Hey..
The firmware you provided worked however its not "Virgin Mobile" branded for Australia.
Do you have one for Virgin Mobile Australia? currently a splash screen with logo "Kcell" is displayed upon starting the phone after the Samsung S2 logo.
or
if you have firmware XWKF1
Please HELP

not sure what the "insecure" means but this is what I found. I got the download link from, make sure to thank him.

samsung gs2 rooting

I was looking at this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399&page=147
trying to figure out a root for my phone. it was recommended to me by someone on the androidforums.
so when i read the thread i see where everyones model number is i9100
my specs says this
model # shw-m250k
firmware version 2.3.3
baseband version m250k.ee17.1456.kt
2.6.35.7.m250k.ee31.1419-cl213937
build number gingerbread.ee31
my phone says galaxy sII on the box, on the manual and when you power it up, but the model numbers dont match.
i bought my phone in korea a few days ago from an olleh store. i am in the us army station here and want to use the phone on the verizon network when i get back to the u.s. next year.
s2 rooting
Hi all, Im totally newbie to this so I start reading a root guide here in order to do it on my phone. After reading I been able to find the firmware I should use but when go to my phone and look at the specs I find that some differ from the ones posted
My config is (by pressing *#1234#):
PDA: I9100XWKF3
PHONE: I9100XXFK1
CSC: I9100OJVKF1
I would like to now if I use the files (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278) under the XWKF3 section it will work for me ?
I want that my phone had Spanish and English language (as now) and want to make sure it will, also would like to know if with the "FOP" file and the "XWKF3 Stock Kernel" it is enough in order to root it ?
Sorry for the long question and please if someone knows or have a similar config and was able to root the device let me know.
Thx in advance.
Wouldn't both these posts be better served in the Samsung galaxy SII forum??

Vodafone Smart 4 Power (985N) upgrade to lollipop

Hi all,
I have done extensive searching, in XDA and on Google, before posting this, but either links provided no longer work or one has to sign up to a subscription via cellphone number before one can download anything, so I am asking here if anyone has managed to upgrade the Vodafone 985N Smart 4 Power to Lollipop successfully, with everything working including the LTE/4G. If so, could you please provide a link to the ROM?
Thanking you,
Mark.
