What are your top 10 favorite applications?

I believe all Android users have been to the Android Market and downloaded >10 applications onto your phone. However, what are your top 10 favorite applications? Probably you can come out with a list of your favorite top 10 free, paid, non-rooted and rooted applications?
Thanks in advance
I think these topics are existing already numerous times, but hey, its fun to see if something is new.
Here are my mine which i use daily, seperated paid and free ones
Paid;
Launcher pro plus, my fav. Launcher
Widgetlocker, great lockscreen.
Navigon, used it in my car before, now on my phone, very well organized navigation app.

Awesome drop, getting small files from your desktop to your mobile.
Tweetdeck, very clean twitter app
Handcent sms

Open watch, for connecting my watch to my phone
Penetrate, getting codes from all thomson and speedtouch routers.

Exactly, our "favorites" change over time. Plus there are always new applications flooding in the Android Market! Nonetheless, thanks for sharing
YouVersion Bible (anyone wanting to read the Bible, this is a very clean and quick app with a vast amount of versions in various different languages. Updated often. User database of contributions.)
Apps Organizer (allows me to use less screens for better performance without loosing accessibility)
Audible (gotta love a good audio novel when you don't really have the time to sit down and read!)
Catch Notes (used to be 3banana notes. I really like this note app, but I haven't done a lot of searching. It works very well and is pretty simple.)
Documents to Go Pro (this is essential for me while in school!!! Now that it syncs with google docs its sooo valuable)
Daily Strip (Sunday Comics reader. I use it mainly for Calvin & Hobbs...but there are a lot more on here!)
Dictionary.com (essential!)
LastPass (great password vault. Creates passwords for you. Very good.)
xScope Browser v. 6 (ftw!!)
WinAmp and/or PowerAmp (they're both great, the second one I like better, but it's been acting screwy (maybe it's my fault..idk) lately so I've been going back and forth)
Here are my 10 [that I use frequently]:
1.) Titanium [needs root] [PERFECT for restoring your apps/settings when you switch roms]
2.) Handcent [best texting app to date]
3.) MIUI Browser [aka Charming Browser] [Super Smexy browser ftw]
4.) Barnacle WiFi Tether [Works like a charm when a rom doesn't have a native wifi-sharing app]
5.) Swype ['nuff said]
6.) Tweetdeck [BEST Friendstream/Twitter/Facebook Timeline replacement]
7.) Dropbox [Easy file transfers between computer and phone
8.) Soundhound∞ [Shazam can go suck it]
9.) Linda File Manager [simplistic organization]
10.) XDA [no explanation needed]

Really?
I'm happy enough with the default browser.
I tried the MIUI Browser after it was mentioned in an earlier post. I didn't like that the tabs at the top took up that much room.
I used other browsers that were also tab based, but found the tabs in them to also take up too much space.
I like how the default browser just opens a new window. That's fine for me.
1 phonemypc - best remote control better than logmein and cheaper.
2 evernote
3 dropbox
4 glympse
5 C:Geo (geocaching)
6 GPS Status (gps toolbox application)
7 Scanner Radio (police scanner with alerts)
8 Listen
9 Vlingo - texting/emailing by voice and having received/texts emails read to you is easy with this app. totally no look / no distraction
10 printershare - print to wifi printers or any printer that is connected to a computer you configure a pc client on.
1,2,3,10 The browser (either opera or the included browser) and Gmail make it possible for me to not be tied to a computer when i am home.

First of all dont quote huge posts it makes thread looks messy, plz edit ur post.
Yes it works with stock rom and changes icons (this feature is in paid version only), i have tried on stock xwki5 and xwla4 all icons r changing expect status bar color and other unsupported icons like 4g.
Btw whenever messing with system stuff its recommended to keep a backup, so dont forget to make a backup first.

Gs2 people use to use GPS STATUS to solve any problem with GPS lock.
Lock once with that and your problem is gonne.
You aldo can clear you GPS data to start over.
You can find the FLIPBOARD apk on the i777(sg2 at&t) forum.
Thats a new Android blog reader that came with the new SG3 released this month.

voice navigation
how exactly do i go about using voice navigation on google maps
As an audio downloader, usound isn't working for me, it fails every search, try 4songs, is really good.
I can't find a Google Play link, sorry, it seems that it has been banned from it, but you can get it from other sources.
As a music player, I like very much musicXmatch, it searches for the lyrics of every song and shows you the albums where it's included, you also can buy songs from inside the app and hear some seconds for free.

You have to use the hacked Google maps by ownhere, try searching the apps section of XDA and you'll find the updated release
I'm assuming you're staying in a place where google navigation doesn't work
Proud to own a Galaxy R

Apps and processed I have disabled .30FW

Because I don't like programs running on the background that I don't use I disabled (using the app manager) and froze some stuff. Maybe I went a little further than most people do. My routine is to enable all this stuff again when there is a new FW, update (with OTA rootkeeper), and then go trough the list again carefully because stuff always changes. The result.... one bloody fast Infinity. It's snappier in normal mode than stock in performance mode... to say nothing about performance mode. And yes, my system boots fine... I've been doing this kind of stuff for years and developed a bit of a sense of what I can an cannot do And if I miss something I'll enable it again (that's what I love about Android).
Frozen with the app manager in .3
-Asus dayscene (actually I use because I like it this one but you can disable it)
-Asus e-mail
-Asus facebook poster
-Asus mywater 1
-Asus mywater 2
-Asus myzine
-Asus sync
-Asus weather
-Browser (I use firefox and dolphin)
-com.asus.pcsynclauncer
-com.asus.quicksearch
-com.asus.youtubesearch
-my upload
-mycloud
-my dictionary
-mynet
-nvidia glowball
-polaris (I use officesuite)
-splashtop
-supernote
-tags
-voice search
-zsprovider
-google search
-face unlock
-drm protected content
-dictionary provider
-com.android.wallpaperholospiral
-com.android.providers.partnerbookmark
-black hole
-search application providers
-user dictionary
-update launcher
-talkback
-file manager (I use root explorer)
-exchange services
-firmware update utility (no need for it to run on the background I'll keep an eye on XDA)
-google bookmarks sync
-market feedback agent
Then I disabled some more persistent stuff... you can use titanium backup for this (with root). The nice thing is you can also quickly renenable all apps from titanium backup (also the disabled stuff in the app manager) when going for an FW updat
-amazon
-app backup
-app locker
-chrome (I use dolphin and FF)
-cmclient (because of the spying stuff see thread on XDA)... and also because it's purpose would otherwise be unclear to me
-google +
-mylibrary
-pressreader
-mobile data (new in .30... I guess for the coming 3G TF700)
-mobile data config (the same)
-dmclient (see cmclient, only less bad according to XDA)
-email (I use gmail)
-live wallpaper picker
-tegrazone
-webstorage
-zinio
[email protected] fun center
-setupwizzard
-updatelauncher
Some remarks... I also ran clean dalvik cache from TI backup, and don't disable media storage then you can't play your music anymore
Great list, it should be stickied to the top.
freezing apps?
Very cook, rikc. I've got a couple of noob questions..
If you try to run a frozen app, does it run properly? How about after rebooting?
Is this app manager the built-in android app settings menu, or another app?
Do you need to root and unlock in order to access titanium backup?
Thanks for putting up this post. This is exactly what I was looking for.
