It's very simple, I just want the autoflash back on my camera.
I couple of months ago I started using an iPhone, but now I start missing the camera on my X10.
I flashed it to the newest wolf rom (Wolf_Xperia_7.0.0s, Android 2.3.3, Smallband 2.1.71) but I can remeber that I had autoflash in the past. Maybe with another Android version?
What do I need to get it back? Even if I have to flash to an older rom, fine!
Vignette I tried too, but that don't work...
Why Wolfsrom? There many other good Roms. But anyway you need to go into options and activate flash light every time you need it. The Wolfbreak is in stock app- so LED and zoom may not work, but this is fixed in a newer version.
Try this version: WB-XPERIA TW 009 | Look at this SonyEhh | Theme, Tweaks & Extra's | 23/7/2011
There is everything working fine

Well, if there's a better ROM to flash my x10 with, just tell me!
Most important things for me are battery life and camera. Preferably Dutch language, but with Go Launcher EX running I'm happy too...
Thnx for the link, I will give it a shot!
If you want a battery saver - just take the doomkernel and set cpu smartasv2 + bfq sheduler - saves me a lot of battery- the rom doesn´t matter( even Go Launcher runs on i guess all roms- it just theme- I myself prefer the Stock camera which is nice though with vignette. And if you are running a taskkiller - uninstall it , because android has his own "taskkiller"
Don´t be shy and hit the thanks button if I helped
Installing DooMKernel looks complicated... Don't know if I ned the locked or unlocked version...
I don't even know which baseband I need for Wolfs TW009. I'm now using .71, but do I need to downgrade to the .52 in the link you gave?
Damn....
It isn´t that complicate it looks You just need to read the posts carefully. Unfortunately you need to downgrade, but that isn´t a big deal
If you are not happy with the ver i posted above, try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192988
This Rom is without the need to downgrade Simply install it and follow instructions
Don´t be shy and hit the thanks button if I helped
Damn, now I'm stuck on Sony Ericsson screen after flashing directly to Wolfs TW009...
Can't even get in to xRecovery anymore... pffff bricked?
You don't brick this phone that easily and if you still get something on your screen you can safely assume it can be saved. In your case, you probably have a mismatch in baseband and ROM. TW009 is an old ROM and doesn't support the latest baseband (71) I think. I wonder why you would even want to use it anymore.
Use Flashtool to go back to stock if you like. You can find the link to the Flashtool download and the FTF files in this thread.
Y, you are just stuck on SE Logo, remove battery and restart then go into xRecovery.. If not do it like Realone said flashmode -> flash ftf you want(look his link) -> and you are done. I told you to use the new rom if you don´t want to downgrade...But you wanted the old one.
Ok, it was stupid indeed, flashing to old rom with new baseband...
I left the battery out all night and still I cant get into xrecovery.
And with flashtool, I don't really know what to use from this:

and which basband goes with it...
One big puzzle for me! hahahaha
I just wanted my autoflash back!
I used the second one on your list. The generic 2.3.3 . Also, you need to use base and .71
I've had the X10 since android 1.6 and I don't recall the auto flash ever working in stock camera app lol. Are you sure you weren't using vignette? Lol
Sent from my A500 using XDA Premium HD app
why would anyone go back to a very old ROM, while he can simply use camera360 or Vignette, they offer the best options for the stock camera, and the image's quality is quite awesome, and the flash button is right in front of ya in the screen, tap an'tap!
well i am on dooms rom with donut hd2.1 ne way to make my flash auto?

Buddy!! Try Vignette, autoflash is beyond perfect there
Sent from my X10 using XDA
I lost all my data on my external HDD, so now I'm downloading flashtool again and a stock ROM. (Generic version 2.1update1 build 2.1.A.0.435, the third one in the list, the 2 above, I can't download them, dunno why) I have baseband .71.
The problem is: I switch on the phone, the phone stays stuck on Sony Ericsson screen. The phone doesn't start up, there is no posibility to go into xrecovery, the only thing I see is 'Sony Ericsson'
Any help is welcome, now I'n going to figure out what to do on the flashtoolsite...
If I'm right I got the 'new' baseband (.71) with an old rom (Wolf TW009) and that gives me the problem I have now...
So first I'm getting back to stock ROM (2.1 with bb .71) and then I can flash to a custom ROM (and which is the best I want to know, for the autoflash I'm going to use vignette I guess)
I just want my autoflash back!!!
I had a similar problem a while ago and I couldn't get Flashtool to fix it.
Stuck at re-boot, no xrecovery etc.
I ended up using wotanserver's flashtool.
It accesses your phone at power on before anything else happens.
Very easy to use
http://www.wotanserver.com/en/account/login
Its free but you have to sign up.
It took me back to 2.3.3
Also I have an unlocked BL
Hope this helps

only on new radio someday will bluetooth work
gotta wait for rogers release 2.1 for that though
If u culd remove verizon startup, fix camera & recorder, and fix the game teether (FC)
Other than that the rom is blazingly fast if u ask me even faster than cursorsense, if u manage to fix above things will use this rom

teeter just delete teeter

will upload and post to forum tonite for updates to both AOSP 1.9 and Droid2Magic 1.2

it sounds like it is reloading sense there
are you killing rosie and/or sense with a task manager?
rosie should only take long on boot to load and future loads and home switches should be lightning quick
like I said WG kernel version incoming when i get home - have tested all day and it is alot faster than this [email protected]
wg kernel version up - new improved speed
Does this rom come with FriendStream?
no it is a droid eris port - read kings original thread for info
no need to load any defanged file - that is only needed for roms requiring a base to backup google apps (superD,Cyanogen)
Is video working?
With the new kernel I get many FC's (after boot I get like 5 FC)'s, and I didn't notice any response difference compared to the CM kernel
i have not experianced any FC with new kernel - doing a full wipe though
would not reccomend to no-wipe update

okay after reading a bit more and help from other users finally got this working and maybe itll be help to someone else
PHONE MUST BE ROOTED CHECK OUT THE ROOTING THREAD
AND DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK UNDERSTAND THE RISK OF OC
THE ARIA IS ALREADY PRETTY ZIPPY SO PERSONAL CHOICE
1. grab any rom cm6 or liberated, then go into the kernel thread and download the kernel pack
some people are reporting certain versions are breaking wifi,3g etc
i used oc768-v3.2 legend zip wifi working no issues plus this is sufficient for me
but if it doesnt work play around with diff kernels
2. boot into recovery mode vol down and power
3. flash your rom then flash the kernel pack and reboot
4. download and setcpu app and start OC
im not taking any credit for any of this but i wanna thank for everyone who worked on this
i just simply wanted to write this because i wanted to try this but i got alot of diff info
but after other users made a few key points decided to write this
anyone feel free to add to this and if i made any errors or whatever mods go ahead and change it
Read ,Search ,Read . I had no luck with the 3.5 kernels tho.
What you want is some hand holding it looks like.
I figured this all out for myself by reading the forum.....
but anyway I'll answer it in the foolish hope of no more people asking the same questions
1. download what files....? if your talking about roms i think youll know where to go after reading this post.
2. you can use whatever rom you like, the main two on this forum and as far as I know on the aria full stop are Liberated and Cyanogen Mod 6. Liberated is based on the stock aria rom so its pretty much what your used to with your stock aria (minus the AT&T rubbish plus a few added perks). Cyanogen Mod 6 is based on bare android so it doesn't have all the sense ui, it is also based on froyo which is the version above eclair (which is what is running on your base aria/ liberated rom). Do not ask which rom to use, it is up to personal preference you just have to try both and see which one you like.
3. you flash a kernel the same way you install a rom on your phone except instead of selecting the rom .zip file you select the kernel .zip file. You should first flash a rom and then afterwards flash the kernel. As ycode90 said some kernels don't work so just go through the process again and try another one, the 3.2 825 kernel was working on liberated for me so try that one.
All OC kernals broke wifi or mobile network on my buddies Aria, I left him with the stock kernal from CM6.

Yup, it had been my experience that these OC kernels and *anything* that utilizes gpu sucks. There isn't a kernel for the aria at this time, and by using these kernels here you are increasing cpu performance at the expense of gpu performance. I don't believe its worth it at all just for a linpack number.
Yep patiently waiting for an ARIA kernel.
Working over clock:

, just need to get the latest nightly, 87 so that bluetooth, wifi, and network all works great.
Good Luck

you install it the same way you installed the CM6 Rom. Put the kernel zip on your SD card and install the zip via Clockwork. Also anytime you flash a new Rom you will have to reflash the overclock kernel.
Sprint_Mod
Because my ROM makes "Sense" ...
About this ROM:
My ROM is designed for the users, who like me enjoys the "Sense" UI and enjoys the stock rom or wants a stock base to work off of. This ROM is tweaked to add some features that come in custom ROMS and keeps it simple for those of us that do not need all of the amazing eye candy, also for those who does not like all of the added crap that come shipped in most carrier ROMs, this rom is customizable because you can remove most of the apps that is NOT attached to Sense or Android and that will NOT break system components. The design of the ROM is to be a big improvement over the stock experience.
Features:
1. The following apps can be removed is so desired.
Amazon MP3 Store
Sprint TV and Widget
Sprint Football
Sprint Nascar
Sprint Navigation
Facebook For Android
HTC Mobile Evo Guide
Qik
Sprint Zone
Quickoffice
2.Apps2sd (Thanks Darktremor) original thread can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715938&highlight=apps2sd
3. Deodexed which means that the image is themeable some themes can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=655
4. Many scripts and code added like compcache, dalvik2cache, apps2sd, zipalign ........
Warning:
1. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PHONE "Rooted" TO USE THIS Image.
2. This Image will wipe your data however a data wipe is always recommended before you flash any ROM.
READ ME: This ROM is designed to be fully functional meaning that everything works with no workarounds. The design of this ROM is "traditionally stock-like" and "as is" please do not ask about adding or removing a feature or program, if you enjoy this ROM and want to use it as a base for your ROM by all means do so but please give credit where credit is due .........
This ROM may update frequently as I learn the architecture of "android" and this device, feedback is cool, but not all will be taken into consideration ..... Enjoy

Every one of the apps you listed in #1 can be and have always been able to be removed without breakin sense... always.
You said any app can be removed without breaking others... i can bet you differently. Sense is sense... there are things you just cant remove
Any odex or deodex rom and using root explorer can just delete those apps and a ton more.
My advise is to make a barebones one.
Right now, if i read your post correctly... everything is still there.. so what makes it ... what ever your calling it.
Not hating. Just stating a fact
And i dont see how this rom is any different from a stock rom other than you included apps on the sd card we can install...
Just asking thats all

the stock rom for this phone unlike many was very good not very bloated and functional the only thing I was doing was sharing my stock experience with the community but on the technical aspects my rom is different from the stock because it has many tweaks to it for even more functionality. I mean I'm just trying to figure out what kind of a chair you are sitting on claiming your facts ? anyway if you use any rom beside a open source rom, sense is integrated so deeply into the android core os that removing part of it most certainly breaks something in settings or a system dependant component. for example use a rom that has sense removed and go to your settings in the personalize section and see how many you can get it to force close? With my rom nothing is broke everything works plus .... say if you use this rom install some apps from your sd that you have .... and you decide to use another rom then reflash this one the apps you installed will be there already re-installed ... I dont believe the stock rom does that. So instead of trying to inpose your opinionated facts to me why don't you do us all a favor and read, if you don't like what you see then move on.
Thank you
JD

Welcome Frostmod version 2.0. A lot of work has gone into this update that I hope you will enjoy. I've spent much time on making this rom highly customizable, in other words, almost nothing is unchangeable. In my frostmod tool box app, you can now change the font of the clock, switch between adw launcher, and gingerbread aosp launcher, and a assortment of boot animations. The old permanent ics lock screen is gone. The one in version 1.6 that required a reboot is to clunky. Now you can simply go into the cyanogenmod menu, and easily apply frostmod lockscreen. there is also no native theming. All my theme work is located in a single theme manager app. A lot of things have been added to my theme, just look at the settings menu. Also in the about phone menu, you will now see a button that says frostmod version. Click on it for a full changelog, help, thanks and more. The cyanogenmod base has also been updated to cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1.I hope you like this update. If you enjoy the rom, and the time I spent on it, make sure to give me a thanks
Bellow you will find a download link, and many screen shots. All screen shots have my theming applied, as well as ics clock font. The rom can easily be changed to have the "clean" look". If you have any comments, bug reports, or recomendations, please post them bellow

Can't wait for the new file so I can test this out. Thanks man!
I believe I have fixed it, and it should boot now. Remember that this is pretty much stock cyanogenmod, but I am working on a great theme
So far very smooth rom, seems stable. Thank you for your work.

Runs amazingly smooth. Went from CM7 to this, and everything is just so much snappier. Thanks for making a custom-built OG droid experience!
Running it now, seems to be nice, and love the 1.2 ghz over clock.. Great Job!
Running quite smooth so far, using the first link not the second, would love to try the second but I dislike pre skinned roms

Hello, this is a notification on my version 2 rom's progress. I have included a lot of new things, and have gone deeper into the source code. My next rom will have a better theme, but I am attempting to get most of theme into a theme Chooser app so you can decide if you want my themeing or not. There is also plenty of XML editing. I think you will get a few laughs out of my next version
I just have to work out a problem with the desk clock app

Thats very good news! (besides the whole desk clock problem) I like how your rom is shaping up, it's nice and stable, though for some reason it's really laggy on my phone, but I like your theme from your past version, especially the pull down menu
Lovin the rom but why is the launcher so blurry in the app drawer
How is this rom coming along?

I got a galaxy nexus for Christmas, and that along with a bunch of school stuff has made me spend little time on this project. I will try to release what I have got after I have finished up a few small things monday or tuesday

I have a question! Does the browser has LABs option available in Settings? Mikes Rom doesnt and its hard to find the right HTC browser apk with the labs option for quick controls. The ics stock browser doesnt work well with quick controls. I will download urs anyhow! You seem very passionate about this!!!

I have 4g mod 6.1, beats ICS 4.3 and 1.78 GHz overclocked and undervolted kernel. Running around 84%. Will put some apps up and get on my wifi. I'll be back later on to give my results and with my usage
can the add ons and kernal be flashed after the su zip? Or should I boot the rom before I add them?

Hey,
Rom is very interesting to me, could you answer a few questiins though please?
File size is over 500mb, has the rom been optimised? (Deodexed, zip align etc.)
You mention some apps run on your rom that doesnt on other ics roms, can we have an example?
Innocent question- you make a fuss over dropbox being in the rom, did dropbox not work on ics before?
Also just to make double sure, you say to download a firmware from the other thread, I'm assuming you mean 3.24? Not 3.12? Its not made too clear in the thread (I have just woke up though so probably my bad)
I am downloading this now so ill give some feed back, its nice to see a new dev in town who is passionate about their rom! So thank you for helping keep the scene fresh
Raty
Edit-
Ok, still on first boot without Su zip installed (it errored, not sure why.) First impressions? I'm not a fan of circular battery mod, but it might grow on me. This Rom is BLISTERINGLY fast. I've come from SENSaY gingerbread Ron which is very good, but this Rom feels snappier straight out the box, on first boot! I haven't changed the kernal on this, so safe to say it seems good.
So far its stable, but I need more time to play with it, same as battery. I'll give better feedback later well done mate!

1.Yep rom is already optimized with zipalign for better performance
2. I didnt mean my apps doesnt run on ics lol its just that im saying some apps in the android market right now are not compatible with ICS, but all apps in my rom run 100 % includin browser and camera everything working
3. ehhe yeah, dropbox are not normally included in any custom rom but in mine it is
4. IN the link i gave there is 3.24 firmware that has revolutionary In the thread there are three firmware to download, 3.12, 3.24 and 3.24 revolutionray
IF u want fastboot command download 3.24 revolutionary, if u want normal firmware download 3.24

Facts and advise :d
hey for you guys that want better performance or anything that got to do with speed, check out my second post
for you guys that want better battery life, go to system tuner application and on cpu section go to boot setting, ondemand behaviour and set power save bias to the max

So far this is my favorite ics Rom. I'm incredibly impressed, facial lock works better than other older roms I've tried.
Browser is brilliant, response is brilliant, battery life so far seems ok (85% remaining, I flashed on battery too)
Circle is growing on me, I don't want to lose the overglow, its small and unobtrusive, but its nice!
My only issue is this - Su won't flash from clockwork recovery. It fails each time. I've downloaded it twice, took out the brackets, everything I can think of, so that kinda blows :'( but apart from that, best ics Rom ive used yet!

Hi,
Thanks for this new rom.
I have a question before installing.
Can we have applications on SD card to avoid Sense FC and move them to internal memory?
