Thanks I'll try it
It works

Shame about the mdpi framework - notification bar icons look horrible. Hopefully someone can port it onto our framework

yep its not real pretty but its not a deal breaker for me
i know the icons are not real pretty ...i didnt notice at first, but the rest is pretty nice and i especially like the option to boot in recovery and the swipe notification...maybe someone can remake the top icons

I would love for the swipe notification clear and long back press close app mods to be ported to nebells ics notification mod

[Q] task bar transparent until I touch it

This only happens on main screen. I am running Liquidsmooth Jellybean 4.2.1, It started randomly tonight and I cannot find a fix for it. Restarted phone, uninstalled apps that could be causing problems with it. my task bar becomes transparent on the homescreen but when i touch it it becomes black again but when i let go it just becomes transparent. Do I need too reflash my rom or what?

To confirm. Do you just run the installer in the apk and go from there?

So the link provided in the OP says that this MOD works if you have the FRAMEWORK installed....I don't want to install any framework. I just want my stock look....for now, lol.

Yes..its posted in the instructions in the link I gave you.
Its pretty cool because now you can customize everything from change the carrier name on the lock screen to removing the am/pm in the status bar with the press of a button..

Really..all u have to do is download the app..open it..press install/update and reboot and thats it..the customizations are for stock. It doesn't change the look..just adds and remove certain features. If you don't like then dont change it.
Thanks. Doesn't look like it works on Free Rom.
Followed the directions and the changes don't stick after rebooting.
Never mind. It works. I forgot to enable the mod.

You should have installed 2 apps "xposed installer" & "nottach xposed". Open the "exposed install" app..hit "install/update" under the Frameworks side..on the top right side you should see "Modules"..enable "Nottach exposed". Then reboot. Now open the Nottach Exposed app and start customizing.
Its cool that things are starting to work across different variants and carriers. Hopefully ROMs and kernel won't be far behind.
I guess i was trying to make too many changes but nottach crashed on me. i had to clear app cache and data then clear framework and reinstalled and make changes again. just fyi if it happened when i had changed the color on status bar, changed the notification window colors. Then i tried changing to notification bar color and thats when it rebooted with default colors
thanks for this! This solved so many things I found annoying about this phone. The 100% charge notification??? Ugh!!! And more! here's my modded drop-down notification drawer. I changed the colors and transparency. I think it looks great!
The one thing I did notice was that the Circle Battery mod didn't work after a reboot.

Yea man I got it to work. I'm on viper ROM, don't know if that matters. I'm loving the clock on the left tho
I'm afraid to make anymore changes. This is how I have mine setup.

Thanks, but wait. What's Viper ROM? I've never heard of such a ROM for our device.

Torch (or at least Notification toggles) from lockscreen?

Is there a mod I can flash to allow the notification shade from the lockscreen? Would be nice to access Torch without having to unlock my device...
EDIT: I should point out that I don't use the lockring, and I like how 4.4 eliminates the lockring if you use a PIN for security.
EDIT 2: Even a (gigantic) Torch widget for the lockscreen would be acceptable.
So you're not able to pull down notifications or toggles from your lockscreen? By default you're able to but maybe not once you've set a password. There are many flashlight/torch widgets however.
There is a mod for Xposed called Notification Mod that enables you to pull down your notifications shade when you have a PIN lock. Couple that with the torch quick settings tile from GravityBox and you'll be good to go.
Sent from my Moto X
i use widgetsoid to add a torch toggle widget to the lockscreen, and i've just set my unlock to be pin rather than slide and it still shows up, so that might be worth looking into
We have a winner! This thing is perfect. Completely minimalist, it's just a small, or medium, or huge plain flat holo-style icon as a widget on the lockscreen. In all sizes, it's centered. Tap it and the LED goes on, tap it again and the LED goes off. Couldn't have asked for a better solution. And to think, I was just about to spend hours trying to figure out what the heck "Xposed framework" is and what ROMs it's compatible with and how to use it, just to get a flashlight on the lockscreen.
How is this not a feature in every ROM yet???

No custom toggles in MIUI?

So I am new to MIUI and am stuck using it til my remaining 260 hours til I can unlock it to flash the P preview are over. I use an application that creates toggles for my hue lights and its convenient so I don't need to open the Hue app and wait for it to load every time I want to toggle my lights. I can't seem to find where to add more toggles to the notification drawer in MIUI though. Has this feature been removed or can I just not find it?

Have you checked the "Sort" toggle in quick settings bar (the last one after you expand them by swiping down)?
Custom toggles for apps installed aren't listed
I don't think this is available on MIUI... At least I haven't been able to add any app quick titles either. They love breaking these little things.
Nope, not on MIUI. It wasn't until last year or so you were able to swipe away notifications on the lock screen!

Disabling vibrate/silent notification icons

I've just noticed after updating to 5.1.7 (I skipped .6) that I have a vibrate icon in the status bar (I am in vibrate, so this isn't in itself odd). However, I can't seem to find a way to hide it. I checked Settings / Status Bar / Icon Manager, but it isn't listed there.
I am rooted with magisk, and have xposed, if there is a simple workaround that anyone can recommend.
(While I'm posting, I really wish I could move the clock over to the right too.)
Thanks!
Systemui tuner in app store might be able to do that
Thanks, that worked! I toggled off "volume", and it took care of both.
Thanks for helping! There's no "vibration" option in System UI Tuner makes people so confusing...

Oxygen already allows to hide things in the Status Bar, under the Display options, you don't need a third party app On custom ROMs, depends on the build though !

I'm on Hovoc, which supports disabling Status Bar icons long time ago
But no matter using ROM or SystemUITuner to disable icons, the "Vibrate" icon always showed as the name of "Volume", which makes me confusing lmao.
