First copying framevork apk to app folder does nothing, second just adding new graphics to apk without modding xml files does nothing.
I suppose that you have already modded framework (first Chinese rooted ROM had this modd in framework-res.apk) and replaced those .pngs and there is no need to rename and compress just drag and drop using winrar. Of course you could not have any effect if you did not copied this apk to your root/system/framework folder.
There is also charging graphics, after all without modding xml files you can only see few graphics (battery level 0, 10, 20, 40...). And dangerous thing is replacing framework apk with another from other ROM version will end up with "bootloop"...

{GUIDE}How To- Change the BOOTAnimation of the Alcatel OT Ultra 995

To change the bootanimation of the Alcatel ot 995 you need the folowing:
RoM Toolbox PRO (To do most of the work)
1)Download a bootanimation in the resolution of 480x800
with R.T.P and stay in bootanimation manager slide to
local tab & navigate to the bootanimation.zip you just got.
(it will be in the folder romtoolbox/boot_animations/) ,
2)click on the B.Animation you want to install rename it to bootanimation and click 'Create GIF' save the GIF in the root of your sd card, rename the file to bootanimation.gif and click ok.
3)After its done use 'Root Browser' and copy the bootanimation.zip & bootanimation.gif you just made and paste it in
custpack/JRD_custres/media and replace the old boot animation.gif & bootanimation.gif file, don't forget to make a backup of your original gif & zip bootanimation & change the permissions of the .zip to rwxr-xr-x & the. gif to rwxrwxr-x
And DONE enjoy!!.
PS:You can even change the Off Animation with the same instructions.
It took a long time for me to find out about 3days to find out how to change the bootanimation so it would help if you click the thanks button.

Need SystemUI.odex file

So I deleted SystemUI.odex file and I went to cwm flash my new zip which I wanted to replace the navbar, but I quickly realized that it was bad decision because now my systemui is completely gone. I am on 15.3.A.1.14 and I don't know if it's just SystemUI.odex or both SystemUI.odex and SystemUI.apk files (I replaced the .apk with a backup 1 I had from old fw)
I need these files and I will put them in my /system/app folder (I did nothing to the /system/framework folder luckly)

How to install this bootanimation?

For download i found this
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9rJnr741qzzTWUxMTVNY085ems/view
This is the bootanimation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf7Ym4j8BtY
But there are only png files
I use CyanogenMod 12
Rename the .zip arhive to bootanimation.zip and put it on system/media, then change the permissions to rw-r-r

Can't change my emojis

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I have tried the "flashable" emojis. Both extracting the font file and replacing the NotoColorEmoji.ttf in the system folder using twrp. Then I set the permissions to 0644 using chmod. Nothing happens, flashing is the same. Is the file called something else on the op7p?
Change manually bro .. Follow this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/root-stock-emoji-fonts-ios-windows10-t3418801
I. Back up existing NotoColorEmoji.ttf from /system/fonts (Recommended File Explorer)
II. Download modded .ttf file (zip), extract the zip (Newer zips are flashable)
III. Copy-paste modded .ttf file to the same location /system/fonts, overwriting the existing one. Change permissions to rw-r-r (0644) and reboot.
IV. Enjoy your new emojis
