I tried chatting thru it to ma fathers iphone 4 bt it always shows ma image in his phone upside down....... Ny1 else hav this problem????
Only Cm9 got it right n i think its because of that inverted image bug in that rom........gyz plz reply soon..... Am using Saga3D from prox rite nw..... Bt tried will most of other roms to still the same result n cant seem to find ny such problem in the software. Reviews........

Last time I used it was back in October when I was talking to my Dad in Spain with my Desire S to his SGSII.
No problems then. The images showed up fine on both the front & back facing camera.
I was running Hyperion ROM back then. (I think that proxuser uses the Hyperion kernel in his ROM) so there shouldn't be any invented camera issue...

I seen it ma self the video at other end is upside down..... I had that issue since i got this mob......
I think it mainly comes when its inter platform i mean android to ios

Hi guys,
Just flashed endy onto my wifes desire s and first thing she noticed was that there was no longer the HTC mirror app, I have been on the rom a while and didn't even notice ( guess I am not vain? : p ) , anyways is there anyway of me adding it or would it be simpler to just download a similar app from the market?
Isn't it the same using the front camera in the Camera application?
Your Mirror HD is a good replacement from the market. Not tested it yet though.

Ever since i flashed cm7 to my phone i noticed that the camera was different and was wondering if there was an app to either replace the cm7 camera or let me use the HTC camer. Its my first post so if im in the wrong section please tell me and i will repost this there.

tons of camera apps on the market. you only get the htc sense camera if you are using a sense rom. cm cannot use it.

Do you have a particular camera app that you use. Looked in Play and not sure which is a quality camera.

i use camerazoom. most of them are pretty good. try a few and see what you like. none ive found take bad pictures, its all about the interface and post photo processing features

I'm also on ordroid, but, when I take a photo on instagram, all freezes and stops responding (non of buttons working on instagram or other buttons), when screen lights out and press turn on button (hope to go to lock screen) it boots on as switched on. Reinstall does all the same
Works fine on VI 4.0.1. Although personally I don't see what is all the hype about.

What's the benefit of using Instagram?
It's another 'cool' app to have for photo blogging - effects are quite nice
Just installed instagram.. currently using sense 4.0 insert coin rc1.. took some photos and upload it to fb.. one FC occurred when to choose profile pic.. the rest seems to be ok...

Has anyone ever physically replaced the camera on the Sensation? Mine won't focus at all. It seems like the actual focus is stuck. Before anybody asks, i've searched for 3 straight days and I tried everything. It just wont focus, it seems like it's stuck on one focus position and anything closer than 2 feet is out of focus. It makes the focus noise but no attempt at focusing.
Is sending it in for repairs an option?
Not really, I can get a camera online for it but was hoping I wouldn't have to replace it.

Its not broken or something its just the software there is a slightly difference if you use the HQ camera mod

I have tried ever single camera app or fix and my camera still won't focus at all. It's very frustrating.

You can either touch the screen to focus on a certain point or if you point it at an object long enough it will focus on it. My doesn't do that on camera or camcorder.

Everything closer than 2 feet is always blurry.but even if I try to focus on something father away it doesn't. It just stays on one focus point.

i also get the no focus on anything up close but focus from more than 2 feet or so works great! weird, im guessing that thats just how it is.
My camera has been having trouble focusing lately. I've tried stock ICS, sense 4.0, aosp. None are good.
Kind of been wanting to downgrade to gb to see if it improves.
Glad to see I'm not alone, although it isn't very good news..

right i wish i didnt root this thing the day i got it so i could remember how stock camera was!
I can't automatic focus while recording too, only by clicking on screen. I have stock rom so i think it's just feature.

No, the camera/camcorder should automatically focus.
Been facing the same problem too. Autofocus for macro shot is not as good as my old htc desire and htc sensation.. strangely, if i try macro using object that has text on it i.e newspaper it works.. I thought the problem is the HQ camera mod, but when i reverted to stock camera, the problem persist. I still yet to try the camera on official GB rom. If anyone tried it I would love to hear the result.

Same problem here, the wife uses Instagram on my phone and it kills it pretty much every time.

Regularly freezes my phone, particularly during the application of tilt-shift and/or when clicking on the top right hand side arrow to process pic and upload. Really annoying. E-mailed them as well, hoping for a fix. In the meantime, no one cracked this yet?

this problem rekated with apk, not phone. i'm using xe with arhd without sny instagram problem but i tried same apk on desire, ideos x5 and galaxy ace, and noticed errors. if the program wants to work, it work like a charm. if it doesnt want to, you have nothing to do.
generally iphone port apps doesnt work stable.

Since the most recent update it seems to be much more stable.
And by much more stable I mean being able to process and upload a picture without a hard reboot
I've found that if I reboot BEFORE I use instagram, it works perfectly. If I do NOT reboot it freezes. I've learned to work around this issue by rebooting BEFORE use. Then it works perfectly for me. My current Rom Beats by Grogg 3.0 v.B. but I think the reboots will work with ANY Rom. Give it a try. It solved my freezing issue, perhaps it will also solve your issue hope this helps! Good luck

WTF is going on with Instagram
Ever since I upgraded to the new TMOUS 2.10 now 3.0.0 Instagram freezes on me and I have to take the cover off the back of my phone and reboot it every time now. Seriously though. what's going on?

There had been confirmed issues with some specific drivers and some specific apps (skype and istagram eg.), you can take a look in this thead for the drivers you might want try.
For those with Instagram problems, those drivers should fix it :

They should work no problem with every ROM, clearing cache is also a good thing to do.
what do those drivers do exactly ? And I noticed this is for an adreno 200 but the sensation has adreno 220 ?
