[Q] bootup sound change

hi im just looking for the directory that hold the sound file for the boot up animation?, i do have a custom animation installed but just want to change the sound, any help would be greatly appreciated and im sorry if this has already been posted before

Or are they the same thing? If so then I did that and it didn't work, I just want the Droid voice from the commercials to play when I turn on my phone

Open root explorer...and go to etc....its on the first page when you open root explorer

And yes...it will work....delete PowerOn.wav....replace with your wav file(and it has to be a wav file) and rename it PowerOn.wav....spelled exactly like that....

If i'm putting it in they righty directory then why wouldn't it be working, could it be a specific coding in the format of the audio file?

well using zeus build 5 without theme, this still doesnt work for me..

Amazon app store

When you download an app from the Amazon app store where does it go? Its not listed in manage apps under settings.

Find the download folder using a file explorer

Stock live wallpapers

I'm running on zeus. And the only thing I'm missing are the stock live wallpapers. I was just wondering how I can get those back?

You can extract them from another rom that has them, push them to your current /system/app and set the permissions to: rw-r--r--.

Adding apks to roms's..system/app file

Added all my apks to Rom and when i install the Rom it bootloops. But,if i remove my apks the Rom installs fine.
Any ideas or a better way to add them so they will install with the Rom,or make them a flashable zip file?

Maybe just install your apps after it boots?
Or...if you have a lot, install them after boot and then purchase titanium backup. It makes getting back to you normal running state simple. I can flash and be up to speed in about 5 minutes.

I do have a lot,i have tb pro,just havent figured out compleetly how to use it yet..

Pretty easy....its called a batch back/restore....
Do a Google YouTube search for titanium backup....it will show you how to use it...i use it regularly....
