*I am not taking credit for this but please thank braway on the Galaxy Note Forums for posting this reset counter zip.
For anyone who flashed any custom downloads through odin,you might notice that the "Custom Binary Download" label (when you are in Download mode) has a number next to it. This is Samsung's way of tracking the custom downloads we place of our phones. If there is a "number" or "yes" next to your Custom Binary Download, you will not be able to send in your phone for a replacement or a repair service (warranty void). BUT, braway on the Galaxy Note forums made a zip file where you can reset the counter and make it look as if your phone was never flashed through odin. Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1569206
Note that this zip was made for the Galaxy Note but cdshepherd on the Galaxy SII Skyrocket forums tested it out and was the one who figured out that this also worked for our Skyrocket. Also Thank you for zaptor99 for introducing this idea of flashing the zip on our phones.
Wonderful .. here we go AGAIN ..
PLEASE .. BEFORE POSTING, SEARCH .. THIS IS ALREADY IN HERE !!!!

Like many times before i used the one click odin root to root my phone. This time as soon as it started, it failed. Now my phone boots straight to this screen:
Odin Mode
Product name: SGHI727
Custom Binary Download : No
Current Binary: Samsung official
cell phone pic----------------------exclamtion triangle pic---------------------computer pic
Firmware upgrade encountered
as issue. Please select
recovery mode in kies and try again.
I used odin to try and flash again, i used one click flash, and I reinstalled all my drivers, checked my usb connection and even tried a different computer. I cannot restore my phone. I was on stock ginger bread but not sure which one.
I go into download mode manually, i slect up, and i get back to the same screen as on top w no result.
Help plz. $20.00 donation to who can help me crack this...i really need it fixed, thx.
I also tried to use klies. it didnt work. computer does read the phone as the yellow shows on odin. But everytime i try to flash something it starts, then fails.

Can you still transfer stuff over Odin, or is your computer not picking it up at all?
Also, are you using Desktops or Laptops to Odin?
This thread is epic. I would've reported it if there was a report button :-(

This will probably be moved or you may want to post this in the help section. But while im here. You able to get to bootloader? Or download mode? From power off hold all three down. Power home and volume down. You should xome to a triangle. From there you should be able to get to recovery. If not save battery and get to a computer and xda the odin 3.07 .zip and drivers also the file will be there as well. You should be ok. I dont want you to freak out as it is kindof hard to really brick. But possible . So. Head over and follow the simple steps. I got in a hurry once and flashed the wrong zip and blacked out. I powered off via battery pull held three buttons and volume up I believe. Then I got back into recovery via reboot.
Edit. I then wiped everything. System too and reflashed backup

Yeah I told him matter of time as its my first line in my post. In the meantime if I see someone needing help should I just tell them nothing more than move post to proper threads or? I don't want to cause any friction. Been doing this a long time but not in xda. Much respect and regards moderator ..

Hello guys.
I have the model: GT-N8010... Wi fi only.
And i followed this tutorial to root my device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239185
Everything works just fine, just till the end of the tutorial, i ran into a problem.
When i have to hold the volume key and power button, i get a different screen than the one that is displayed in the tutorial video.
Here is a picture:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So the problem is, i cant go to the left icon showed in the video. Because my screen is displaying something different.
What can i do?
Its says vol up continue .
That is how download mode should be .

Download mode works.
But i need the install thingy.
look here on YT: /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0eAQzxwEVjY#!
Skip to 6:12
you can see he goes to the left icon.
I need to install Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root
I got Android version 4.0.4
Pretty sure the problem that i am having is because of a newer version.
So can i complete the method? Or would i have to look for a different tutorial?

So why are you using a tutorial for the Samsung Galaxy TAB 10.1 when you have the Samsung Galaxy NOTE 10.1?
There will be some differences when you are using a tutorial for a different device...
Hope you double check which rom you are going to install, if you are going to, as you will come up against a brick wall if you try to flash a firmware for a different device...
case ynalino
Oh my, i feel so stupid.
My note is still okay.
thanks

There is already a thread on this app by the developer here. No reason to have it. Did you ask his permission to post his app? Also just unrooting your phone does not regain your warrenty.

Hi! If u r using Odin for the 1st time, then it's obvious that there has been some mistakes. Flash froyo 2.2.1 (4package firmware)of ur country (Indonesia) coz it contains bootloader. If ur phone becomes fine then u can flash Gingerbread 2.3.6 (Indonesian).
Remember: Use Odin 4.38 & ops file should be named like: Beni_v1.0.ops & install Samsung mobile drivers. Disable kies,antivirus & firewall.
Good luck...!!:thumbup:

We are talking about the S5670 here, right?
How comes you have an encryption option - what rom are you using?
I use cm 10.1.4 and there is no such option.
