Is there another way to get the roms for our phones since the site is down

any of the posts that i have looked at do not work.. i want to root my phone but there is no where that i can get any of the roms because of the upload sites are down.. do you have any roms that you have stored on your comp that you could send me a copy?
If you search through the threads of the roms, a lot of people posted re-up links, but it may take a little bit of searching to find them. There is also a rom reupload thread in the development section, if you haven't looked at that yet. I think the links on there are new and should be working.

Can someone please help me understand this. I was going to root my device last might and was ready to go and download visionary from the market and I couldn't find it. Can anyone else confirm this? Is there anywhere on the web where I can directly download the latest apk?

The app has been removed from the market...
from what I understand is that the dev may have pulled it because he is going to release it as a perm root solution...or google pulled it because they do not want people having it.
...guess we will have to wait and see
I understand you are speculating, but when you say he may offer a perma solution are you implying a perma root solution for the mt4g without having to go through the current perma root op?

You are correct, I was speculating as that was what I had read in another thread here last night...supposedly, he was going to release the new app today. Even if not in the market...I am sure it will be available somewhere.
I tried a very quick google search last night and only came up with xda threads.

Can rom developers please publish screenshots with their roms. most people look at how the rom is before they use or even download it. So please post screenshots when you upload your new rom.

Why is this in the development section? you posted this question in dsexton's rom thread too. there was zero need to create a separate and incorrectly named thread. Also, our devs are doing us a favor by even developing roms in the first place.
On a side note, read the rules of the forum. I noticed your other threads in the theme section too. everything can be found in the sgs4g bible. For rom manager....you do realize that the program was made by an xda member right? A dev who is helping thousands customize their phones. WHY would you want to rip them off???

What is wrong with you? You really thought posting a thread about your sense of entitlement (in the wrong section no less) was a good idea? These devs put in many hours of hard work making these roms and you can't be bothered to flash it for yourself to see if you like it?

Guys please stop replying to thread like these. Just do as I do and copy the link of the thread and send the link to Mr. Clown. It's the fastest way to get it closed or moved. I've already send him the links to this guys other Threads like "Cut the Rope", "Rom Manager Premium" and this thread. Those are paid apps and this guy is looking to get banned.

We have like 9 gb leaks in the dev section with instructions on how to install. Check them out and flash away. Just follow the instructions. The gingerbread starter pack is the best place to start.

I rooted my infuse with superoneclick, I'm trying to install custom rom's, cyanogen probly but I don't know what to do next, I have the little superuser app in my drawer but before I download a Rom do I need to install a different recovery program? I read it comes with something like 3e? I dont know much about this, any help would b much appreciated, thanks

There are many many threads available to address this question directly. Look at the top 5 or 6 topics on the development forum. You will find tons of info there.
This is the simple answer.
The complex answer requires your input... What mod do you intend to use? Do you plan on using a modded kernel? Etc.. again I would refer you to the development forum for answers.

Hi, dont know if this has been asked before, but it's there a way to somehow install another kernel (maybe overclocked) instead of the current kernel? And I like the HTC camera present in Sense ROMs instead of the camera in MIUI (my current ROM) or in Cyanogen ROMs. Can I install the HTC camera over my current one?

Just flash it in recovery like a ROM. Be sure to wipe cache and salvia prior to flashing.

Yes just look for compatible kernel for your rom and flash, backup first.

The search button is yours and everyones friend. I can say never once did I started a new thread asking a question that's already been asked. Actually the only thread I've ever started was one thanking the devs and the people making guides on how to do anything with this phone. This is my 1st android and I've flashed a few ROMs and kernels in the few months Ive had it cause of the info I found here. And I've never had any problems. All the info you'll ever need(and some you dont) is on XDA. And if after a relentless search for your question leads to nothing, then by all means ask away. Not tryin to hate, just stating facts
