[ROM] [2-17-11]Nuggy's Unlimited Evo RLS1.99

This Rom Is going to be updated to a sense 2.1 with 3.0 features. I deleted the old Rom from this thread due to it being outdated but I'm trying to learn how to set up a base with 2.1 so that we I can begin the project. I also decided to do something a bit different I'm going to request some help from other that would like to see the rom on their OG Evo's if your interested just pm me or add me on talk [email protected]
The user who decide to help names will be posted so that their contributions will be noticed.

Yeah I just changed a few things though. Mine still has the System UI error on the current one, and I just added in the fix for phone apk. If you want I can still post it though...

Yeah would be nice, can you see the statusbar in your build and have you tried the system ui from the nexus s port btw??

I'd love to check out the latest stoneyjones build even with the systemui error....maybe play around with a few things and get lucky and sort it out = )

General talking in here just for fun... Easier than subscribing.
But I know I'm going to stay in the Dev thread because it's exciting.

I found a little easter egg. Just like in Gingerbread AOSP, if you tap really fast on the Android version in 'About Phone', it pops up with a cool 8-bit style Android.

So does the build you posted have the touchscreen working? And graphics not distorted? Sorry for the questions but there's so many builds and fixes knocking around now im getting confused!!

No graphics distorted, just slow. And full mutitouch is working, once you make it to the homescreen and switch to maps wallpaper.

Hmm might not have it in that version. Sorry... Oh well, I'll have an updated one posted tomorrow, and hopefully radio or wifi at least.
If you can find the maps apk, you can use adb install to put it on the phone.

So.. The Droid Charge had a screen shot feature, but my TweakStock rom doesn't seem to have it. Is there a way I could install a zip to get this working again?

Dwitherell removed it because the activation method is too awkward. Use something like ShootMe.

You realize that the unreliable app that you so desperately want is always running in the background, where an app like shootme is only running when you want it to run and take a screenshot?

No. I don't realize that. Lol. I haven't done research on Shootme, and I'm still learning a few things.
I don't notice anything new in the background after zip'ing.

Im new here and Im learning to flash, I already tried miui after reading the stickies under development section, now I wanted to try Fasty III, link/links not working! then the second rom that atract me was iluminance 3 and all links were on multiupload! come on guys multiupload has been dead all the month!! (or forever now) I can't yet post under dev section to just reply there that's why Im creating this post..
Can someone ask to reupload links or handle me a working one/ones?

Hmmm....megaupload is down...not multi upload...unless I missed something.

No luck with multi upload here either. I had to move all my stuff. If anyone is interested, minus.com is a decent alternative, with 10gb space. Or Dropbox.

Might want to check out Nostalgia (based on Fasty). It new and under active development.

I would think that if the ROMs were still active the Devs would have fixed the links. So them being broken would signal to me "try a different ROM."

You're right about emailing roms, good thing there are services like Dropbox.

it's not only ROMs
it's other XDA stuff like app mods with source etc. hurts really. and developer is gone.
