Request: Black Swype Keyboard with Red Trace Line

dont know if this is on the right place if not mods are welcome to move it..
anyways an xda member here on the forums managed to customize the swype keyboard color and traceline.. now i tried installing it but unfortunately i got the screen size error because it was made for a g1
now my question is if anyone here can customize the swype.apk for our evos to a black keyboard with a red trace line...
i know im not the only that would like a customized black and red swype to match our evo's
it would be much appreciated

Another forum pumped out a black/red one with a red line an XDA member posted it here... I'm just saying I am beyond 3 steps away from having any credit for this. Based on the 1.56 and it is high res and works stupendously.

I tried it out but it looks blurred. I had to switch back to the regular bc I was getting a headache lol.

That is a standard Android warning that you get when installing any 3rd party keyboard. It is not exclusive to Swype, it is warning you of what could potentially happen if a source is untrusted.

can we get this updated with the newest version and also a version that is for the EVO .. the one above i tried on the EVO but the buttons are grainy looking .. not sharp

It didn't work for me either. I think I'll just stick to the vanilla version for now.

I got excited for nothing lol. I'll stick with the droid x red/black keyboard. That red swype only let's you type no swype AND it's blurry but that's okay I know you'll come around with one that works better.

This uses Metamorph to theme the current Swype. There's a black kb with red trace, gl
edit: If you don't have the latest ota Swype you can get it from a stock rom and adb push it to your phone.

[Q] Ok, i got round to rooting, Now what ?

Rooted my X10i finnally the other day and im quite impressed with it,
Finally said goodbye to Moxier and Office suite and all the other useless junk that the X10 doesnt need
I used the one of the root apps that came out the other day (the one click ones)
So far all ive done is
- Installed Titanium Backed up all my things and deleted some others
- Installed WIFI tether but im a little unsure about using it
Are there data Charges? and kernel numbers (forgive me im new to this)
What i would like to do is......
- Update to the latest software, even before rooting i couldnt seem to update past 020, i understand 026 is out at the moment but i cant seem to get this over the air, or even via SEUS
Also im as eager as everyother x10 owner and his gran to get 2.1 i expect rooting will enable me to get 2.1 as soon as its available to us?
- Edit, The statusbar colour? or install the Dark theme that is a few threads below this (possibly make my own)
- Overclock Now this im not sure about, is it possible to overclock the 1ghz cpu at all (for running PSX4Droid), or even take it down a notch at times (save on battery?) is there an app for this ?
And also is there anything else worth changing to the X10, Love this phone but i feel its got so much more potential locked away in there somewhere lol.

im using the one click root thing and while titanium worked, i cant install that dark theme which is a bit annoying

There's two of them.. I was using the thread containing 'dark theme 1.0-1.4' (something like that)
worked fine for me.. im actually just like a beginner myself.. used that theme to try n start creating one of my own.. some bits are alright to do but others are quite complicated.. usually requires quite a bit of trial n testing.. might put some screenshots up soon! nufin special

[Q] Problem Probelm Phoenix 2.5

OKay few tiny biny problems here
1. My GPS does a lock on but still 1000 meters away? what files to install and what to do ?
2. How can I change the color of the bubbles of the text messages ?
3. How can I change the background color of the gmail app its dark right now?
I'm using ADW launcher right now so if someone can tell me according to that please.

[Q] tweaked synergy rom

I flashed the tweaked synergy rom and works fine except saving camera shots, but my question is that I noticed the pic on the different skins are not the same as I have, it now says to flash the data optimizer, would this be the reasone for that? I am working with an evo 3d. Thank you

[Q] Trying to install HTC_IME.apk with arrows onto AOSP ROM

I'm on the Oxygen 2.3.2 update ROM but would love to use the HTC keyboard with arrows for an enriching experience. All mods flashed thus far have resulted in varied forms of FCs.
I've tried porting other files like the framework, service & systemui apks with jars. No success.
Help!

Still needing help. I'm an Endymion guy and have been on it awhile. I want to try a few other ROMs but I really don't intend to sacrifice the comfort of a keyboard with arrows. Once more, help!!!

Back again. I've long since returned to Endymion but every now & then (twice yesterday for example), I return to an AOSP ROM & try to solve the keyboard problem. No show. My shot at help from the DEV section yielded pointers but nothing specific otherwise. No such thing as an insurmountable problem since I've been reading on the forum (nearly 7 months).
Guys, help out. Please.

What would you know? 5 seconds of googling could turn up so much. Thanks but that isn't quite the HTC keyboard. Besides, it's now a matter of academic interest. Everything seems portable. My wife's SE X8 runs a ROM with an HTC keyboard. Why can't an authentic HTC do the same?
Request stays the same. How can I get the HTC keyboard to work on an AOSP ROM. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried just installing HTC_IME and Clicker.apks? I'm guessing you have, but when you say flash I assume you mean in recovery. I've bought HTC_IME to vanilla ROMs before (granted, on the Hero), but all I'd do is install it.

The request stays the same. Installing the apks cause many more things than just the keyboard to FC. I hope someone would elevate the status of this request so it can get some attention in a world dominated at the moment by ICS (+/- Sense) porting. Thanks once more. By the way Oly, any luck?
