & REBOOT.
10) ALSO YOU WILL COME ACROSS ISSUES LIKE REBOOT & SHUTDOWN HANGING FOR 5-10+ SECONDS, DONT BE ALARMED BECAUSE ITS NORMAL RIGHT NOW IN THE LEAK & HOPEFULLY WILL FADE AWAY ONCE ROM SETTLES FOR DAYS MAYBE WEEK OR TWO.
11) ONCE ALL STEPS ABOVE ARE DONE. FLASH ANY THEMES FROM BELOW THIS POST & ENJOY YOUR SKYROCKET.

How's mohan's kernel in your opinion? How is it with battery life compared to faux's GB kernel? Thanks.

i used it on his SensatioN rom its been uplugged for four hours and is at 80% with three voice calls about an hour total talk time, sorry haven't run it down enough to give better results
On another note your other rom is running so good i don't know if want to change lol

Hi, great rom so far
For a next update, I would love to have an extended menu (to replace the multi toggle)
I noticed a little bug on mine, the battery % is not accurate (stock at 85%) and doesn't match the real % (edit: it seems that a few reboots fixed the problem)
Still in the top bar, could it be possible to get rid of the icon "vibrate"?
Also in settings, Display, Lock Screen Wallpaper, the only choice is the wallpaper gallery, there is no Gallery anymore (maybe the because Samsung gallery is gone?)

I'm driving this rom today and other than silvers base rom it's the only one I've been able to set up the push email on my pop 3. Everything is nice and smooth.
Can I flash straight from GB?
For battery % it will be fixed in next update, i know this issue is there.
I only have vibrate icon and when you press vol- couple of times the vibrate icon is replaced by silent icon.
will put gallery 3d back.

Flashed! Playing with it for a bit and then I will update with some screenshots and anything else that I find...
EDIT: So I have played with it for a couple of hours... the steel blue theme works fine! The only thing that is still red is the Internet (browser) icon... my only issue with the ROM is the calendar. I actually really like the new layout! But there is a bar across the top of the screen and I can't get it to move or go away... a flashable zip to the old calendar would be awesome or a work around to get rid of the bar so I can see my all day events would be even better... also posted this problem somewhere around page 36... help!
I can put some screenshots up if anybody is interested what this looks like with the Steel Blue theme...

Haven't experienced any yet. No, there aren't any alignment issues. If you encounter a bug, just post it here in this thread and I'll be happy to try and fix it.
I will be also updating this Rom with better tweaks that will improve speed as well as battery life. No ETA yet, but it will be here very soon

I'll be flashing this later today. Stock kernel and Sense 3.5 works the best on my phone. Those two and added tweaks like centered clock and stuff is cool. I just hope updates flow often, not a lot of devs do that.

At the time, i am a 14 Year old junior member here, but i have been cooking ROMS for my self since my first android phone, the Samsung Intercept for VM. I have come a a long way since then (Intercept > Optimus V > Triumph > Nexus S (T-Mobile) > GS2 (T-Mobile) > GS2 Skyrocket). I've gained enough balls and knowledge to finally publish a ROM today: (Sharing is Caring, Right? ) My final Daily Driver for a week now, NeXuSM0Di727-v1.0. i have worked this ROM up ever since 0.1 from my Stock bases and CM7 Source. NeXuSM0D is a ROM for our skyrocket that is made to be as AOSP as possible. Something that would be nice as not necessarily an implementation but possibly an add-on is the extended notification menu. Having a flashlight and screen time out settings there is really nice.

Yeah 14 Toggle? Also nice but not necessary is Extended Power Menu. Didn't see in the OP #Justsayin'
Looks good though....I got my sister a Nexus S last year for her first android phone and she loves it, she already has ICS too

Doesn't have to be all 14 toggles, but I've already used that flashlight toggle several times, haha.
And yes! Extended power menu is a must!

Might have to be a full wipe cause Power Menu requires editing of framework-res ....i'll keep you posted on that one

There are other ROMs in this forum that can get your skyrocket going until this ones up.... ?? They are all good, just depends on personal preferences.

Found a little thing. Don't know if it's just me. When I clear ram via installed task manager, and press the back button, it takes me to my contacts. Then the back button does nothing and I have to press the home button to get back on my main screen. Just that so far lol. Quick rom though

Looks really good dude. Question though, I see the toggles are TW themed, and the status bar is ICS themed. Is it set in stone that themeing selection or can we change them in aroma? They book look solid I just like to have a standard theme all around.

Thanks! and the status bar is an issue with my photoshop skillz :/ lol I'll fix that now, I just forgot to put the screenshot above the statusbar layer for the PSD. The status bar is actually just stock themed but transparent on the homescreen.

I tried to install it and when I went to install in TWRP it failed automatically
