Does anybody happen to know how to change the regular wallpaper so it stays?? I've figured out that when i try to disable certain apps it will break my ability to change a static wallpaper. I havent figured out which app it is or why it does this. Does anybody have any insight into this???
Don't disable these:
Wallpaper settings
TWWallpaperChooser
These are the only two I can think of off the top of my head
They were never disabled. When I try to change either the homescreen wallpaper or the lock screen wallpaper my phone freezes for a couple seconds then says gallery has stopped working.

Are you on GB or ICS? Custom or stock? May want to boot to CWM and wipe dalvik and try a fix permissions also. Other than that, I'm at a loss. You're having a weird issue.

Hello!
I got an issue regarding MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. The bug started after the app had been working for a while, what happens is that when i go to the Picture Source option (doesn't matter if it is on Common Settings or an Individual Screen) and select Single Picture:
The screen goes greyed out (as if a menu should be popping up leaving the background out of focus), when i before had the option to pick a file explorer to browse with, nothing happens. If i touch the screen or press anything else the menu goes back into focus, i just cant seem to be able to pick a picture.
The popping up of file explorer was quite slow before already, but now the transformer even goes to standby before anything happens.
What i've tried:
Cleaning data of MultiPicture Live Wallpaper
Reinstalling the app
Cleaning data of Launcher Pro Plus (also tried without having it installed at all)
Reinstalling that app as well.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: The nature of the bug doesnt seem to be limited to this app, every time there is a choice of application (opening video or picture for example) is bugged. I will google some more, or feel free to suggest where to look
It's a bug that is present in the 2.3 firmware. The work around is to turn on rotate screen in the settings menu and while your in Live Wallpaper just turn the tablet opposite from what you have it at and the list chooser will appear.
Cheers...
Hello everyone, I am hoping you all can help me with a problem I've been having that I can't seem to figure out. I am having a weird problem with my launchers on my DX. After either entering settings or undocking from my car dock, My launcher will show as blank, with no widgets, icons, or even dock bar.
The part that really gets me is that I am seeing this through multiple SBF's, data wipes, fresh app reinstalls, and multiple ROM's. It has happened on Go Launcher and Launcher Pro Plus while running Shuji (1 and 2), Liberty, and Liberty AOSP. I'm thinking something else has to be causing it but have no idea where to start... any ideas?
When it happens just scroll your finger updown on empty screen, this might help

Scrolling up and down didn't help, but I think I've isolated the problem. I found out that if I enter settings and then hit back, it makes all widgets/icons/dock disappear. If I leave settings by hitting the home button however; everything is normal. Furthermore, this only happens if I am using a live wallpaper; if I set a static wallpaper, there is no issue. So, it appears that my live wallpapers are misbehaving. Thing is, I'm not sure what to do about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Well it appears I've solved the problem. In case anyone else runs into it, I fixed it by grabbing the LiveWallpapersPicker.apk out of the Liberty 0.8 flashable zip (over at RootzWiki in the DX > Developer > Liberty thread) and replacing the file in my system/apps with the new one using Root Explorer. After a reboot, the problem disappeared and hasn't come back. Hope this can be of help to someone else!
I'm using apex Launcher (non rooted)
So this started happening to me on a daily basis : I go into any particular app or perform a task and when I return to what it supposed to be the home screen I instead see just the wallpaper. The wallpaper still scrolls and if I tap in the areas I know the icons are supposed to be I can still access them. Please help, I don't know what is causing this and lately I'm having to reboot the system or force stop the launcher to get it back to normal. Anyone else experience this issue?
Nothing....
factory reset
Try to uninstall the launcher and reboot.
If you keep having these problems do a factory reset and you will loose less time than trying to find why these troubles happen.
Anyone having issues changing your lock screen wallpaper? I'm running Synergy r55 and anytime I try to change the lock screen wallpaper it says SecWallpaperChooser has stopped? I don't think it's a ROM thing cause I couldn't change it before th eroot/unlock/ROM. It didn't crash before though it process like it was going to change but wouldn't.
The other weird thing is I flashed CleanROM and it changed to the default lockscreen wallpaper it has???? WTH

I dunno if this has anything to do with your problem, but if I try to change my wallpapers any way except going into system settings>wallpaper it get's screwy. I'm also running Synergy.
Try doing it that way to see if it makes any difference, as opposed to long pressing the homescreen etc..

That was the way I was trying and it was failing, but since the flash to r60 it works...
I have a bug with my Nexus 5. Whenever I unlock my phone to the launcher from the lockscreen, the wallpaper will reload itself. It is very irritating since the wallpaper is already loaded on the lockscreen. I'm using Action Launcher but it happens on GNL as well. It seems to have developed recently since I didn't have the issue before. It occurs on all types of wallpapers, both live and static. I'm running Stock and Xposed. I tried disabling GravityBox but it didn't fix the problem. I might factory reset just to get rid of it.
