please help me
When I try to boot my captivate i get into a " phone .. exclamation mark .. pc "image!!
I read some who solved the problem by flashing an image with odin by entering the download mode!
The problem is that I can't enter the download mode!
thats happend after i take of battery while i doing downgrade with odin.
now i cant do anything all time on screen is " phone .. exclamation mark .. pc "

today when i was opening the download mode.
it took too much time to load, i couldnt waited for it and switched off my cell by removing battery from cellphone.
after restarting it started giving this error with yellow triangle in middle.
"FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN."
I downloaded the kies for it , connected to it for recovery . but after getting my model name and serial number it said that,
"firmware and upgradation. GT 7562 does not support initialisation"
some ppl said me that u should manually do flash it by downloading something related to it from samsung updates.com site.
i have downloaded this 580mb size thing and ppl said that i have to manually flash it by odin.
friends i m a doctor and literally sau=ying i dont know what to do now.
CAN U PEOPLE HELP ME ????????

Hi Everyone , i really need some help
so i was gonna try this Custom ROM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2047795
i did exactly what the guide says , then it got stuck on the " Samsung Galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102 " logo
for like 1 hours , i got scared so i got the battery out and restarted my phone
but its still the same , this time i waited for like 2 hours but still stuck in the logo .
(i also tried the recovery mode : volume up + home + power but it wont work , i'm still stuck in the logo )

i tried it hoping it would solve the problem but another problem popped up , Odin cant recognize my phone (also my pc cant recognize my phone) .
I did exactly what the guide says , it was written in the guide that if i connect my phone to the pc i will see a yellow 0:[COMxx] in the first ID:COM and "Added" in the message box
but when i connect my phone it did nothing , no yellow thing , no " Added " in the message box .
Question is can anyone help me ?? please ??

Hi,
Be sure you installed kies, which should give you the drivers to see your device. Then be sure Windows sees your device properly when you plug it in. (check Windows device manager )
Now, to use Odin, you need to stop any running processes of kies on your PC in task manager, processes. (doing control-alt-delete)
Also, your phone has to be in download mode for Odin to see it.
If you need any help with any of that, you should be asking in the last thread you linked.

OMG , dude thank you so much , i dont know what happen , i just downloaded the samsung kies , stop the processes , phone should be on download mode and then
SUDDENLY my pc and odin recognized my phone , now my phone is working again , thank you thank you thank you
the phone mean so much to me , this is my first phone and even though i have 3 other phones i still love this one
My S4 Mini (GT-I9195 LTE) stopped working and shutdown suddenly when i was outdoor .... then i tried to open it again or charge it ,but when i connect the charger it show up the Battery sign for a second then shutdown again .... and when i tried to open it normally ,it stuck on Samsung logo .... and when i tried to download firmware through {Odin} it show " Fail ! " on Odin window and shows "Secure check fail : aboot " on the mobile screen in red color !!
So what can I do about this

To sum up
the main problem is ( the phone stucks on Samsung logo and didn't accept any firmware from odin showing " secure check fail : aboot " in red color on the phone screen
The Solution !! Finally
first i would say that the phone stuck on the screen which shows the phone name and model not samsung logo which is shinning or have animation :angel: ,,,, and somtimes show "Recovery Boot" on the top left corner of the screen
the problem is in the recovery not the firmware it self and this will fix phone without losing data at all
In steps :
1 - download the attachment .
2 - flash it using Odin V3.09 (( the same way you flash firmware ))..... only check Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time .
All done
note : the attachment contains (.tar) file which have recovery for almost all Samsung devices (((((ONLY))))) , and also have Odin V 3.09

So I wanted to root my Galaxy Core Prime When my brother touched the power plugin during the Process.
So Now I'm stuck on a message saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & Try again."
I get FAIL! message everytime I do something and FRP message in Phone. the Stupid Guide did only mention USB debugging and No OEM or something like that
Note that I cannot Open Recovery Mode... Only Download mode...
Please help !!!!!

You can flash it with Odin when it is in that state, just connect it to Odin while on the "encountered an issue" screen and flash the firmware.
Hey, I flashed the stock rom but it is still on the start screen.
Any suggestions?
Firstly its says can't draw image '.jpg_draw_failed' then I google to solve it...then I found a way on Google.. I have to flash with OMAPF..after finished it start then stuck on Samsung logo...then I disconnect USB cable then trying to reboot after that suddenly I have black screen...won't even get on won't even get into recovery or download mode...I trying to flash using Odin but how to flash if my phone won't even getting into download mode...please help me....I have been googling for ages....help mee....I love my s2...and BTW 3 button won't work for me...pull the battery out and in doesn't work..using Omapf again also didn't work.... Thnks in advance.... and btw i already try that samsung 300K Tools but it seems doesnt repond and detect my phone....what else should i do next??
