VoiceChanger works great, BUT it was annoying that u had to choose between the VoiceChanger software or the regular dailer everytime u tried to make a call... but its great for a one time prank lol

I have a rooted samsung galaxy s 4g and when i video call i can barely
hear the other person but hey can hear me just fine .... i have tried them all
fring, tango, qik ,,,, same thing happens wih all of them. please help me !!
It could be your connection. Are you on wifi?

I actually had some chat problems at first. But then I over clocked and used dsexton's modified build prop and it worked. Try that and let me know how it goes. I haven't used it in a while though, so hopefully someone can give you insight on this.

Are you on a carrier that doesn't have voice mail for some reason?
Google voice is an answering machine and will let you read your messages like a text instead of listening.

I use whatsapp and it does that. Possibly one of the best messaging apps there is. Both parties need it, and it is a dollar, but you can use wifi and it is rock solid stable. One of the best purchases I've made in the play store.

yeah you are only going to get that functionality when both parties are using the same app. And it would have to be a messenger/chat type app not a strictly sms/mms type app
