Hello. I have been using Supercharged 5 v1 and everything has been great. But recently i lost my internet connectivity. My 4g signal is grey out. I can make calls and text but no internet. I wondering if this is a rom issued or a service issue. Also if anybody have had this problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What is "prl" and "profile" in the settings? I'm new with sprint. Don't exactly know what those two options are for, and why they need to be updated. Thanks for any response I can get: p

Prl preferred roaming list, tells your phone about the way it connects to towers. Profile is for your data connection, used to sync your phone to your data access

Ok thanks, appreciate the info. How often should one update these? On a side note, you look like the dude from shinedown

No, you don't generally have to worry about profile and prl just when new towers arrive in your area. Shinedown huh lol glad I just cut all the hair off lol

Did you possibly go over your data plan limit?
Or running with a Sim from service that cant use the 4g service native to the phone?

I was told never to try to go on 4g. Um ... I don't think its possible for me to even download anything over at the speeds that I get right now. It goes off and on. It just sets really annoying. I didn't do the flashing or anything. I even try to manually to stay on "GSM/cdma auto prl " and choosing the radioband to "USA "

I have no idea. I just bought this phone off Craigslist and it was boost ready. Sorry I know I'm not a big help

Don't know much about cdma. when I was researching flashing a broken epic to see if its worth fixing the screen, I notice you need a boost 3g phone to do it. Could be that it wasn't. Could be your plan, area. Have you done a speed test?
Sent from mI y SGH-T959V using Tapatalk
Where can I do a speed test? Well the last one I had was a flip phone Motorola from boost. For a couple times I thought that could be

I see a lot of T-Mobile sgs2 roms with mms over wifi. Does anyone know how hard it would be to implement that into one of our roms?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk
The issue is not the rom it's that att does not do cell service over wifi.
Works fine over wifi on the iPhone

Phone keeps switching 3g to H a lot. So websites time out. Any fix? I've tried every apn
Running bean stock 4.2.1
Also my imei is fine
Sent from my SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
Really shouldn't be a problem. H is higher speed.

That's not a problem. It is just showing a more accurate symbol for what the phone is doing. The reason it stayed like that on GB was a placebo to make us all think we had H+ all the time. I like it this way because you know when its using the faster network. This was done on purpose.

Just curious if you've tried the UVMC6 radio. I get signal in places I've never gotten before...

Sent from my SGH-T769 using xda app-developers app
Does it have no signal everywhere? Or does it seem to be localized to one tower? It might be a tmobile tower issue, maybe your getting refarmed.
I have signal now
And it just dropped...
I have another blaze but It was "defective" so I unrooted it ,used triangle away and flashed stock firmware so now it says Samsung official and my tracks are cleared but the replacement won't be here until Thursday and on my other blaze I had signal everywhere! Never dropped under 3 bars on that blaze, and on the current blaze I'm using now i rarely ever get above 2 bars and signal constantly drops
