Can people at samsung care detect this?

Well, I rooted, installed custom roms and stuff for about 1000 times.. now if i install a stock jp6 then can they detect that i rooted earlier?
if you flash official stock firmware without any tweaks they can't detect you had rooted your phone.
You sure? then i'll go right now..!
Go have a beer.. its all good

Got the notice for the 4.0.4 OTA UPDATE, currently on el29, rooted stock with cwm recovery. Sprint network. Does anybody know if this will break root?

OTA's always break root. I don't know why anybody would need to ask anymore since they always have and always will.

search is your best friend
but here are 2 links i found (didnt see anything for Irbil, but you can see whats the latest there)
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-N915G
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N915G/
and the latest firmware is 5.1.1 for your phone
may be the most actual link:
http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-N915G
I think better way is to keep the original firmway
