does anyone know if an android rom is soon to be released or not ?
I would advise looking for an answer to this in the Samsung Focus or Questions and Answers forums. A mod will probably move it to Q&A soon, so use this for future reference.

So I've got a question, and I hope this is the right forum. I have an HTC Thunderbolt and I use Instagram. A friend that has an iPhone told me about an app called InstaDM. I did some digging and found an .apk on the web, but it's from a site that I don't know how I feel about it.
I was not able to post a link, but the name of the site is WebPicture.
Is there a way to test out the integrity of an .apk file before installing it to see what kind of stuff it may be doing in the background? If you tell me to delete the .apk and not install it, I have no issue with that, but I thought I would at least ask before moving forward.
