I noticed when I switched to sense..inclinometer(sp?) is slow to react and isn't smooth. Hopefully they fix it.

I've had zero issues with Temple and I'm running Stang's Bass 3D ,a 3.5 Rom.

Pocket legends on xplay

Guys anyone playing pocket legends using this phone? What is the best rom/kernel to use to have a smooth pocket legend game experience, i notice some lags while playing and those are not ping related lags,

Supercharger V6 should do miracles
Thanks for the reply, but idk if supercharger v6 is working for .64,
By the way what is your setting on super chargerv6

I'm using supercharger as well, MegaRAM mode, I don't think I'm using the latest version though. Works wonders.

Temple Run - Gyroscope/accelerometer issues?

Anyone else having issues with the internal gyroscope/accelerometer? Whenever i try to get the runner to shift, it have to literally rotate the phone 45 degrees or more. My tablet and iPhone don't need this? Any ideas on how to increase the accelerometer sensitivity phone- wide?
pretty sure its a game issue as it is their first release, give it some time it will be hashed out I'm sure.
I forgot to mention the real reason i posted this--
My phone had a rather harsh fall onto concrete, i was wondering if that could've messed up its internals. Hope it was just a glitch!
Same! I have to turn 45 degree. I look like an idiot playing it. XD
I have this same issue with my tilt controlled games as well. (Doodle Jump & now Temple Run) seems to be a gyroscope calibration issue but since we don't have a way to calibrate (not included on stock rom) then were pretty much stuck playing at a 45° angle.

Mine seems more responsive when held parallel to the ground, but I don't have any issues holding it perpendicular to the ground, in fact just testing this, I scored one of the highest runs I've had yet. I'm running stock 2.3.3
Damn, i was hoping there would be simple fix
Where did you find temple run for Android?

Found it

I'm running Hellfire Sandwich 1.4 and I had to tilt a lot to get the coins on the edge, but then I flashed this new kernal, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1567097, and tilt is very responsive.

I have hfs and harsh kernel. Buttery smooth

Same here, I have to turn it quite a bit, even with maximum sensitivity. I thought that was the way it was supposed to be.

I'm on HFP 2.0 and temple run is buggy as hell. sometimes it doesn't register my flicks and is frustrating as hell. hopefully because it's just the first build...

What kernel are you using? I remember back when on CM7 based roms, Draw Something wouldn't work, unless you used Faux's kernel.
Sent from my amazing G2x running EaglesBlood and Faux.
ya, im running HFS1.4 with harsh kernal and it works fine... BUT on my wifes phone running HFP2.0 with the faux kernal it came with tilt barely works... strange..
I've noticed that it works perfectly on weapon g2x, I think it's an issue with cm7 based roms
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA
I believe it's a kernel issue.
It doesn't work on ANY cm7 kernels.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA
Works on Faux + EB. I have to tilt it a bit but I've gotten used to it.
Sent from my amazing G2x running EaglesBlood and Faux.
I tested it on hfp with faux weird sensor annoying game play having to tilt like crazy, hfs with new 3.0.2.6 kernel and now fantastic game play

[Q] How to increase tilt sensitivity

ok so, i was playing temple run on my g2x and noticed that i had to tilt my phone all the way to left and right just to run right beside the edges. so is there a way to change it? (some of you might tell me that there's an option for sensitivity on the options of temple run, i know about that and its sensitivity for the swipes not for the tilt sensor)
I know that different roms or kernals don't know which affect your g2xs sensitivity. No idea how to change it though manually.

Look around for the other temple run thread and you will see what's going on, with that knowledge, you are running a CM7 variant?

yes im running cm7 nightly, so i did go to the temple run thread and i kinda found out that some people installed new kernels and fixed it.
Yea, a different kernel will help with that. Try either Faux or Morfic.

yea you can use it and everything, but since it's not supported, it wont work as smoothly asa you want it to be. If you uninstall it, go to the market and look it up, it'll say not supported on our device
ive been screwing with chainfire 3d trying to get it running better, ive gotten it to be on the verge of playable but it could be better, im gonna tinker with it some more and see what i can come up with. thanks for the info though.

Have you oc'd at all? Or set scaling to performance?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Off you are on a bml ROM (haven't cheeked out bare bonne so i don't know) you can flash lightning zap then adjust the governor settings... There are instructions on how to do so linked in the OP... That should smooth out fps refresh rate...

Im on the oc kernel so yeah i got that bad boy cranked up to 1400, it was my understanding that only ondemandx and smartass worked in regards to scaling on this particular kernel, but hey i'll try just about anything, if that makes a difference i will let you know.

Do you suppose id have better luck on a mtd rom in general? But ive installed lightning zap plenty of times, so i will give it a go and if i get something real smooth and playable i will report back how that came about. i appreciate all your work thanks.

Each phone is different, tweaks and such that improves your phone performance may not help the next phone. That is also why the game might be unplayable on your device. Also most newer roms have the various tweaks built in. So installing them twice can end up harming your performance.
I was in the same boat as OP. I used Gremlin Remover, and started from scratch, and now I'm getting decent performance from GTA. Still lags some. But not as bad as used to. Definately playable.
It works just fine for my wife.
