i hav a samsung galaxy i15801 and i recently upgraded it to 2.2 froyo buy giving it in service centre.. nw if i want to root my phone will it be a problem? cos i hav already got 2.2 in my mobile

hello all....i'm new with android os and i bought a galaxy s2 few days back..when i went through reviews before purchase,i found 2.3.6 kinda solved the battery drainage problem....my device is using 2.3.3...so if anyone can plz tell me from where to download and how to install latest version of OS officially released by samsung in my S2 as easily as possible,it'll be of great help to me...thanks in advance.....

i hav samsung galaxy ace duos s6802 is gingerbeard only ..no upgraded version in not avaliable....i searched.....so help me to upgarde my phone to ics:crying:
